Complaint: I need my mortgage modified so I can have a lower payment and based on my income. I requested from my mortgage company Ditech XXXX XXXX a mortgage modification and submitted my financials several times. They said to me I've had several modification which is not true.
I have not received a modification in the mail. I'm elderly and I don't want to loose my home. I also take care of my XXXX sister.

Complaint: Ditech sent me a letter in XXXX letting me know my escrow was short. After hours of investigation I found out my oroginal title closing attorney never paid my taxes that were collected. I finally got that money collected and sent it directly to ditch, letting them know about the situation. Called them to notify them that was the 6 months city and county taxes that needed to go directly to my escrow. And to order a escrow anylasis a couple weeks later so that my monthly payment should go back to where it was suppose to be. They did not do as I told them, and put half of my tax money in to my principal. Now they are calling me telling me my account is delinquent, its going to effect my credit, threatening me, and saying they cant order another escrow anylasis. They are adding additional late fees etc. after I was told to only pay the regular mortgage payment, not the increased.

Complaint: Ditech ( run by former execs of XXXX Mortgage ) holds my HAMP approved mortgage. Account # XXXX. I signed the XXXX XXXX statement for good compliance, which reduces my principle by {$5000.00} in XXXX, and it was received ( certified mail ) on XX/XX/XXXX by Ditech.
I called them for update or progress report on XX/XX/XXXX. Their report to me is that The Government has not Released the funds.
Please help me understand, or follow up further.

Complaint: My mortgage has essentially doubled since GreenTree/Ditech purchased it in Mid XX/XX/XXXX. From approx {$1100.00} to approx. {$2000.00}.
Instead of conducting escrow analysis yearly they have done it XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, & XX/XX/XXXX. Without time for my escrow to build, my mortgage payment continues to skyrocket.
I had an escrow shortage notice of approx $ XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I called to have account noted that I would pay off escrow by mid XX/XX/XXXX.
I specifically mailed the 3 payments of $ XXXX to the escrow account payment address NOT the mortgage payment address. Why even have seperate addresses?
However, todate only 1 payment was credited to escrow. 1 is held in unapplied funds. 1 is still unaccounted for. Each payment specified escrow shortage payment.
After requesting they rerun my escrow on my primary home account so I know my new XX/XX/XXXX payment, it still shows {$2000.00} despite escrow shortage being satisfied.
On my other mortgage, my request to discontinue escrow was denied based on having a negative escrow which had already been satisfied.
I was told it was their error and to go online to resubmit. Ironically when I went online that functionally was no longer available.
Their business practices are dubious and inconsistent.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, my 3 bedroom mobile home was repossessed by GXXXX XXXX XXXX after I paid well over amount financed {$17000.00}. I called to ask them my payoff and they gave an outrageous price and company financed in my cousins name when initially he was my cosigner which they never corrected. The mobile home sales person gave me all the information and told me to call the finance company for questions due they had been paid. Green Tree called back in two weeks stating they were pulling the home for no payment. I had already paid on this home since early XX/XX/XXXX's. It was first financed under another company, then XXXX XXXX, then XXXX XXXX XXXX. I asked them what happened to all the money I paid XXXX XXXX and they stated it was transferred to Green Tree. I was taken for thousands of dollars and still haven't heard anything from them. I called for up to two years now and still no settlement to me as promised. This is simply fraudulent and now they are stating they are Ditech. How do I get my money back? This is so unfair. I even called consumer affairs and channel 5 news to report. Please assist me with my issue by responding who I should contact to resolve this. Thanks

Complaint: I opened my mortgage loan with Greentree Financial in XX/XX/XXXX for a total of {$30000.00}. My interest rate was 12 %. The loan passed to the hands of XXXX, back to Greentree, then finally to Ditech. During the duration of my home loan, I did have financial issues resulting in placing several payments on the back of the loan, which I made interest payments on those payments at the time. I was forced to file Chapter XXXX in the late XX/XX/XXXX 's, which was discharged in XX/XX/XXXX, I believe. There were extra costs incurred by Greentree at this time regarding the bankruptcy. It was explained to me at the time that those costs were listed as Corporate advance on my statement. Which until a few months ago was in the amount of {$2900.00}. In XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX this amount decreased each month to currently {$2200.00}, I do not know why. I had contacted customer service several months ago to inquire about why my payments were still going mostly to the interest and not the principal. I never received an answer, when I asked what would happen when I made the last payment in XX/XX/XXXX of this year, I was told I would just keep paying. I then contacted an attorney to help this situation. After giving him my loan papers and the ammoritization of payments he instructed me to request binding arbitration, which I did in XX/XX/XXXX. This did nothing, except add {$700.00} to my XX/XX/XXXX payment. Ditech found fees from XX/XX/XXXX that had not been applied to my account. The customer service rep could not tell me what the fees are for. The only paperwork they have sent to my attorney was an ammoritization of payments, which he says does nothing to explain why I still owe 80 % of the loan amount 20 years later. I made the last contracted payment this past month, Ditech has reported to the credit bureaus that I am delinquent on my account. My attorney contacted me last week stating Ditech had sent him a letter informing him they were going to start foreclosure proceedings against me. I am not going to sign any paperwork to continue making payments on an amount I do not believe I owe. I did inform Ditech I would still be making payments equal to the house payment, towards the Corporate Advance amount. I believe I do probably owe extra regarding interest accrued for late payments, but I do not believe that amount to be {$21000.00}. I am at my wits end regarding this issue. When speaking to customer service I have asked for a supervisor, or a higher person to discuss this with, being told they would call me back. Those calls were never received. The only explanation I have received is it is late fees, the paperwork sent does not explain how Ditech has accrued this amount. Any help or information is greatly appreciated.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, we have a mortgage statement from XXXX XXXX XXXX showing mortgage was current and up to date. It was transferred to DiTech account # XXXX. All payments were made on time but starting in XX/XX/XXXX, DiTech began claiming that our payments were late. In XX/XX/XXXX, DiTech began reporting late payments to Credit Bureaus. We contacted DiTech again in XXXX to fix the problems on their end. My husband requested our payment history and went over dates checks cleared against their actual posting. It was a mess. They continued showing payments in arrears but we faxed and XXXX XXXX delivered paperwork from our bank of checks showing that all payments were made on time. We questioned their book keeping as to why this had not been better handled and why they hadn't fixed it yet. They were posting payments late but our cleared checks showed they were cashed on time by them. Finally on XX/XX/XXXX we received an email from their Customer Service Department stating that they had resolved the issue. But XX/XX/XXXX, we received another letter from them stating the account was running a month behind after we had already proven payments were all on time. So we were back at square one AGAIN. They transferred to another Mortgage company stating XXXX payment was not made but I had cancelled check that they cashed. I also emailed them on XX/XX/XXXX that I had record that they cashed check and to forward to new Company. They also were reporting derogatory information to credit bureaus which caused problems. This is very unfortunate that we had to constantly have to go back and forth with a company with such poor book keeping when handling customers ' money and that the customer has to prove that they were doing what they were supposed to. It's scary.

Complaint: One XX/XX/XXXX I completed a refi process with DITECH. Ditech created the deed of trust document with a recording # of XXXX. Now come XX/XX/XXXX I qualified for a revitialization program with the City of XXXX and upon closing, they needed the deed of trust, come to find out the deed of trust was never filed correctly from Ditech. I have been working with Ditech since last XX/XX/XXXX to get this issue fixed. As of the date of the complaint it has NOT been fixed yet and I now stand to loose the XXXX loan I qualified for to fix my house since the deed of trust is not recorded, nor is there a proper lien for Ditech. The City of XXXX can not move forward with all the work until this is fixed and I had contractors ready to work now I can't because of Ditech not fixing this deed of trust issue ... .please help!

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I started a messy divorce at the time my mortgage company was XXXX XXXX. I called and asked that the extend my mortgage so I could afford to pay it without my spouse, they said NO. I didn't even ask for any discounts or forgiveness. I bought my house high {$360000.00} now worth XXXX with now forgiveness offered. I was in the middle of a short sale when my soon to be ex-husband claimed bankruptcy. Cancelling my short sale. I let the house go because no one would help me. I decided later that I was going to fight harder. I moved back into my home that sat vacant for 3 years. My mortgage was sold 3 times at least. I started this process with many services, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( one of the rudest companies ever ) and XXXX XXXX. Once we were close to modifying my mortgage was sold again. Now with Ditech, I had to wait a very long time to start a modification. I did all the leg work. I sent in all my papers in XX/XX/XXXX. My modification trial started, I made all my payments ( which I feel should be less, currently @ {$2500.00} ). They did say they were slightly behind and instead of 3 mos it could take 5 or so. Now here we are XX/XX/XXXX I am still without modification papers, all payments made. I call there teams, its like speaking to a new employee ever time. Their loss mitigation dept does not speak to their foreclosure dept. Also in XX/XX/XXXX, the foreclosure dept sent my attorney Modification papers saying I neglected to sign them and if I didn't do it immediately the deal was off. I signed and forwarded and then called loss mitigation and said you never sent me papers and they stated the attorney should have never recieved those documents and they were invalid. I called this am, XX/XX/XXXX, I was now told they finally received the title chain they needed and were working on my papers ... ... Which may take 30 more days. I stated this is now unacceptable. These mortgage companies hold people hostage, make you feel like you are an irresponsible person ( which I am not ) and as if I am some how the only person to be held accountable. This system is outrageous, WHO PROTECTS ME?????????
I have a book with dates and calls and there were so many I stopped writing them all down, I have papers and papers I have worked on, at what point does someone protect me and people like me. I am not looking for a free ride, I have work hard my whole life and just want this process laid to rest. I am disgusted the government has not done more to help those responsible people who just had an unfortunate situation. I should be protected from this process, am I??????

Complaint: XX/XX/2017 Ditech 's Collection rep told me I had to be delinquent 90 days before I could apply for a Loan Modification, I told her that that wasn't true and she argued, so I asked for a supervisor to call me, that never happened. I called another time and the rep in Florida told me that the loan qualified for a no document modification, but then we never received anything regarding any type of modification, not even a payment plan, nothing. So besides our rights being violated in tying to miss leading me into not making any payments, I feel that statements should be accountable by the person 's representing the company and our loan should be modified to a 2 % fixed rate and forgivable default balance, and due to the lead, radon, plumbing, brown rockrose infestation and house foundation collapsing., that the principal should be lowered also. I've put 4 years in chasing all these problems I don't have money fore. I have found a few county programs that would help but I need these conditions meet before I move any further, its so hard to make a representative listen and understand the situation of a home owner in distress. The rep 's are only concerned about there bonuses that make there pay, I know this because I worked for GreenTree in the past, there are motivated by losing there pay down to minimum wage if they aren't good enough to collect with out foreclosing on hard working people that are going through a little bit of a hard time in there life.
