Complaint: The company letterhead known as " ditech Home Loans '' has been sending letters trying to collect a debt that was and is not ours.They have been called and I have told them that we never had a loan or mortgage with them. They then say that they bought our mortgage from XXXX XXXX and again we told them that I never heard of that company nor had any financial doings with a company of that name. Our mortgage was settled with payment in full back in 2013 and was not with either of the complaining companies. I have been a victim of identity theft and this is being reported to my already damaged credit.The letteres that they are sending are coming on a monthly basis and when I call them I get nothing but excuses and more fake information, even being vulgar at most times.Please help me stop this harassment.

Complaint: I originated a loan with XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX for a conventional 360 fix with twenty percent downpayment the monthly payment is XXXX for a cooperative apartment. This did not require an escrow account for taxes and insurance. Then the loan was sold on XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX. Then transferred to ( Greentree mortgage ) who requested a copy of my homeowner 's insurance policy, in XX/XX/XXXX. which I provided. Then ( Ditech ) became the Servicer for Greentree. who requested the homeowner 's policy starting in XX/XX/XXXX as well. I provided them the policy, then they requested a copy of the Structural insurance policy, ( the Master Plan policy ) which after tracking down the co-op board to request their policy, it was sent to Ditech as stated, to assign them as the mortgagee. In the early part of XX/XX/XXXX. However, Ditech continues to bill me for this insurance policy regardless of, and they are applying my mortgage payments to this force-insurance policy, and they are saying, we are behind on our mortgage payment and reporting it to the credit report as such. They have been documenting my credit report since XX/XX/XXXX as non-payments ' which I clearly told Ditech, that this is a Co-op, which the co-op corporation is responsible for this master policy. I was in Bankruptcy since XX/XX/XXXX and was discharged on XX/XX/XXXX. Ditech was sending all my documents to the bankruptcy attorney and still continue to send all their correspondence to them today. I've been dealing with this issue with no avail. and at this point, Ditech has stopped accepting my mortgage payments as of XX/XX/XXXX. I called them to see why they haven't cashed the checks ' XXXX at Ditech couldn't answer as to why but stated over the conversation as it doesn't matter your in foreclosure since XX/XX/XXXX. Anyway, I am confused, if I've been making my mortgage payments, how can you have me in foreclosure status. Can you please help to resolve this issue as you can see I have been trying to solve this since XX/XX/XXXX, with no avail.

Complaint: This should be a very simple request but, it has been a complete nightmare. I am in the final stages of closing on a refinance loan with another loan company. I have a HUD government loan that will be forgive providing, I have not been late on the loan.
XX/XX/2018, I requested my payment history from Ditech. Ditech has sent the printout for my payments from XXXX to present in-which, I have NOT been late.
Here in lies the problem ... .There is a UAF / Susp field on the printout. The HUD loan processor denied the loan, thinking they are late charges. I asked Ditech to send a Verification Mortgage Letter that clearly shows that there are NOT, and has not been any late charges. The HUD loan processor needs a letter to state just that and will not except a conference call ONLY a DOCUMENTED LETTER.
Ditech tells me we CAN NOT!! send a letter like that explaining the UAF / Susp field. We can only send the mortgage verification letter. I don't know why a letter can not and will not be created to explain that this UAF /Susp field has nothing to do with my account!!!
I am suppose to close in 3 weeks and have been struggling to get a letter. I have called and written to corporate and still NOTHING!! I just need the letter to state I have never been late and the UAF / Susp has nothing to do with me. No one will create this letter. What company can not create a letter to explain the field. I am beyond despondent!!!!

Complaint: My current mortgage is with Ditech. They have missing payments on my account when they found the {$6000.00} mistake they want me to pay all the late fees on the money they missed placed. They said they bounced a bunch of checks which I have not. And now I am facing foreclosure they will not take my money according to their attorney I am actually not in foreclosure. They overcharge my percentage rate and I have been on making homes affordable for several years. Their customer service is extremely horrible And extremely XXXX and no one is willing to help. I have all my documentations and I want to save my home. Ditech is the worst company and I have been bought out by several different mortgage is starting with XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX and now Ditech. Which in fact they put me on the no call list so nobody can call me I do not get any sort of monthly statements in the mail. I need help because Id like to save my mortgage Ive owned my home for 14 years I have all my documentations and I want to save my home. Complaint: My loan was sold from XXXX to Ditech XX/XX/2018. My insurance and taxes are escrowed into my monthly home insurance payment. I received a notice from my Homeowners insurance company on XX/XX/XXXX that the Insurance invoice had not yet been paid.
I contacted DiTech immediately XX/XX/XXXX. During the call I provided the name to the insurance company, insurance phone number, account number, and insurance agent phone number. ( Which I could already see was visible on my account profile online. ) The representative assured the payment would be made immediately. Yesterday XX/XX/XXXX, I receive another letter from the insurance and mortgage company that the bill was not paid. I contacted XXXX ( Insurance ) and they confirmed my insurance was pending cancellation.
This morning XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted the Insurance Agent who advised I would need to pay XXXX to reinstate the insurance. She advised she had heard NOTHING from Ditech and was unaware a statement was required. DITECH has my money and has caused a lapse in homeowners and additional funds that needed to be paid.
I demand to remove escrow and get full refunds for all funds paid to reinstate.

Complaint: Our home was severely damaged during hurricane Florence. Our flood insurance went into effect and we received the insurance check for {$86000.00}. The check was issued to us and DITECH. We endorsed the check and mailed it to Ditech as requested by Ditech. Ditech received the money on XX/XX/2018. All paperwork has been submitted to Ditech that was required of us as homeowners. Per Ditech, the check has been issued and is to be sent to use for need repairs. We have yet to receive the check at this time after several time frames and delays have been stated by ditech. Our XXXX has started good faith repairs and has since had to reschedule do to the hardship of lack of payment. My family and myself are currently residing in a camper as our home is unfit for habitation, these delays have been truly inconvenient and unnecessary. Such delays have increased the exposure time of our home to hazards ie mold and mildew, increaseing further repairs and damages. Ditechs lack of communication and release of funds provided by our insurance company, has cause increased time frame for completion of repairs and possible loss of acquired XXXX.
Any assistance that can be rendered for this current situation would be helpful, we do not know what other routes to take to return to our home.

Complaint: I have previously requested for GreenTree-Ditech to provide direction to the obligees as to the handling of payments upon liquidation or sale of the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have reason to believe that such liquidation or sale will be forthcoming. To date I have never received any such direction.
The over-riding question is why is Green Tree-Ditech still allowed to service my loan? Why hasn't my loan been reasigned to a company with liquidity and staff sufficient and adequate to perform the stated public offering?
Green Tree-Ditech is in breach of its own loan covenents. Perusal of its open positions indicates that it is unable to hire staff. Green Tree-Ditech has been untimely in the filing of its SEC periodic reports. The monthly billing statements continue to be irregular with respect to the dates on which these statements are received by me. These statements need to show three dates : Date of Data, Date of Preparation of the Statement, and Date when the Statement was handed over to the U. S. Postal Service.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I deposited a check from an Insurance claim and it was returned, no fault of mine. Ditech reversed my mortgage payment of {$1200.00} and the insurance check of {$10000.00}, in XX/XX/XXXX. I have always paid my mortgage many days before the due date.Every month I pay an extra {$100.00} more than the mortgage payment. I have a mortgage with this company for many years and have NEVER been late. They requested the copies of my bank statement and canceled checks from my bank which I have provided. I wrote and called them every few weeks and spoke to several Managers and Customer Service Representatives. They have all promised to get the problem resolved and mail out 1 year of payment history. I have not received that from Ditech and lately I have been receiving my monthly statements late. I was informed that they are reassigning all my payments from XX/XX/XXXX to present from XX/XX/XXXX and that should resolve the problem. That has made things worst because they now have be owning {$10000.00} and reflecting that I only pay {$330.00} for interest payment for the entire year of XXXX. They have been reporting me to the credit bureau as paying late every month. Last week I received a letter that my property is in foreclosure and I need to respond to them by XX/XX/XXXX. I am a older person and this mortgage company is about to kill me. I would appreciate your assistance ASAP. Thanks.

Complaint: My husband & I were previously with Greentree in XX/XX/XXXX when we purchased our mobile home and then Di-tech Financing took over. Greentree did not give a notice or notify us ahead. We have had our home since XX/XX/XXXX. Our total principal balance was XXXX & we still currently owe still XXXX yr of XX/XX/XXXX. Less than 1/2 of our payments goes towards the principal balance. I HAVE REQUESTED MY REFUND THREE TIMES SINCE RECEIVING THEIR ACKNOWLEDGMENT AFFIRMING MY OVERAGE IN WRITING ON XX/XX/2019. THEIR FIRST REPRESENTATIVE PROMISED ME THE CHECK WAS ALREADY IN THE MAIL. THE SECOND REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME THE OVERAGE WAS NOT OWED BACK TO ME. THE THIRD, A SUPERVISOR TOLD ME DITECHS POLICY IS TO KEEP OVERAGES AND LABEL THEM AS PART OF MY ESCROW RESERVE. I EXPLAINED THAT THEY CAN LEGALLY ONLY HOLD UP TO TWO MONTHS OF MY INSURANCE AND PROPERTY TAX BILLINGS BUT MUST OTHERWISE RETURN MY OVERAGE. THE SUPERVISOR TOLD ME KEEPING OVERAGES IS DITECHS POLICY AND I COULD FILE A COMPLAINT IF I DONT LIKE THAT ANSWER. I WILL DO THAT AND ALSO REPORT THEM TO THE CALIFORNIA BRE, DRE AND THE FDIC. After numerous phone calls to Ditech customer service XXXX all I get is the run-around about my escrow surplus check.I contacted them on XX/XX/XXXX, They said a check was mailed on XXXX ( I did not receive ) They issued a new check on XX/XX/XXXX, ( I did not receive ) .I called on XX/XX/XXXX and was told someone would contact me, no one contacted me, I called on XX/XX/XXXX and asked to speak to a supervisor or Mgr but they could not locate one.I also asked customer service if they had my correct mailing address, they did.They have all this information on their recorded messages.
