Complaint: They refuse payment and under such hardship circumstances they refuse forbearance option, Overcharged and fees and charges and change the payment amount and even though overpaid almost 3 years and asked for it to be applied towards principle it never was and then they would not give me a list of all charges and fees applied on the account after one 30 day late because they refuse the payment They refuse a partial payment and I believe started foreclosure process and I believe the VA guarantee paid however Ditech will not respond to requests Verbally over the phone nor written request. I have given them six written notices.

Complaint: On my correspondence to the credit bureaus last XX/XX/XXXX, I disputed how this account is still reporting despite the following : - Collecting and pursuing collection on an account that is way passed the statute of limitation. - Collecting and reporting an account that has been sold several times to different companies. ; - Collecting debt on an account that they dont have lien which I believed made this invalid.- Collecting debt on an account that they dont have lien which I believed made this invalid. ; - From the original Lender to the succeeding companies who acquired and transferred/sold the account I NEVER receive any notification that there has been any sale or transfer from one company/lender to another. I never received anything back from this company nor from any of the credit bureaus. I only received a response from XXXX that the item has been removed but, this invalid item is still reporting to XXXX and XXXX. DITECH ref # XXXX.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I called my mortgage company Ditech due to my bill payment. After they resolved my bill payment problem, they solicit me and told me about refinancing my mortgage. The representative told me about the program and asked a few questions and asked me if I would be interested. I said yes. They sent me papers to sign electronically, didn't disclose the interest rate or anything in detail, just general questions. Next think I receive a credit report in the mail. Ditech pulled my credit without my knowledge. The representative did not ask me if it was OK to pull my credit. They had all my personal information and I guess they felt it was not necessary to ask. I would have told the representative not to pull my credit. He sent me paperwork to sign a refinance and if I would have gone through the paperwork, I would have done something I did not authorize. They continue to send me paperwork with urgency to sign. This is not the way to treat consumers.

Complaint: My mortgage is serviced through Ditech. I have PMI on my mortgage. I performed a substantial amount of work on the home and I called Ditech to ask what the procedure is to remove the PMI due to increased value of the home. The representative stated that I needed to order an appraisal and forward it to an email address she provided. I specifically asked if I could order the appraisal myself and she stated that was their procedure. I informed her that I was having an appraisal done by another lender as part of a HELOC application and I asked if could use that appraisal and she said absolutely. I submitted the appraisal as instructed and was called a day later by Ditech informing me that they could not use the appraisal as they need to order the appraisal. When I pointed out that this was in direct conflict with the information I was given the representative acknowledged that I was given the wrong information and promised to escalate the issue to her supervisor for an exception. I got a call today ( 4 days later ) informing me that they can not use the appraisal and would be willing to reimburse me for the cost of the appraisal if I provided them a bank statement showing the appraisal fee being paid from my account. This is not satisfactory as I want to eliminate my monthly PMI of {$100.00} per month and I followed the protocol they provided.

Complaint: I am a customer of direct who offered me 90 days modification during hurricane Irma. I made XXXX and XXXX payments on time but the XX/XX/XXXX payment I attempted to pay but their office was closed and their automated system will not accept my payment. I then attempted to schedule a payment on the last day of XX/XX/XXXX however their office was closed again. Their documents states their office is opened on Saturdays however the system stated the office was closed. I called customer service and they stated my modification will be denied since I did not make the XXXX payment on time. They did not offer any more options. What do I do I'm this case??

Complaint: I have a loan with DITECH FINANCIAL LLC. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting both XXXX and DITECH FINANCIAL LLC with no successful resolution. XXXX was the only one reporting me late. There was definitely an error on their part. I was never 30 days late XX/XX/XXXX 2017.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX we received a letter from Ditech financial stating we were behind on our escrow. I contacted the company to find out what was going on, as my husband is a XXXX, we do not pay property taxes. I was assured that everything would be fine and the tax department would look through the paperwork again and fix the problem. By XXXX we were receiving nasty letters stating that we were behind on a payment- we have NEVER missed a payment, we pay a little extra on our payments. We have spent HOURS almost weekly since XXXX trying to find out what is going on with our account. XX/XX/XXXX we were sent a check for the extra payment in the escrow. We called multiple times to find out if the check was correct. Everyone we spoke to said the information was correct and the check was overages in the escrow. The amount of the check was approximately {$1800.00}. Ditech finally got read the correct paperwork showing that we didn't pay property taxes, however, since that time we have been receiving letters stating that we are behind a payment. As I stated earlier, we have never missed a payment, or been late on a payment. Every time we call we get the run around, and no one seems to know why there is a payment missing or where it is. We end up having to go through the ENTIRE 6 months of calls with the person we speak to, there have been no notes kept on the account. We are now getting letters threatening to enter pre-foreclosure. Our loan is a VA loan, which threatens the ability to get another VA loan in the future. I have spoken to others with Ditech and they have had the same experiences we are having. I have sent letters and made phone calls, with no response from Ditech. This has dropped my husbands credit score by more than 100 points, we can't even trade in our vehicles due the problems they are causing. At this point I don't know what to do, especially if we can't get help resolving the matter.
