Complaint: Ditech did not address my complaint. - Ditech did not accommodate the mandatory hurricane relief for victims of Hurricane Irma, even upon my phone request. Complaint ID XXXX - Ditech made an unprecedented payment on my behalf, without my authorization or request, to an insurance company and has not refunded the payment and is charging interest on the payment account. - Ditech sent loan modification documentation offering 3 options to which I was supposed to apply if interested. On 3 occasions I called and stated I was not interested, and had even expressed I did not want the modification prior to them sending me the information, and they enrolled me in the new program anyway, and have not settled the extra expenses I incurred due to their negligence. - Ditech did not apply the payments I made to my account, and instead has held funds while allowing interest and fees to accumulate on my account.

Complaint: I had my home insured thru mortgage co ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). Coverage effective from XX/XX/XXXX thru XX/XX/XXXX. Name of insurance co. was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX insured home with XXXX XXXX XXXX. called XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX on same day and cancelled their policy. Well I worked at XXXX XXXX. for 20 years so I knew I was due a refund..I went back and forth with Green tree in reference to my refund and they told me that they do not give refunds..I filed a complaint with NC Insurance Comm. on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XXXX was assigned complaint. XXXX XXXX contacted Green Tree and XX/XX/XXXX received my refund of XXXX..Well Green Tree added XXXX to my regular mortgage payment and I have been going back and forth with them trying to get them to remove XXXX because they are saying my mortgage is past due since XX/XX/XXXX, and this is not so. I was going to file another complaint with NC Insurance Comm. but they said I need to file the complaint with your office. I really hope you can help resolve this issue, because it has been stressing me out since XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: We purchased our home in XX/XX/XXXX. At the time I was an XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX undergoing multiple deployments to XXXX and XXXX and my family was living on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The family was under a great deal of stress because our military quarters were directly on the landing approach for F-14s, which flew over the house at low altitude several times a day. Shortly after moving into our new home the home we discovered hidden termite damage that had to be repaired immediately. We took out a home equity loan from Ditech to pay for the work. The contract was signed on signed in XX/XX/XXXX, for a 25 year loan at 13.89 % actuarial interest. The original loan amount was {$77000.00}, and my payments were {$950.00} a month. Along with my primary mortgage, my monthly payments total {$2700.00}. Although this has been crippling financially, I have paid that amount every month since, and have never missed a payment-. I have paid Ditech roughly {$140000.00} in this period, and my current loan balance is {$68000.00}. In XX/XX/XXXX the value of the home dropped, and with our combined mortgages I have owed more than the home is worth every since. When I checked in late XX/XX/XXXX, the estimated value of the home was roughly {$310000.00}. Since moving in, we had another child, and the home was too small for our family, but we had no real options to move out. It gets worse. Ditech approached me earlier this year and offered to loan me {$350000.00} to consolidate both of my mortgages at 4.125 % interest, which would lower our total payments to roughly {$2000.00}. We were within a week of closing when we discovered serious termite damage in the home, and realized that the termite inspection report provided by our pest control company was fraudulent. Knowing that this was illegal and unethical, I stopped the refi process while we determined the extent of the damage. Surprisingly, my Ditech loan processor encouraged me to continue with the loan, citing that no one would ever know about the report. Even after I explained that I planned to not occupy the home as my primary residence and would therefore not be eligible for a refi loan, Ditech encouraged me to close the loan. Through this experience I learned that Ditech has not only taken advantage of me and placed my family in serious financial hardship from the beginning, but they were willing to place me in legal jeopardy. Through this entire experience I have met my obligations and dutifully my payments, hoping that I would be able to pay this loan down enough to get out from under it. They make it difficult to navigate their website and find pertinent information, and they are predatory in their practices

Complaint: This company has reported to IRS and credit bureau that they lost {$4900.00} in the short sale and this is not true. I paid Greentree in the short sale and nothing was suppose to be reported as this was due to my spouse XXXX overseas and we had to sale the house. We were paying them as agreed. They also reported to IRS XXXX as debt lost and earn income of {$4900.00} which is not true. Greentree got the bulk of their money so no XXXX should have been reported to IRS. We went under the SCRA, relief act for XXXX XXXX military. We provided Greentree with XXXX to overseas. They went back on their word. Now this new company that has merge with Greentree has report incorrect information that is affecting my credit and my taxes for 2015. XXXX XXXX XXXX from Ditech responded to first compliant but did nothing to address the miss information that was reported. Please have her call or email me so I can get correct. Thanks

Complaint: I've been working with my mortgage servicing company asking them to offer the investor a negotiated settlement. I've written a few letters to the servicer, Ditech Financial sharing my rationale but Im told that as a matter of policy that's not shared. They, Ditech, simply make an offer to the investor and, neither negotiate in good faith on my behalf nor present my " side of the story '' as it were. Alas, I dont believe they are representing my interests. I'd covet help from the CFPB to have the servicer take a more active and productive in role in getting my offer - with supporting documentation - to the investor. Additionally, I've been asking for nearly a year to get all interest payment data and total progress on paying down my principal balance and Ditech has been generally unresponsive and what they've provided has been insufficient. So, here again Ditech Financial demonstrates a slowness to respond and is generally less that competent when they do. Frustrating.

Complaint: I am writing again in hopes you can keep a hard-working single mother and her son in their home. I have been battling to keep afloat and a house above our heads for some very stressful, heartbreaking months. I submitted a claim to you before and yet again, Ditech is not doing what they should. I am a XXXX, and like I said already, single mother in a situation I am trying desperately to work out of. We got behind on our mortgage, due in large part to a predatory loan and fees that were added but never really explained to me. I was switched between one agent and another, and thought I was finally getting ahead because my file for a modification was in review. But when I called most recently to check in with Ditech, I found out my house is still in foreclosure! I am very clear on the fact that they can not have me in active foreclosure and in active review, which is in violation of the dual-tracking law.

Complaint: An investment property was purchased through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In Closing, they provided a document titled " Private Mortgage Insurance Disclosure '' that declares that Automatic Termination of PMI will happen on XX/XX/XXXX ( so long as I was current, which I was ). At some point, the loan was sold to Ditech who has been servicing it for several years. Despite numerous calls to Ditech and Ditech even locating this original XXXX XXXX XXXX document ( and then Ditech requesting me to send a copy to them ), Ditech has repeatedly stated that " since they consider it an investment property, they don't allow PMI to stop until the 50 % mark, which is scheduled to be XX/XX/XXXX. '' That's a changing of the terms under which I got the loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. Since XX/XX/XXXX, Ditech has proceeded to illegally collect, keep, and hold {$1800.00} ( to date : XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ) of my money for the purpose of PMI, that was by loan origination with XXXX XXXX XXXX, supposed to automatically terminate. I'd like a refund of this overcollection. I've tried to work through the Ditech Escrow Department several times, and continue to simply get " we consider it investment property, and the PMI will thus be removed on XX/XX/XXXX ''. This is a CHANGE IN LOAN TERMS that I understand to be illegal.

Complaint: My husband became ill in XXXX and we subsequently obtained a home equity loan in order to help pay some of his medical bills. We were able to continue making payments without compromising our other bills until he passed away on XX/XX/XXXX. I have been trying to sell the home ; however, I have not been able to secure a contract for its sale and I am struggling to make the payments now that I no longer have my husband 's income. I have tried numerous times to contact ditech at the number provided on its statement ( XXXX XXXX, but only wind up being placed on hold for hours on end only to either become disconnected or remain on hold for eternity. I'm at my wits end at this point and don't know what to do ; however, I will not be able to make any more payments on this loan. I really need to speak to someone at ditech to either modify this payment or assist in someway. Complaint: I am trying to refinance ; I locked in a rate over a week ago. I currently have my mortgage through Ditech. The title company requested a pay off quote from Ditech 2 weeks ago. Nothing was received. I called Ditech on XX/XX/18 for the payoff and they said 3-5 business days. We have called them daily, no payoff. In addition to the title company and new lender calling daily, I called yesterday and spoke to XXXX and explained the situation yet again, she was escalating to her supervisor and would get the document sent over yesterday. We still dont have it. I attempted to print it online but it said a payoff is not available for my account. My new rate is expiring.

Complaint: I refinaced my home in 2016 with Ditech. I was promised a much lower payment. Which how I got that lower payment is an issue I found out at the end of this year. In 2016 I was paying {$640.00} a month in escrow. I even got an escrow refund of {$440.00} dollars because they made it seem like I overpaid. Did not really stop to think about it. The new mortgage they charged {$420.00} for escrow even though nothing changed in my taxes or homeowners that they were aware of. So come the end of this year I have a {$2400.00} escrow shortage. Which will bring my payment back up to where I was before the refinance. The only reason I can see for them charge so much less escrow when the bills were the same was to keep the promise of a lower payment for 1 year and now my payment goes up XXXX a month. XXXX for the escrow I should have been paying and XXXX more for the escrow that I am backed up. I feel that was a deceptive practice to try and convince me to go ahead with the refinance because my previous mortgage was discharged in bankruptcy.

Complaint: I thought the issue was on it's way to a resolution when I received from Ditech, a Mortgage Assistance Application. After getting what was needed to send out with said application, it was sent out. Yesterday a lady came by my home and stated she was a representative for XXXX XXXX. From what I can remember, the first mortgage note was through XXXX XXXX ; later I received notice that the mortgage note had been sold or bought to/by Green Tree. Later, I received notice that the note had been sought, sold or transferred over to Ditech. Since then any letters received have been under Ditech. To have that visit from the lady yesterday, bothered, confused and frightened me, because I believed I was dealing exclusively with Ditech and the name XXXX XXXX has never been mentioned in any manner. I informed the lady that my dealings have been solely with Ditech for many years then and to the present. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. As mentioned, it was disconcerting to now have something new come up. Thank you for your assistance. XXXX XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I contacted Ditech on XXXX regarding my account statement from XX/XX/XXXX, it shows Fire Insurance Coverage. Unfortunately, I tried to email customer service but the representative gave me an invalid email address..I never requested/authorized for fire insurance service. I have a personal loan for this account. In the past, Ditech reported this account as a mortgage loan. I did dispute with credit bureaus. I would an investigation for this issue. 1 ) Was I charged for this service? If so, how much was the monthly fee? 2 ) If so, when did service begin and end? Did it begin in XXXX after XXXX transfer? 3 ) How could this error occur?
