Complaint: I sent an email requesting that a goodwill adjustment be made to my credit reports for XX/XX/2018 for my Capital One payment. The reporting was fixed on my reports for XX/XX/2018 ; however, my XXXX report now has the 30 day late showing for XX/XX/2018. I have made numerous attempts to call my contact at XXXX. using XXXX as the 6-digit PIN with 7-digit extension of XXXX. I have left the number to use to contact me but I have not yet received any returned calls.
Again, I've expressed my concern with this issue and I would like to maintain my relationship with Capital One.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I applied for a Capital One Visa card and I was denied due to company errors of new credit card application Capital One Mastercard approval back on XX/XX/XXXXor XX/XX/XXXX.
In which six months has past as of XX/XX/2018 as Capital One Administration stated their guidelines is six months in applying and I had a Pending Capital One Mastercard Credit card back in XX/XX/XXXX orXX/XX/XXXX.
That Pending Capital One Mastercard credit card application was approved onXX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX in ending # XXXX in which is active from XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXXtill Present.
I have been making timely payments since XX/XX/XXXX till Present and I pay over the $ XXXX monthly payments of {$100.00}.
I spoke to Capital One Credit card rep on XX/XX/XXXX from my cell phone XXXX and requested for Capital One to " Reconsider Application of XX/XX/XXXX as Capital One pulled my credit and place a hard inquiry on my credit report and it decreased my credit scores on XXXX, XXXX and XXXX
Also on my resisting Capital One Mastercard ending in # XXXX I requested a credit limit increase over {$750.00} and I was denied because of my XXXX XXXX.
My XXXX XXXX Pension XXXX income is around {$53000.00} a year with a XXXX % XXXX increase every year on XX/XX/XXXX, so my XXXX Retirement income increases every year onXX/XX/XXXX.
I am Retired and XXXX XXXX.I am also a XXXX XXXX XXXX Military Veteran.

Debt was result of identity theft
Complaint: The Capital One Bank USA was a secure credit card in the amount of {$300.00} dollars. Now this card is {$2500.00} I do not know how this credit card allowed by the Capital One Bank to go that high. I did not do this and I do know that my card was used by someone else. My question to the Captial One Bank is how could you let this card that was only a secure credit card for only {$300.00} get to {$2500.00}. This is fraudelent and I did not do this sort of thing.

I received a letter from Credit Control in which is the collection agency that purchased the account from Kohls. However, the account is still being reported by Kohls. Complaint: Hi, I was an authorized user on my brother Capital One Savor credit card account. I was given my own card in my name and I made purchases in XX/XX/2018. I also paid the bill 30 days later when it was due, XX/XX/18.
Later, my relationship with my brother became strained in XX/XX/2018 with him stalking me and my family and sending us derogatory messages. He also called and reported my purchases as fraud. Now one of my purchases, particularly XXXX want their money again and I already paid them. XXXX also have denied me access to pay with any card because of the returned payments. Pls help me.

Credit card company won't work with you while you're going through financial hardship
Complaint: I have been going through financial hardship and have been in contact with my creditors. I have requested payment assistance, ergo a forebearance and Capitol One will not work with me. I have explained the details of my hardship to multiple phone agents and I have been advised that if my account were to grow further delinquent they may have assistance options, but at that time my account was already 60-90 days delinquent. It seems that the company is encouraging account delinquency before payment assistance/relief will be provided, and therefore negatively impact the customers credit score. I was offered a late fee waiver program where I could pay at any time without the fees but they will still report to the Credit bureau the number of days delinquent, and not that I was in any relief program. After growing further delinquent as I was advised I was initially denied a review for a forebearance, and then upon a 2nd request I was told that I did not qualify for a forebearance in spite of the account being further delinquent. I was told the only relief they will offer me is the late fee waiver program and that they are considering closing my line of credit. I answered their calls, kept them informed of my finances, grew further delinquent as I had been advised to by multiple phone agents, and still no assistance! Now that I'm calling to get pay off information I am not able to get any information on my account through the automated system, I have to wait another day to talk to a phone agent. I'm sorry, but if they were not willing to assist me, why would I want any phone agent to receive credit for me paying off the balance or bringing the balance down? No matter the level of delinquency on my account, I should have the same rights to access my account as someone who is current on their account! As a creditor they should be willing to work with customers who are trying to resolve their debt and not encouraging customers to grow further delinquent.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: As I was leaving the mall a sales lady at XXXX XXXX XXXX handed me a sample product and asked me to sit down that she had a product to remove the bags under my eyes.
I wear reading glasses and put my glasses into my purse so she could apply the product. I ended up buying the product on XX/XX/2019. The product cost {$320.00} with tax and they also gave me a card for a " complementary non-surgical face lift experience '' valued at {$600.00}. After I signed the receipt the sales lady asked when did I want to come in for my {$600.00} special. I said I was in a rush and would call later and set a date for that appointment. I did not have my reading glasses on when the sales lady pointed to a place below my signature on the receipt and asked me to initial it. Unfortunately, I could not read what I was initialing without my glasses. I thought my initials were for the {$600.00} special card and that I would call later to schedule it. When I got home and looked in my mirror I was not happy, this {$300.00} product did not work my bags were back. I went back to XXXX XXXX XXXX the next day, XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX XXXX I spoke with a salesman and said I was not happy with the product my bags came back very quickly. I said I had not opened the product and wanted a refund. The salesman said we do not allow refunds and I took out my cellphone and called Capital One, the credit card company that I used to purchase the product. A man a Capital One spoke with the salesman and then the salesman handed the phone back to me. The salesman told me to leave and would not give me a refund. That was around XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I later called Capital One disputes section again ( around XXXX XXXX ) to make sure it was documented. On XX/XX/XXXX I looked at my Capital One statement and this charge was not disputed. So I called Capital One and the lady in Disputes said because the credit charge had not cleared on XX/XX/XXXX the information that both Capital One employees had entered into the system disappeared. She took down my information and started the dispute again. Capital One sent me a ltr dated XX/XX/2019 requesting that I respond to their letter if I still wanted to dispute the {$320.00} charge. The envelop was run through a Capital One postage meter on XX/XX/XXXX. Within a day or so of receiving this letter I responded to Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX by mail and also faxed the letter.
Capital One issued a letter to me dated XX/XX/XXXX and this is why I am filing a complain about Capital One : Their letter is requesting, " A second opinion on company letterhead from another merchant in the same field stating specifically what the original merchant did incorrectly, how the problem can be corrected, and what that will cost. I responded immediately upon receiving this letter. I stated in my XX/XX/XXXX letter that I mailed and also faxed to Capital One that I felt that it was not appropriate. " I do not believe I should find another merchant and ask them to comment on XXXX XXXX. I think you are asking me to conduct an unethical act. '' There were a few other questions in their letter and I responded to them. I received a telephone call the next day from Capital One and the lady said she received my fax and without the " second opinion on letterhead '' they would close the case and not in my favor. I told her I disagreed that I had never heard of a company requiring a customer to do such a thing. She said she would be mailing me their response in writing.
So this complaint is about Capital One requiring a customer to get a second opinion about another company. I don't believe I could find another Spa that would be willing to do such an unethical thing. I tried to return the product within 24 hours of the purchase. I still have not opened the product and when I tried to return the product the salesman said no refunds and would do nothing for me. I believe I should receive a refund.
Just one more piece of info : I have been a wonderful customer of Capital One for over 19 years, always paying on time and very few refund issues ( this may be the first ) and I am very disturbed that they treat a loyal customer this way.
