Complaint: My servicer Ditech whom I have made several complaints and they do respond with a person to contact - but when you call this person they NEVER call you back! We faxed over what they asked about being on this do not call list which we never put them on, and when we call we get the same statement saying oh you are on our do not call list. So to save our home we went through NJ hardest hit fund. Ditech was in touch with this program and we closed on XX/XX/XXXX. We were required to bring XXXX to closing and NJ hardest hit paid {$48000.00} to arrearage. We were told by NJ hardest hit fund and the closing company that this would bring us current and our first mortgage payment would be XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX and some odd cents. They told us Ditech would reach out to us with a reinstatement package ( that never happened ) never heard from them and when we called they stated we owed 2 months {$3700.00} saying we owed XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. We spoke with XXXX NJ NJ Hardest Hit fund and they said this was innacurate. When calling Ditech they give us no info telling us only one person deals with this and all they ever say is they are emailing him. NJ hardest hit fund had to get back involved and they called Ditech and they said they have to research. This is a Federal program and Ditech again is not doing the right thing. when I try to reach XXXX XXXX ext XXXX it is like she doesn't exist. Now we just received our statement for XX/XX/XXXX and it says we owe {$5700.00}. They are not complying with this program and pushing us behind again after a substantial payment was made. This is unacceptable the way they do business. I would like to know how they are going to investigate this, and where did the {$57000.00} get disbursed to. If my closing was XX/XX/XXXX why wouldn't XX/XX/XXXX payment be included, that is the end of the month. NJ hardest hit fund said ditech needs to follow protocol and so far they are not!

Complaint: I have a conventional mortgage with Ditech Financial, LLC located in XXXX XXXX, SD. Up until the summer of XXXX, it was a P & I loan only, with no escrows. I always paid my taxes and home owners insurance outside of the mortgage. In XXXX of XXXX, I entered into a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy. In XXXX of XXXX, Ditech arbitrarily raised my mortgage payment from {$1300.00} to {$1600.00} for purposes of collecting funds for escrow purposes. As I always paid my own taxes, I did not actually think this applied or perhaps was an error, and kept sending them my regular {$1300.00} payment. In XX/XX/XXXX, I got a letter from Ditech stating I was delinquent on monies owed them, and that I needed to send them just over {$8000.00}. This was about five days before XXXX! They had also turned the case over to National Bankruptcy Services who seemed to act as some third party agent for Ditech. For the most part, they would not share any information about what this matter was really all about. After several calls to them, I was able to learn that it all had to do with the extra money that Ditech was assuming to collect from me back in XX/XX/XXXX. A person there did admit it looked as though an error had been made on Ditech 's part and that they really didn't need any escrow money. I also contacted my county tax office and had them send me a copy of my paid bill with a check number showing that I had, in fact, paid the tax bill myself for XXXX. I sent a copy of this notice and a letter via certified mail to Ditech, the bankruptcy services company and a collection agency that had now also become involved. This week, I received a packet in the mail from Ditech showing some kind of payment history for me, which concluded with a letter stating I still owed them over {$7000.00}. Once again, I called Ditech and spoke with a girl there, and after an hour long conversation, she admitted that two payments made by Ditech for my taxes in XXXX had been reversed. Her only explanation given to me as to why Ditech still seemed to think I still owed them money was because I had not paid my taxes by the initial due date and that the taxing authority had notified Ditech of this. As a result, they again looked for escrow funds to cover the tax bill, even though I did end up paying it in full with my money. She said there was nothing she could do about the owed balance of {$7000.00}! So essentially, the bottom line of this story seems to be that Ditech is looking to collect money from me for tax bills they never paid. Unless, of course, the tax office simply took my money and Ditech 's and kept their mouth shut. Highly unlikely. As it is impossible to get through to anyone at Ditech who can truly understand this dilemma and think outside the box a little, I am protesting their claim for further payment. My position is, and always has been, that all I ever owed this company was my P & I mortgage payment, until I voluntarily added in extra money for tax escrow last summer.

Complaint: In the month of XX/XX/XXXX, I, XXXX XXXX, mailed in a check to of {$15000.00}, On the check memo I specified " principal balance '', I also made sure to mail to the corresponding PO BOX that was provided to me via customer service. I had been speaking to customer service about doing this weeks prior to avoid my funds being misapplied. It has been two weeks and I am still with customer service trying to have this misapplied credit be corrected. My funds are still being misapplied and this action needs to be corrected immediately. The funds were divided within monthly payment instead of my funds being applied to Principal Balance, although identified numerous times. I am getting the run around and this is time sensitive.

Complaint: To whom it may concern good afternoon I have a huge issue with Ditech XXXX account number of my loan is # XXXX The phone number is XXXX and their address is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Washington, XXXX XXXX United States On XX/XX/2017 I had to call Ditech XXXX to found out what my pay off is, they told me a payoff of {$1800.00} they also told me that the company policy I could not make the payment like I normally do on the computer or online I would have to mail my check with the payoff letter that they were going to send me in the email to a different location office on XXXX XXXX in XXXX Illinois the letter that they sent me was generated on XX/XX/XXXX I got the letter in the mail I cut a check for {$1800.00} for the pay off amount which you would see in my evidence file Im forwarding to you come to found out on XXXX XXXX the second day they generated the payoff letter my payoff had increase because they decided to pay my property taxes for XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX when they got my {$1800.00} check they never cashed it, I got call from them In the middle of XXXX telling me that I was delinquent on my mortgage when I question why so they told me that the payoff had changed I ask them why did not you and please cash the check I wouldnt of been late on my XXXX payment plus I never instructed you to pay my taxes after me paying off the whole loan with you We have no more business to conduct together they kept telling me that they will have a manager contact me and XXXX this matter out never heard from anyone what there are trying to do to me now Is ruining my life and Report to the credit agenciesmy XXXX payment is late Please I need you help this is a company if you look them up they are currently under two different class action lawsuit because what they did to me they did it to many other consumers I have paid these people XXXX payments perfectly on time never missed one in at the last payment they trying to my life Please please help me I was not late on the last payment in the evidence you would see a copy of my check

Complaint: I am making a formal complaint against my mortgage servicer due to the negligent practices in handling my loan. I had a financial hardship about a year ago and fell behind on payments. I called my mortgage servicer numerous times to find out what I could do to help bring the loan current. I was never told about modification options available and I am now facing foreclosure with a pending sale date of XX/XX/18. I had one modification done several years back and was completely unaware that I may apply for another one. I believe my mortgage hold intentionally withheld this information until it was too late for me to apply. My property has equity and I am now being told there is nothing I can do to save my home except cure the full past due amount of {$14000.00}. I was never sent any documentation regarding hardship programs. I was not given any helpful information over the phone or offered the time to speak with someone regarding my hardship except to make payments. I am now working my regular job and can not afford to loose my home. I am requesting that Ditech Financial stops or postpones the sale date and allow me the opportunity that I was denied to cure my account with a modification.

Complaint: Ditech Financial messed up and incorrectly figured the property taxes in our escrow. Because of this, they refunded us around {$3000.00} a year ago and lowered our monthly payment. This year, they expect us to be able to not only make up for the shortage ( {$2100.00} ) they caused when miscalculating, but they want us to cover and additional {$3500.00} " cushion '' they've decided needs to be in the escrow. This raises our mortgage payment by over {$800.00} per month for a year, which isn't possible for us to do. I spoke to several people and none was willing to do anything. My feeling is that they should have to eat their mistake and I can make up the shortage of {$2100.00} over the next year. Can anyone help us?

Complaint: They keep returning my checks and won't give me instructions to reinstate despite their letters saying to call to get details about reinstatement. They've held previous checks for 3-4 weeks and returned them uncashed. They then sent me to their attorney after no one answered calls or gave me instructions to which I wrote the following with supporting documentation. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX XXXX : Ditech Account # XXXX Dear Sir or Madame : I have been attempting to get my account caught up to date for over two months to no avail. After having my third check for the full amount due returned to me after being held for almost four weeks, I am thoroughly frustrated and feel that reaching out to you is my last attempt. I will be copying the XXXX XXXX XXXX as well as the FTC regarding what is going on. I simply need instructions on how to get my account current, which Ive been trying to do since XX/XX/XXXX to no avail. I have not been able to reach anyone by telephone, and no one will provide the instructions to me via email or letter, which is requested so I can have this matter resolved. In my last correspondence via the website, I was told the check had to be certified. In anticipation of getting the final amount ( which I still didnt receive, but for which I was now sent a request from my bank for $ XXXX because the amount on the website currently says {$8100.00} ). I need to know specific instruction of where and how to send this cashiers check and assurances in writing that it will not be returned to me as the past three checks have been returned. I suffered a XXXX at work a while back and am now trying to get back on my feet. Please assist me with wrapping up this ordeal and reinstatement of my account. Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX Ditech Mortgage Co increased my monthly payment. I was never notified of this, they had a wrong address on file, but they did have my correct telephone number and no one tried to call. The mortgage company process will not post a lesser amount as a payment, they just hold on to it, by XXXX, they sent a report to the credit bureaus for 30 days delinquent. As soon as I was aware of the situation I called and made a payment and ask them to work with me and reconsider the credit report, I was unaware of the increase and I sent in a payment every month since XX/XX/XXXX. The contact on the phone stated they could not help me. I requested to speak with a supervisor and after a long wait I was transferred to a recording. I left contact information, but no one every returned my calls. Please help me work with the mortgage company to remove the delinquency from my account, I never missed a payment and I know have lost over 100 point from my Credit Score and it will remain on my account till XX/XX/XXXX. THis just is not right please help me.
