Complaint: We requested to remove PMI. We were told originally to reduce balance to 80 % then that changed to 75 %. We did what we were told. We should have had PMI removed back in XXXX ; however we are getting the run around. We want the PMI removed & back dated to reflect the correct effective date. They are telling us we need to pay the full payment for a 2nd month which is completely unfair & unprofessional. We are getting no where with Caliber Home Loans customer service. Please help us! Our experience is real estate, insurance agent & prior mortgage origination therefore this should not be happening to us ... this is ridiculous

Complaint: I took out a loan on XX/XX/XXXX, with a principal balance of {$310000.00} with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX dba XXXX. The previous servicer of the loan was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Caliber became the servicer of the loan on XX/XX/XXXX. A Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy ( Case Number XXXX ) was filed on JXX/XX/XXXX. additionally to an open appeal and oral hearing before the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel ( BAP ) ( Case Number XXXX ) where standing has been challenged. As a result of divorce in XXXX, and losing 50 % of my income, I became delinquent on the loan for $ XXXX, and they began foreclosure on XX/XX/XXXX ; however, foreclosure proceedings are moot and have been suspended pursuant to the active bankruptcy stay. I requested clarification of the balance of my loan and according to XXXX they owned it which was not legal and per XXXX could not be sold. Caliber claims that ownership of the loan has been transferred on multiple occasions but has failed to provide any evidence to that effect. They claim that the loans investor is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, ( a Statutory Trust created in Delaware ), and that XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, is the trustee. I have contacted XXXX XXXX and they deny any involvement with my note. Caliber claims to be the loans servicer and I have filed varios modification requests which remain unanswered. They claim that a document filed by the Trustee reflects that as of XX/XX/XXXX, the bankruptcy trustee paid {$6300.00} to Caliber which is still unaccounted for in the recent payment history Caliber has sent me. I therefore request that the CFPB get involved and audit this loan for fraud.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX sent notices of pending foreclosure to an unknown address that has since been discovered. Caliber home Loan and XXXX XXXX sent legal notices to XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. When my then legal address was my home that was illegally foreclosed upon XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX. WE have found all your Special delivery mailing to the above address my searching the neighborhood for past 2 years. I was not legal notified therefore, no amount of time can be claimed to negate this illegal and wrongful foreclosure. XXXX XXXX made a loan with XXXX on XXXX and my name was on a registered and recorded Quit Claim Deed XX/XX/XXXX. So Caliber you need to work with XXXX and return my home back to me as it still sits empty since XX/XX/XXXX. If you thouht you had clear Title, the home would have been sold. But since I AM LEGALLY IN TITLE THe home Can't be sold.. Want to negotiate?

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX Sr. Loan Consultant XXXX ID XXXX State Lic. # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX Direct XXXX Fax XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Caliber Home Loans ) sold properties in a collaboration with XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX ( affordable housing with deed restrictions ). XXXX and Caliber Home Loans knew these homes were defective and quickly became uninhabitable shortly after closing ; yet, he continued to close on these homes and write mortgages on these properties where the consumer was being defrauded. XXXX was working in the builders best interest to the detriment of the consumer - mostly low income consumers who bought these lemon properties as their first home, then they were forced to walk away in far worse financial shape than before.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX took over my mortgage from XXXX XXXX. I had try to re-modify my loan with XXXX XXXX and XXXX and both broke there contract with me. On XXXX XXXX I went to court against XXXX and agreed on a deed in lieu foreclosure. I had agreed to XXXX dollars and 90 days to vacate. When XXXX found out in XX/XX/XXXX I was granted sole ownership of the home in a divorce settlement and my former wife 's name was on the note that said she had to sign a quick claim deed, I stated I didn't know where she lived- plus for 1 year starting in XX/XX/XXXX during our separation the money I gave her weekly to pay XXXX bank the mortgage. She didn't for 1 whole year and the house went into foreclosure without me being notified because she didn't want me to get the home. When a foreclosure sale date of XX/XX/XXXX was set, XXXX was caught lying to me saying that now she didn't have to sign anything. I called HUD and made a complaint and the sale was canceled. I have been waiting for a hearing to get XXXX, I am XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX they transferred my mortgage to Caliber homes. I explained my long dispute and should be getting XXXX within 6 months. In XX/XX/XXXX XXXX. sold my loan to XXXX XXXX XXXX .They called for a auction sale XX/XX/XXXX I received notice in the mail XX/XX/XXXX.I called and talked with Caliber and they sent me forbearance paperwork. The same day someone else from Caliber called and denied me-without explanation. I I have a hearing for my XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and the bank or mortgage company will not allow any more time for me to get my money and re-modify my home loan of 23 years.I worked at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, Maine for 26 yrs. I became XXXX in XXXX. I was married XXXX yrs this bitter devastating divorce put this whole thing in motion. They want to sell asap because they know they will make a bundle off my misfortune. they all lied, broke contracts and was severely penalized by our government for these illegal business practices and are still doing it, I worked my whole life for this home and they just want another quick buck. I still do not have documentation proving that my note was sold, nor do I have a receipt of all the pre and post petition payments made to them. I attach a copy of the evidence of payment during last year to the Trustee. I demand a correct statement and all information regarding my mortgage.

Complaint: I am writing for assistance to determine the legitimacy of the owner and servicer of my mortgage. With whom should I speak to regarding the owner ( s ) and servicer ( s ) of my loan. Currently, the owner is XXXX XXXX XXXX and servicer is Caliber. In XX/XX/XXXX, Caliber did a modification. After doing so, Caliber changed my FHA Fixed rate mortgage to an Conventional Adjustable one, When I discovered the issue I filed a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection and Caliber was supposed to have corrected the issue. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the owner will be XXXX XXXX XXXX and servicer is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In lieu of the fact that fraud is as at an all time high. I am trying to ensure the aforementioned is accurate and the transfer is legitimate. Please let me know who I should speak with regarding the issues listed. Thank you in advance.

Complaint: First, the status of limitation is complete involving relationship with your Caliber. Second, your company has not receive payment with me since XXXX. Third, XXXX sold the mortgage to Caliber in XXXX of XXXX. XXXX, I had to restart modification over again. My reason for modification was to remodel the home to accommodate my husband, which fell down the step twice, which was already a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had to move in XXXX of XXXX because there was no response to the modification in timely fashion and husband condition worsen. I had already moved before Caliber agreed to give a modification. Five, never receive one dime from me and reporting payments never obtained.

Complaint: Caliber Home Loans added a separate, completely unrelated, parcel number to my account and demands that I put into my escrow that property 's taxes, in addition my own. They have used my escrow to pay the taxes for both homes. They state that I owe over {$5600.00} for the other property. This is completely false. I noticed this two weeks ago. Their tax department is " researching '' while their mortgage department has increased my monthly mortgage from about {$1200.00} to over $ 2,300/month. The tax department and the mortgage department do not communicate. The mortgage department is aware of the tax issues but refuses to keep my original mortgage payment active until this is resolved. I have continued to pay my regular mortgage amount. This, according to them, has put me in arrears on my mortgage payment, and they send me debt collection letters, plus their debt collectors call me several times a day. They state that I owe over {$3000.00} in unpaid mortgage bills. Their customer service department stated today ( XX/XX/18 ) that they will not fix my credit, which is now ruined due to their mistakes, they will not refund the added fees I have accumulated, and they refuse to remove the unpaid ( completely false ) mortgage amount from my account. My county 's auditor has confirmed that the parcel added to my account does not belong to me, has never been listed under my name, and they stated that my own taxes have actually decreased. I am currently trying to fix this issue and have done so for over two weeks. Caliber Home Loans have been less than helpful, and is, frankly, completely incompetent when it comes to this matter. I have contacted the XXXX, my original mortgage broker has never seen anything this messed up in her entire career ( she is currently involved ), and will contact the Texas State banking division.

Complaint: Caliber Home loans is responsible for my homeowners insurance. XXXX XXXX is the underwriter for my insurance ( or lack thereof ). On XX/XX/2017 Caliber paid {$1000.00} for my then current insurance premium ( this # was taken from Calibers ' website for my account ) and when I look at my insurance documents from XXXX XXXX this is the amount they show for the premium. I recently filed an insurance claim for wind damage to my roof only to have XXXX XXXX tell me insurance lapsed last year due to a payment discrepancy. Caliber shows they paid, XXXX says they didn't and at the end of the day I'm left holding the bag. I seriously need help with this. Thanks for your time

Complaint: I signed up with Caliber Home Loans via a mortgage broker in the State of New Hampshire. During the application process I asked both the mortgage broker and Caliber directly if there were any fees associated with making a payment online. They stated that there were no fees to make a one time or regular payment for my mortgage so long as the payment was made on time and not returned. Today, I attempted to make my normal mortgage payment, and I was notified that I would be charged a {$3.00} fee as of XX/XX/2018 for a single payment online. This is an unfair fee that was not disclosed to me in my original mortgage process. I feel that this fee is absolutely unfair to the consumer, and should not be legal without disclosure in order to protect consumers. What is to stop Caliber Home Loans from increasing this fee substantially? I should not be charged to make a simple payment online, especially after confirming that no fees would be applied with my broker and with Caliber Home Loans prior to engaging in the loan!

Complaint: I have been working with Caliber home loans since XX/XX/XXXX in trying to obtain a loan modification. I have submit every single document that has been requested since my initial submission. I have received mailings on multiple occasions stating that my loan modification packet was complete and going to underwriting for review. Shortly after I would receive requests for additional information. After complying with all of the requests, the file was never decisioned. I was told I had to resubmit everything because the documents expired. This went on for 16 months straight. All the while I was in the XXXX County Foreclosure Mediation Program. Finally when the mediators set the case for a formal hearing on XX/XX/XXXX. Right before the formal hearing I finally received a decision letter. The loan modification was denied and I was denied all home retention options as my arrearages grew larger than FHA 's partial claim would allow. Caliber is at fault for neglecting to review my complete applications timely. I was prepared to begin making mortgage payments again as soon as the first application was submit. I am so disappointed in the actions of this servicer. Due to the length of time they wasted, I am now in close danger of losing my home to foreclosure.
