Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I was laid off from my job and called Ditech and told them I was struggling to make my payments because I was unemployed. I talked to quite a few people and no one offered any help at that time.
In early XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a modification now that I am back on my feet and Ditech denied me saying I was not eligible because I can not be more than 6 months behind ( If they offered help in XX/XX/XXXX I may not be ) and because the amount after modification would be to much. All they offered me is a short sale and I want to stay in my house, I don't want to have to move my young kids.
I want Ditech to help me

Complaint: foreclosure notice never sent contacted them XX/XX/XXXX to discuss payment arrangements and was told as of XX/XX/XXXX we were in foreclosure. nothing in writing had done the trehab programs with no luck. also had to request no robo calls as they were coming in all hours of day and night. sent them letter saying to stop robo calls but to contact us by regular phone, which hasn't been done. they have some very rude people they you have to talk to. like one today was ext XXXX who got very snotty. I would like account paid in full this has been going on to long with this company

Complaint: Good afternoon ... I was examining my credit report from XXXX & I noticed I had one negative report on my credit report from Ditech Financial. Details of the XXXX credit report ( with Ditech as the vendor ) state I was 30 days late on my XX/XX/2017 mortgage payment. I contacted XXXX dispute resolution dept. and placed a request to have the error corrected. Ditech did not correct the error on the resolution report produced by XXXX. I attempted to contact Ditech directly but could not find a phone number or web address to remedy my complaint. As the attachment indicates, Ditech documents they received my XXXX payment on XX/XX/2017, within my 15 day grace period. Because the payment was received within the 15 day grace period and since no late fee was imposed I believe my payment was not late and the negative report should be removed from my record.

Complaint: Ditech Financial got our XX/XX/XXXXXXXX tax form completely wrong and has not sent us a corrected version.
A few days prior to XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted a request to have our XXXX corrected on the ditech website. The XXXX does not have the correct tax amount paid. Our taxes are approximately $ XXXX, box 10 shows {$1500.00}. Box 7 is not checked and the address associated with this mortgage is and has always been our only and primary residence.
On XX/XX/XXXX I get an email response that a ditech customer service rep will be contacting me. That is the last communication I have received from this company.
I repeatedly checked the website to see if they had posted an updated XXXX but they had not.
Now they have sold our mortgage to another company and the ditech account is closed. This mean I can no longer access the documents I need. How am I supposed to do my taxes when this shady mortgage company can't get tax documents correct and has abysmal communication practices.

Complaint: My late husband is on loan, when I got behind even though there was notarized letter from husband sayng they should talk to me, they would not. Then they start refusing payment. After many many months of run around they finally offered me a loan modification. During second month of loan modification they decided to sell mortgage and DItech will not answer their phone. SO I can not make payment and now I am going to default on loan modification because DiTech will NOT answer their phone. Please help!

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, my XX/XX/XXXX payment in the amount of {$2800.00} was not applied correctly. {$1200.00} Interest amount was due ; {$1500.00} Principal amount I paid applied.
Ditech Billing Statement for XX/XX/XXXX showing amount due of {$1200.00} for interest.
I called Ditech on XX/XX/XXXX and informed about the mishandling of the payment I made for the month of XXXX. The customer service representative argued that it was applied correctly. I asked for a manager and was told there is no manager available.
I then submitted a message using the Message Center option online.
I follow up on XX/XX/XXXX, using the Message Center option online.
In between all these attempts to resolve and apply for my payments appropriately for XXXX, I continued and paid the XX/XX/XXXX payment given the refinancing is not completed. The payment for XX/XX/XXXX, was issued on XX/XX/XXXX.
To show proof that my account was completely mishandled by Ditech, there was no XX/XX/XXXX, due to date billing statement sent to me. I am providing you copies from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX as a proof what was sent and able to obtain online.
Meanwhile, XXXX, the new lender I was working with to refinance this loan, continued to work with Ditech. The payoff balance including interest per day amounted to {$380000.00}.
The payoff process was completed on XX/XX/XXXX, and disbursement of loan money was done on XX/XX/XXXX.
As you can see no adjustment made on payments I made for XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Which resulted in higher loan balance and interest before the payoff.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent another follow up using the message center.
On XX/XX/XXXX, Ditech returned portion of the unapplied payments I made for XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$2500.00}. However, the full amount that I was expected was not returned. No clear explanation of how they derive the refund amount of {$2500.00}. See below copy of the check.
To date, Ditech has not responded or sent the remaining balance of my payments. The bottom line on this complaint is that there is no interest payment due to this loan given it was already paid off. Ditech needs to return the total amount that was not applied at the time this loan was paid off. The remaining balance owe to me amounts to {$2700.00} which includes the interest amounts for XXXX {$1200.00} and XXXX {$1200.00} along with the remaining extra principal that I was not applied and not included on the XX/XX/XXXX, refund in the amount of {$110.00} ( {$2600.00} extra principal payments not applied : XXXX {$1500.00} and XXXX {$1100.00} minus refund of {$2500.00} ). Total amount issued to Ditech for XXXX {$2800.00} and XXXX {$2300.00}.

Complaint: Ditech is a new name for the company known as Green Tree. Our mortgage on our home was nearly paid off at the time Green Treen took it over. My bank continued making monthly payments to Green Tree electronically depositing into Green Trees account with XXXX XXXX XXXX. However Green Tree neglected posting any of our payments to our mortgage account.. We had requested they correct our acct and post our payments several times, at which they pretended at the time, not to have received any of them. Green Tree refused to give us or our banks any information on the payoff amount & tried to foreclose on our home instead. We were able to pay the entire mortgage amount again before they could foreclose. My bank " XXXX '' went through the procedure of tracing down 0ver 20 payments that were found to be deposited into Green Tree 's ( Ditech 's ) bank account with my mortgage account number on them. Ditech refuses to reimburse us the {$19000.00} they state they lost. They claim they need to find where they allocated our funds before they are able to reimburse us. I call them every 6-8mos. requesting they return our money, however they claim they are still unable to send us a check until they can correct all their errors. I have all receipts & letters from the bank showing all payments were made on time every month. I also have the payoff receipt showing they were paid a second time for the same mortgage, if needed I can send. Over 100 pages of documentation is available. I called XXXX bureau 2 years ago and told it was being investigated & had assumed it was corrected. I recently found out Ditech has since submitted another negative report to the credit bureaus under the pretense they never received payments and I still haven't received my duplicate payments reimbursement.

Complaint: we are back at it again. you, Ditech playing games, while this time you are in chapter XXXX bankruptcy and switching accounts around and adding monies that have already been paid, too the new account that you have created in my name! i am down to {$2500.00} before i made the XX/XX/XXXX payment of {$250.00}. then you switch accounts on me and i am suddenly back at {$8600.00}, i found this out by logging into my account.
in reality, if your company and previous company named greentree financial since you are the same company, would have correctly serviced my loan since XXXX, i would have actually been paid off in XXXX, but it wasnt. you came back and said i owed over XXXX dollars. which is weird because you have received every dime plus interest, even when i fell behind in payment due to 2 divorces, all behind payments and interest were paid. your servicing issues were on you, not my fault that you doctored my account. since i was worried about losing my home, i had no choice but to be a pawn in your scheme and keep paying.
also since you jumbled my account to a new account, XX/XX/XXXX, you cancelled my insurance which the cost was added to my account of $ XXXX.and you received {$340.00} back. i will be deducting this amount from on my previous account. now on to other things.
now that you have changed my account from the account i have had for 22+ years, you send me a letter saying i am behind in my payments, i argue that point with you, because you receive my money every month, which leads me to my credit report that you have falsely been reporting on for a few years. every one of my payments have been declared over 120 days late since XXXX and there are discrepancies before that. my payment marks should reflect fairly of that month. also, you gave me 3 options in your recent letter dated XXXX XXXX, 1 ) was to modify my account, already done and had to fight through CFPB to get it done, 2 ) you tell me if i cant afford my home to either sell it or find more affordable housing. i have been paying you 22+ years and you keep trying to add more money! also, you want me to file a loss mitigation report. i know already how that works, you play the didnt receive it in time or paperwork is incomplete game.
your own documents, that i receive monthly show my balance owed and now that you are in a chapter XXXX bankruptcy, you obviously think that you can switch stuff around to make it look better for you in front of the judge and trustee. i expect this matter to be resolved and corrected. i honestly believe, my account and probably thousands of others, should be forensically audited by a federal auditor through a federal investigation!
