Complaint: My mortgage was with XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX previously modified my mortgage but in 2016 they adjusted the payment higher which caused me to miss two payments. XXXX XXXX XXXX then transferred my mortgage to Ditech who agreed to modify my mortgage again and bring the payments back to where they were before XXXX XXXX XXXX 's increase. The problem is that after Ditech modified my mortgage, they never updated the mortgage to current. Even though Ditech never reported on my credit report, they serviced my mortgage as if the modification ( with the exception of the payment ) was never completed and as a result, when Ditech transferred my mortgage to XXXX, they reported my mortgage to XXXX as 90 days late when in fact I was 30 days late.

Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Complaint: I previously made a complaint to the CFPB onXX/XX/XXXX against Ditech Financial LLC f/n/a XXXX XXXX XXXX which is same company with different name. What they did before reporting information to the CFPB was change my credit reports which I reported XXXX where they had me in repossession as of XX/XX/XXXXtoXX/XX/XXXX and it was also on my XXXX report. I never made a payment inXX/XX/XXXX because the monthly billing statment said I was past due with billing for XX/XX/XXXX and for for XX/XX/XXXX, which I never received was double the amount that they provided to the CFPB which showed a past due amount bill XX/XX/XXXXwhen my payment wasn't due til the XXXX per my promissory note, because they were relentless in harrassing me on a daily basis. I disputed the information with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and with XXXX which I believe was on the same day which Ditech Financial Refused to change. On my XXXX report it shows last payment on XX/XX/XXXX but under payments it shows I made a payment inXX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX it shows Date of 1st DeliquencyXX/XX/XXXX and Date Maj Del. 1st Rptd on XX/XX/XXXXso they are trying to keep this on my report for 8 years. Does Ditech Financial LLC not understand the law that it starts from the first on XXXX it shows XX/XX/XXXX being paid. In XX/XX/XXXX, Ditech Financial sent me a set of spreadsheet and IRS documents. I just found all my paperwork. Since the CFPB does nothing but collect documents and take the word of creditor and close the complaint without question, I am contacting the FBI Crime Fraud Unit which will investigate with IRS as you call charge offs. Your spreadsheets don't match up with my all of my paperwork which means you have been defrauding the government and writing off more than you should be which includes other people. Aren't you aware of the law that once a property is foreclosed on and becomes the property of XXXX XXXX etc., and the time starts from the 1st delinquency and comes off after 7 years from that date. Also, when the property was put in different name through XXXX, the notary on my assignment through XXXX XXXX XXXX in Florida was a fraudulent signature. I got a copy of the notary signature through the state of Florida for XXXX XXXX, MA, and they don't match. So I will be reporting this to the appropriate government entity in Florida against XXXX XXXX. If the FBI won't investigate it, I'm going to a t.v. station in XXXX XXXX, Ca. Maybe I'll see you in court or maybe not. I was sick of Green Tree Servicing and now I'm sick of Ditech Financial with all your lies. I would like to know why my whole credit report changed when Ditech Financial took over which I have proof of. I'm not going to provide the documents because you already have them. I will have every person you made a loan to and/or servicing requesting every document on their loan through Ditech Financial LLC, and I'll make sure they don't get the run around like you gave me last year and you never gave me any of the documents I requested last year.

There is simply no excuse for refusing a modification process in the past, and now there is more than sufficient income to validate a modification with a forbearance agreement. I am also requesting a fully detailed qualified written request, under my rights with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Complaint: I have had nothing but problems with Ditech. I had a loan modification while I was injured and not working. Which was in it self a very taxing experience.they lowered it XXXX dollars for a while and then without notifying me raised it back to original payment and turned it into a new 30 year loan without my concent. I was already 20 years into my loan.also they stated I was short in my escrow account and raised my payments. And now they have notified me again Im short and I need to pay them again. In 20 years of my loan this never happened with other mortgage companies until Ditech took over. Please help me.

Complaint: I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX from Ditch/XXXX XXXX about interest on my home in which I added to my chapter XXXX bankruptcy case number XXXX which was discharged in XX/XX/XXXX. I wrote you previously about this company stating that I owed them XXXX on a home that was discharged in my chapter XXXX bankruptcy. I filed case number XXXX with you and you made them send me my deed to my home. Now they are stating that I owe this much interest on my home and trying to send XXXX XXXX an interest statement for this XXXX. I am on social security XXXX and do not file taxes on my income. I talked to my attorney and they gave me advice to file taxes in which I do not have to file taxes being XXXX. I have never paid this much interest on the home in one year, since I have been living in the home. I believe this is bogus and this new company is trying to collect for XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am filing this complaint to get them to stop collecting from me.

Complaint: Dear Sirs : I made my mortgage payment that was due on XX/XX/2018 on XX/XX/2018. Copy of that payment notification is attached. Ditech has not posted this payment to my account to reflect that the payment was made. They created a statement on XX/XX/XXXX reflecting that the payment is due on XX/XX/2018, attached I called during the week of XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/XXXX and was directed to the servicing department who stated that they would fix the issue and that i would receive an E-mail to that affect. I received an E-mail that the problem had been fixed and was directed to go to the web site. I went to my account on the web site and nothing had changed. I called the week of XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX and was told that there was a computer issue and that i would receive a statement. This has not happened as of this note to CPFB

Complaint: Nature of Complaint : Payment Processing /Escrow Account with Ditech Mortgage Facts : On XX/XX/XXXX, we received an Escrow Analysis for our Escrow Account, with Ditech Mortgage , stating that our account had a shortage of {$490.00}. We paid this shortage in full on XX/XX/XXXX. Mortgage payment then remained the same as it had prior to the shortage. On XX/XX/XXXX ( 7 months later ), we received another Escrow Analysis for our Escrow Account, with Ditech Mortgage ( same account ), stating that our account had a shortage of {$2200.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Ditech and asked for an explanation and a review of our account as we had just trued up our Escrow Account 7 months prior. I was told a supervisor would call me back. Supervisor never called back. XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX mortgage payments were made on time and for the same amount as prior months payments. On XX/XX/XXXX, we received a letter in the mail stating that our XXXX Mortgage payment was not received in full ( meaning with shortage amount ) and that there was a late fee now of {$77.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Ditech and asked for explanation of late fee b/c we had sent in our XXXX Mortgage payment on time. I was told because it was not paid in full ( shortage amount added on ) that my payment ( previously considered a full payment ) was now BEING HELD IN SUSPENSE STATUS. And therefore our mortgage payment was considered late. I explained that my account was under review because we were questioning the large shortage amount. Ditech said it didnt matter. I asked for supervisor received a voicemail on the transfer and I left a message requesting a call back. Supervisor never called back. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Ditech. Spoke with representative who placed our account on a 36 month payment plan so that we would pay back a portion of the escrow shortage each month and not have future Regular Monthly Mortgage payments be considered late. This will buy us some time to figure out the source of the shortage amount without constant late penalty and ding to our credit. Representative could not explain to me why our account had a deficiency. Representative said it was the County Treasurer telling them how much to collect for projected taxes and that I should call the County Treasurer. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called the County Treasurer and County Assessor. Taxes for our home actually went down in XX/XX/XXXX assessment. Representative at County Treasurer office told me they would never give a number for projected XX/XX/XXXX tax amount because amounts can change due to levies. These tax payments are reflected in our escrow payment history. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Ditech, and asked for them to run another Escrow Analysis to explain to me how a {$2000.00} shortage came to be after we paid a shortage amount in XX/XX/XXXX. Representative couldnt explain deficit. Supervisor was busy and couldnt talk to me. I was told to call back in 30 -60 minutes. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called our homeowners insurance company and verified all of the payments made to our policy by Ditech for the last three years. From XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX premiums due, there was only a {$250.00} difference in the cost of our policy. On XX/XX/XXXX, we received a letter from Ditech stating that we have been assigned an account representative. I called Ditech and tried to reach representative. I did not speak with him. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Ditech and requested to speak with Supervisor. Representative placed a request for supervisor to call me back. Supervisor never called back. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Ditech. I finally spoke with a supervisor. She said she would run an analysis and call me back on the findings. Supervisor never called back. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Ditech and asked to speak to the same Supervisor that I spoke with on XX/XX/XXXX. I was sent to her voicemail. I left a message asking for her to call me back. Supervisor never called back. On XX/XX/XXXX, I have filed this complaint with you because I am frustrated with the lack of response and knowledge regarding this issue. We are happy to pay any amount that we legally owe but we would like to know why we owe it. From the first day of our inquiry over 3 months ago, I have yet to speak to anyone who can explain to me why we owe {$2200.00} as a shortage on our Escrow Account, seven months after paying a previous shortage of {$490.00}. Our homeowners insurance and our real estate taxes have not changed enough to warrant this type of shortage. We would like to have an answer from the company who manages this account. In three months time, I have never received a phone call back from Ditech. All inquiries have been initiated by us. We are frustrated and do not understand why they aren't able to provide justification for a shortage such as this. Also, when there is a " disputed amount in question, '' the holding of regular payments " in suspense '' and not giving the customer credit for paying the undisputed amount on time, seems to be unethical. Is this business practice a violation of any consumer protection laws?

Complaint: I filed a complaint on this website about a 30 day late payment and the company responded that I wasnt ever 30 days late. I asked Ditech to update my credit reports back in XX/XX/XXXX and as of today XX/XX/2018 nothing was updated. My credit is seriously impacted by this 30 day late on my credit report. I was denied opening up a new account today because of my 30 days late being reported.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX receives automatic monthly payments from XXXX for a mortgage. Ditech changed payment amount without proper notice. After receiving a monthly payment of {$3700.00} on XX/XX/2018, they still assessed a late payment of {$61.00} despite of the due date being XX/XX/2018. Ditech received and cashed the payment 2 days early and assessed a late fee. Ditech is to adjust the bill and remove the late fee.

Complaint: I paid 3 different companies to do a modification of about {$3500.00} and also try to modify with green tree they had me bring my mortgage up with I did, still didn't get it they pressure me to move so they sell the house, my wife and I lose 4 year of mortgage payment at XXXX + and my credit rating hurt us that follow us for 8 year. {$67000.00} down the drain, we just got the letter from you all with a {$10.00} check that really hurt after all the money we lost XXXX, m put it in XXXX hands and yours.
