Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 my XXXX credit card was fraudulently charged three amounts {$330.00}, {$330.00}, {$100.00} I opened a disputed against a fraudster company XXXX that tried to defraud me and after some time the fraud department of Capitalone.com refunded two charges of {$100.00} and {$330.00} closing dispute in my favor but for some unknown reason rewarded the third charge of {$330.00} to the fraudulent company XXXX and closed the case without an appeal. By doing this Capitalone.com sided with fraudulent company and assisted in defrauding my account by {$33.00}. I called multiple times to XXXX asking to review the case and reopen the dispute but to no avail.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 we tried to use our credit card out of the country to find out it was closed. Called Capital One XX/XX/XXXX and was told that " I had called to request a new credit card, but could not provide all the information required, so it was requested by the called to be closed ''. I did not make any phone call for my account to be closed. Capital One closed my account because someone phoned in and could not provide all the security questions and requested to close the account. Without actually verifying that the person trying to close the account was the actual owner of the account, they closed it without any security checks or diligence on their part. Called back on XX/XX/2019 because the account had $ 150+ dollars in rewards earned, but they were unable to help. They also verified per. voice recordings that the person who called to close the account was indeed not me ( owner of the account ). Although there is fault in their security and fraud protection I am still penalized for their inability to protect their customers.
