Complaint: Original loan from XX/XX/XXXX had an interest rate of 7.650 % and a payment of {$460.00}. The loan was modified in the fall of XXXX, with an interest rate of 1 % starting with the XX/XX/XXXX payment ( {$60.00} ) through the first 5 years. The interest rate would then increase to 4 % on XX/XX/XXXX ( payment of {$92.00} ) and continue through to the loan 's maturity on XX/XX/XXXX.
The company is under a court supervised financial restructuring. It assigned a new number to the loan and in the process, then returned the loan 's terms to the original ones instead of following through with the loan modification terms.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX a tree from neighbor yard fell causing damage to my house and deck. A claim was filed with my insurance company, and check was issued to me and to Ditech Financial as loss payees. I sent the check to Ditech and funds were sent to me by them to cover expenses, less a final amount held in escrow account pending satisfactory repair. Ultimately, Ditech issued a check to me in the amount of {$590.00} to close the escrow account, which I deposited XX/XX/XXXX. on XX/XX/XXXX I received notice from my bank ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) that the check from Ditech was dishonored, and I was charged a fee of {$7.00}. I called Ditech XX/XX/XXXX and was told that an ACH transfer in the amount of {$590.00} would be sent to my bank account " within 72 business hours. '' There was no transfer. I called again on XXXX and was told that the payment request " was still in the system pending payment '' and that there were " about 3000 other customers in the same circumstance. '' The service rep XXXX offered to send a check for the {$7.00} fee. The primary payment would " probably '' be made " within a couple of weeks. '' As a reminder, this is an escrow account and the funds do not belong to Ditech.

Account status incorrect
Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX my home in XXXX XXXX, Florida was damaged by Hurricane Irma and declared a FEMA disaster area. After over 1 year of recovery and {$160000.00} I think my house is repaired. FEMA did not offer any assistance as I had insurance and they referred me to the SBA which was quite helpful. Albeit a 3rd TD on my house at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX.
Ditech, my loan servicer, offered me a forbearance period pursuant to FNMA guidelines as being in a FEMA declared disaster area from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. I was granted a forbearance period for monthly payments until XX/XX/XXXX.
After XX/XX/XXXX they want a lump sum payment of {$40000.00}. Not what they told me.
It cost over {$160000.00} to repair my house.
Ditech managed my repair escrow account during the process.
They granted me and told me that at the end of the forbearance period my loan would be modified to include the foregone payments and it would be added to the principal balance and modified.
They have now offered a loan mod. on a 20 year amortization increasing my monthly payment by {$2000.00}. That hurts. They offered counseling. Serious?
They did not tell me the truth! When I call them they claim the call will be recorded. I have asked for the recorded audio records to prove what I was told.
They told me the forbearance would not effect my credit.
My FICO score has dropped from XXXX to XXXX and they report me as 180+ days delinquent. Not what I signed up for! I could not get a car loan with that FICO.
XXXX XXXX has reduced my credit limit on my unsecured credit line from {$13000.00} to $ {$3000.00} as they ran my credit and they were not impressed.
Ditech is not being fair. They respond but not satisfactory.
All my bills are paid on time. You have my permission to run my credit report.
This is not RIGHT!
My credit to me is very important. I complied with everything they told me.

Not sure how or if I need to upload the supporting documentation. The last conversation I had with " XXXX '' at Ditech he told me I was delinquent 180+ days and it could not be changed. How can I be delinquent in forbearance? " XXXX '' said they can't fix my FICO. XXXX!
I made payments at the end of forbearance in XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX.
I want them to fix my credit report!!!
I have done all I was told I needed to do. This is not fair. I did not make the Hurricane and complied with all I was told I needed to do to repair my house. What's the point of FEMA, SBA, and FNMA? It's not RIGHT!

Complaint: The escrow unit of my mortgage servicing company, Ditech, is supposed to manage and submit payments for real property tax as well homeowner 's insurance. I received my Real Property Tax Bill for the XX/XX/XXXX year from DC and the bill indicates that the real property tax for the second half of XX/XX/XXXX was never paid. Therefore there is an outstanding balance plus a penalty as well as interest. I called DC to confirm that there was indeed an outstanding balance and they calculated the numbers with me over the phone and confirmed that there is indeed a balance. They also told me that because escrow missed this payment, I could request a waiver of the penalty and interest. I then called Ditech to ask them what happened with the missed payment and to get the payment taken care of. First, they told me i received a surplus return from my escrow which has nothing to do with the outstanding tax bill. Second, they told me that Ditech did indeed make the payments. However, I told them that was not true because DC calculated the numbers and I checked the payment history from the escrow, and that payment was in fact not paid. The person i talked to insisted it was paid and tried to hang up on me and said he confirmed this with the manager. Finally, he let me speak to the manager who then put me in touch with the tax department. The tax department claims they never received the bill and said they would take my word for it to make the payment. I told them to make sure they take into account and also request the waiver of penalty and interest so there is no over-payment. They obviously were trying to get rid of me and quickly hung up. I have no confirmation that they will contact DC to get the correct amount or follow through with payment since multiple people gave me different answers. I also have no confirmation that they will request the waiver of interest and penalty fees. Please get this resolved for me so i dont continue to lose money like i did last year when Ditech refused to request an enormous refund i was owed by DC for a massive overpayment. Thank you.

Complaint: 1 ) I paid off the balance of the loan on XXXX, amount was {$4700.00}. Ditech reflected this payment on a statement they sent me dated XXXX.
2 ) Even though the loan was paid off on XXXX, Ditech put through two monthly auto-draft payments for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, each in amount of {$1200.00}. For a total of {$2500.00}.
3 ) Ditech sent me letter dated XXXX saying " your loan is paid in full '' and stated they they would send me any leftover escrow funds. I received the escrow fund balance check for {$2600.00} on XXXX.
4 ) As of XXXX Ditech still owes me the {$260.00} for the two auto-drafts in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. During the month of XXXX I called their customer info line ( XXXX call center ), THREE TIMES, and each time was told that they understood the issue and that I would receive a return call to clear it up. It has never happened.
5. I am considering legal action.

Complaint: I have had this loan for several years. I sold the home in XX/XX/2018. I had an impound account with approx. {$3700.00}. DiTech Claims they sent the check last XXXX ( 2018 ). In XXXX, I contacted them to let them know I have not received it. I have contacted DiTech at least 5 times over the last two+ months. I have promises to refund 7-10 days with no results. At one point they say their bankruptcy prevented them from reimbursing me. I have now had two supervisors promise to do an automatic deposit within 3-5 days ; both have failed to deliver. I just want MY money which I believe was held in a fiduciary relationship. Can you help me get my money?

Complaint: Ditech holds our first mortgage. We are supposed to have an escrow analysis every XXXX. They did not correct a shortage in XX/XX/XXXX but rather hit us with now two shortages in XX/XX/XXXX. There are reviews online from others who have been hit with this problem as of XX/XX/XXXX. In all cases, consumers are being asked to make up shortages which go back into prior years. One can either add the shortages to the mortgage loan and pay increased amounts for the next year, or write a check for the shortage within two months. This is a hardship for us, and apparently for many. Ditech needs to review these issues now. It is not surprising that they are having bankruptcy problems. And, if you do not have the money to pick up and move your account, you have nowhere to turn. There are too many complaints online to be ignoring this situation.

Complaint: Hello, I have a mortgage serviced with Ditech XXXX XXXX. In XXXX of 2018 I submitted my payment online as I do with all my previous payments. As per Ditech system it indicated that the payment was received. Several days later I noticed my account was not debited. I went back on the Ditech site and it showed that the payment was past due and a fee of {$76.00} was imposed albeit the payment was received on XX/XX/XXXX within " the grace period ''. I called their call center multiple times and to no avail did I reach anyone that would assist me with this issue. Instead the representative indicated to send a letter requesting the fee be waived which I did. DiTech indicates " they never received the letter ''. The only options to send the letter was via USPS or email. I sent the letter via USPS. They are very difficult to communicate with and this is extremely frustrating. All I want is for my account to be credited {$76.00} as this mistake occurred with DiTech servicing.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, DiTech Financial processed a payment from me in the amount of {$5500.00}. Rather than applying the payment to my payment and the remainder to my principle, Ditech processed it as my XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX payments, collecting the unearned interest on the higher balance and not requiring another mortgage payment until XX/XX/XXXX. I notified them via their online secure communication portal of their error on XX/XX/XXXX. After receiving on a canned response on XX/XX/XXXX and no further communication, I once again wrote to them on XX/XX/XXXX. Once again only getting a canned response. A similar thing happened on XX/XX/XXXX, and it took over a month to correct, even when I included specific instructions on how the payment was to be handled.

Complaint: My mortage started on or about XX/XX/XXXX ; I started to fall behind on my mortage. But never stopped making payments. Some payments were full payments, others were partial payments and some were a lil more than just regular payment. When my account became defaulted was because of medical issues. And in results of that financial situation started to impact my mortage and other bills. When that happened I wrote a letter explaining my situation. Which was apparently ok as long as I kept making payments. And keep mortage less than 120 days past due. I have trying to keep up with payments to come current with account.
On or around XXXX I spoke XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to a Rep. at Ditech and explained that my Hardship was over, explained that I had made arrangements to make my home a priority. In my explanation I stated that I retuned a vehicle I was paying for and some furniture that I was also paying. That my husband had started to work, and that at no time my intention was to loose my home. That I am doing my very best to come current. And again explained that was not going to happen over night.
On or about XX/XX/XXXX I get a letter from an attorney representing Ditech. Letter in which says all past due must be paid in full. I had a 2 month payment to send. Called Dietch and said they could not take partial payment and that the full amount had to be paid in full.
I have been working really hard to keep my home. And just out of no where I get this letter stating all past due must be paid in full.
I am aware my account is defaulted. But honestly have my doubts on amount. Because I had been making payments. Whether they were partial payments or full payments. And had explained to them my situation. I just want a fair negotiation towards my home. I do not want to loose my home.
On XX/XX/XXXX spoke with XXXX from Ditech again explained that my hardship was due to illnes, something no one wants to go through. But that was over offered to send my payment, and that I was ready to stay focused on my home as a prioty. Did explain that my intentions was not to get into more debt owing more than what I can pay. Also explained I was only focused in my home as prioty. XXXX mentioned that with a lum sum of past due maybe an arragment could be made if it satisfies all parties.
On or about XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from XXXX XXXX asking what were my intentions with home. Once again I told them that at no time do I want to loose my home. I did tell him I had some of that past due amount, but that I was short by about 2,000. Something to which he replied ; come on can you borrow that money and send your payment and just get it over with.
I said I do not want to get my self in debt stressing myself with another payment. I am working with what I have. I said I know you want your money and I want to keep my home. Mentioned to XXXX what XXXX had mentioned about maybe a lum sum of past due and agreed by all parties an arragment can be made. XXXX replied : dont know why she even said that, there is no way possible. He mentioned I suggest you come up with the money and get it over with.

Complaint: I recently applied for a car loan, when applying they found that Mortage payment has been late for the past two years, when I contacted the Mortagage they informed me I missed a payment in XXXX of 2017 but I made a double payment in XXXX to catch up..but even if that's true why am I being reported for being late on the payments for two years? The Mortage company also has my payment on the credit report being {$1300.00} and my actual pay XXXX..my Mortage was bought by this company about the same time all of this started to happening, I've been paying {$1.00} for the past year thinking im paying extra when they are reporting that I'm short every month.I was paying threw their automated system before I started paying threw my bank bill pay account and I have all of the payments I've made for the past year

Complaint: XX/XX/2017 Ditech Rep. told me not to pay so i could apply for LMOD, I applied 8 times, HAMP 4, HARP1, FLEXMOD 3 times, never revived an answer on any FLEXMOD applications, and the others it was always the same excuse, documents missing and I always re-sent them, my calls have been handled wrong and research department has never responded to my request for investigation, and please dont just send me to them, this is my 3rd complaint with you, also I wasnt served a motion to sell 120, so that i could plead my case to a judge, i until all my court summons run out to save my house that I have worked so hard for

Complaint: {$530.00} was pulled from my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX without my authorization from Ditech. Ditech had no information on their end that they had even done this. I had to have my bank send them a fax stating that they had pulled the money from my account. This overdrew my account and I was several states away and had no money for gas to get home. This also caused me {$92.00} in bad check charges. ( which I still have not received from Ditech ) After numerous phone calls, over several days I was told by " XXXX '' that this was a glitch in their system and that a current project called XXXX was the cause. It caused ACH debits on consumers accounts without their authorization. I talked with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and stated that they could go ahead and apply the payment of {$530.00} to my account for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. My payment for XXXX was supposed to be {$420.00}, not {$530.00}. I told her to go ahead and apply the over payment as principal. This would also allow my XXXX payment to be considered on time.
On XX/XX/XXXX they refunded the {$530.00} back into my account even though I had requested it to go toward XXXX 's payment on XX/XX/XXXX. That now looks like I missed XXXX 's payment. With my checking account being overdrawn for over a week because of XXXX, I was not able to make other payments towards other bills thus making them late. This is not the only XXXX up that they have done with us over the years.
