Complaint: Ad astra recovery is listed on all XXXX of my credit reports as a collection account. Ive contacte d Ad Astra and as ked for them to provide documentation that validates the account and was told they ca n't provide me any paperwork. I proceeded to ask that the account is deleted and they refused to update my credit file. Under the FC RA 15 U.S.C. [ 1681i ] all un verified accounts must be deleted from each credit report.

Complaint: I have attempted to have this account removed from my credit since XXXX XXXX . I have sent letters for validation a nd all I get in return is the account is VERIFIED via FCRA rules & I am instructed to call AD ASTRA. For 2 years now, I call them give them the partial account number from my report once the account is pulled up I 'm asked to verify my social and birthday HOWEVER they are unable to discuss the account because the personal information does n't match. I filed a complaint via this website XXXX a nd in return Ad Astra uploaded and mailed me loan documents that did not bear my written signature HOWEVER the documents they sent did prove my point that the account does n't belong to me. Per the documents sent to me by ad astra the social is NOT mine. I sent a copy of the documents THEY sent me to the XXXX main credit bureaus YET Ad Astra will not remove this account from my credit file. For 2 years I have proven and they have given evidence that this account does n't belong to me. They even transferred the account to an attorney who sued me and LOST because the personal information does n't match mine. The attorney removed their listing from my report but Ad Astra will not ALTHOUGH they personally sent me information proven that the file does n't belong to me. Please just remove this from my credit report.

There was a fraud alert on my credit report and somehow they keep saying that I need to prove to them that the debt is n't mine. I HAVE A FRAUD ALERT WHICH SHOULD HAVE FLAGGED THE ORIGINAL COMPANY SINCE IT WAS ON THERE WHEN WE MOVED BACK TO AMERICA, WHILE ON XXXX XXXX . Also I would n't have applied for a loan because service members and their families have special rules!

Complaint: I have received a letter for a debt that is not mine from a collection agency I have NO CONTRACT with. This collection agency has stated that I owe them {$1000.00} and is continuing to ruin my credit file. I have asked them to send paperwork bearing my signature for this supposed debt, stating there is a contract or I have an obligation to pay this claimed debt. I do not know who " AD ASTRA RECOVERY SERVICE '' is, nor do I have any type of contract with them that I am obligated to pay them or owe them money. This needs to be removed from my credit file immediately!

Complaint: In accordanc e to FCRA Section 609, t hese accounts was further disputed in XXXX XXXX . I advised AD Astra with a validation letter to prove this debt is mine. In addition, AD ASTRA has failed to send back the original documentation bearing my signature. Ad Astra Recovery did not respond to initial dispute within 30 days as allowed by the FCRA. They have continued to report inaccurate information and these XXXX accounts to XXXX credit bureaus. In accordance, they are bound by FCRA to remove alleged debt from that is being reported. It is now XXXX XXXX and way past 60 days when these accounts were initially disputed. Ad Astra Recovery Service has continued to attempt to collect debt that they know is not valid and not able to be verified. Multiple disputes in regards to this issue have been filed over this, including a previous dispute with CFPB. They have blatantly broken the law as they relate to FDCPA and FCRA guidelines. On more than one occas ion, I have tried to resolve this issue with them but they are refusing to follow the law in regards to this issue. The accounts need to be removed. They also stated that documentation was mailed to me which is false. Nothing since they placed these accounts on my reports has been mailed to me. The second issue is that it had been has been proven that the accounts are not valid, no information was provided to verify this account. They state that they are about professionalism but it is obvious that they are not. They have been deceitful, dishonest, and unprofessional in the manner that they have handled this issue fro m day one. I fe el that the only course of action is to file a civil suit which my attorneys have drafted up and will present with my signed petition. I am tired of dealing with this company and this issue. I will also be filing a complaint with the Attorney General as it is within my rights. They have made this process long and hard. Also they could not verify definitively that the accounts are mine and that they belonged on my credit. This is what I mean by dishonest and unprofesisonal business ethics and practices. They have cost me money in this process of disputing with them and this is getting out of hand. They stated that they have a right to collect but they indeed DO NOT by rights and provisions provided to consumers under FDCPA and FCRA. This harassment and blatant disregard for the law is what is have me want to seek damages from Ad Astra Recovery with filing legal suit against them.

Complaint: Supposedly I received a loan from XXXX that went to a bank account that my husband, who was an XXXX military member at the time, closed prior to the loan being taken out. I have asked this company several times to stop collecting on the debt and reporting the debt on my credit report. They have provided to me a XXXX XXXX open-end agreement that does n't have a signature but is typed in and their open end loan history that does n't say where the money went and where they were trying to get it from. From day 1 the loan payments came back as NSF but that account had already been closed. I just want this removed and/or taken care of so that I can buy a house. I was willing to settle the debt with XXXX just to get these debt collectors off my credit report but somehow they responded. I need your help!

Complaint: XXXX XXXX I filed an complaint about ad astra about information on my credit report that is not mine. The company responded and claimed they called me numerous times and sen t out 11 lett ers attempting to collect a debt. I never received any type of information from the company and they claimed to have sent a letter with the information and documents from the original creditor. They provided a tracking number. I checked the trackin g on 5-12 thinking I should have received some type of information in the mail after 10 days. Turns o ut the tracking number provided stated the letter was undeliverable. I filed disputes with the credit bureaus on fraudulent addresses that were listed on my credit report and the credit bureaus deleted the XXXX false addresses that I never lived at. I 'm not sure what address and phone number ad astra has on file of the alleged collection but none of the information is valid. I went ahead with the advice from the last complaint and filed an Id theft with the FTC.
