Complaint: I contacted Capital One about 2 months ago, in late XX/XX/2019, to dispute fraudulent charges on both of my credit card accounts and had reported to them that about a year ago, my identity had been stolen. I spoke to a representative and explained that I was only able to see less than a year 's charges on my account, but, I wanted to dispute the charges that I was able to see at the time and that I would call back after this investigation to request help in viewing the rest of the account that I could not view. I spent about 45 minutes on the telephone with the representative, while she asked me questions and took down the information for my dispute -that included the vendors, dates, and amounts. She stated that the investigation would take about 30 days and that Capital may contact me regarding further questions, if needed ; and that I should hear back from them. I did not hear back from Capital One within those 30 days, except one email on XX/XX/2019 stating that they received my complaint ( but it was for only one account which ended in XXXX. The email did not have any mentions of the other account ending in XXXX. I contacted Capital One a second time, in XX/XX/2019, asking about the results and the representative stated that she would cancel the cards on the account, but without stating the results of the investigation. I contacted Capital One a third time, on XX/XX/2019, regarding update for the investigation, stating that I have not heard anything from them regarding the investigation. I was transferred to 3 different representatives, all of whom stated that there was no documentation in their system of my investigation, or that I had disputed any charges. One supervisor, name " XXXX '', whom was very professional and helpful, apologized that this had happened and stated that I put in another dispute of the charges and this time ask for the fraud department, once I gather the information again. Capital One handled my dispute of the fraudulent charges unprofessionally, never documenting that I put in a dispute, even after the representative had me on the telephone for over 45 minutes -supposedly documenting my dispute of the charges. Capital One is aware that my identity had been stolen and still not properly handle my dispute of fraudulent charges in a professional and resolvable way, leaving the charges on my account and having me pay monthly for charges that I do not owe.

Complaint: I have disputed this account, because it is inaccurate, I have also requested validation of the debt. In communication with the XXXX XXXX and XXXX, I made the process, having no results and return this account as verified, formally request, debt validation, instead capital one responds with a letter, to send you a copy of my report credit and underlining or mark the errors, is not only that, is to request verification with documents that carry my signature and did not respond to it. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on a credit report. Otherwise anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail or email in a fraudulent account. I demand to see verifiable proof ( i.e. : an original consumer contract with my signature on it ) that you have on file for the account listed below. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit. Under the FCRA, unverifiable accounts must be removed and if you are unable to provide me a copy of verifiable proof, you must remove the account listed below.

Complaint: i submitted to my bank a few claims where the merchant services are not as described, the cost was different than what was agreed upon on and what is advertised for the general public, and i was not in possession of my vehicle and the insurer was not able to perform their duties during the time im requesting that my money be refunded to me. i presented all documentation available as well as the advertisements/listing themselves explaining in detail the aspects of the cases. to my surprise the bank rejects them in a few days and didnt even post a temporary credit nor did they even bother to call me or ask for more evidence. This all seems very odd So i reached out wondering what they needed and i noticed they'd combined 2 of the claims and kept using facts from each to argue the validity of the charges as a whole. I continued to ask that they not do that and if we could please re submit my claim with the each claim having its own specific detailed case number and i explained i was requesting this because the facts were very mixd up and that for that reason there is a bias and they are not looking at the facts correctly. They have declined to hear reason and continue to recount the individual situation incorrectly they also refuse to hear me when i explained that even the insurance company has agreed that i absolutely cancelled the policy and that i didn't owe. i'm trying to keep working with the insurance company on that but the facts are on the other two cases not only has capital one refused to ask according to my rights but they have ignored basic reasoning and my steady reminder that they are not stating facts correctly and can not pass a judgment when not all the information is correct. it is also my stance that capital one has used my words and switched them to better suit their narrative and my conversation today further proved that as each recount was completely bias and full of errors

Public record also states that I've lived in dresses that I've never been to and that current address that you supplied is a building that's been burned down since XXXX and only recently rebuilt. I do not and have never lived in the state of Pennsylvania. I have a New Jersey state ID that says otherwise. Also in XXXX I was XXXX years old so I didn't realize you guys gave credit cards to minors .. so I asked that they remove this off my credit report as I've never applied to this company. Complaint: I called Kohl 's credit card today XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to 2 different employees which is partnered with Capital One that I realized there was a charge Starting in XX/XX/XXXX called " interest on protected balance ''. I looked at my recent statement that they are charging me this extra interest protected balance that I never opt in to and in the service agreement it also doesn't state that. I already called Kohl 's and they are not helping they said they will not waive it because its there policy. They were very rude to me and said I don't understand the difference which it was not necessary for him to say that to me. I didn't approve of this charge. The total amount they charged me so far is a total of {$400.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX. I am unable to look at me previous statements since it doesn't go back that far.

Complaint: XX/XX/2019 Car rental reservation made online with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX airport in the amount of {$390.00}. Arrived for noon pickup to find 40-50 people waiting in line. Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes with no movement. Called XXXX to be told the reservation was non-cancellable. Because I had an important engagement I tried several other rental agencies in the airport to no avail. Left Airport, drove to XXXX, rented at XXXX at considerable expense and lost time. Contact Capital One completed their documents and charge was temporarily rescinded. They later responded that because I had not cancel the reservation I was responsible. Provided proof of attempted cancellation. Response was I had not waited long enough. However they could not tell me what a fair amount of wait time would be. They then responded, as XXXX had, stating that in fact the contract was non-cancelable despite the fact that they had not kept the contract agreement of a noon pickup. Capital One then re debited my account.
