Complaint: On or aroundXX/XX/XXXX, I had fell upon very hard times and took out a payday loan from XXXX XXXX. I was unable to repay the loan according to the original terms and called XXXX XXXX to try and work things out. They told me the terms were no negotiable and my account would continue to be charged astronomical interest fees on a daily basis and be turned over to collections. As I was on fmla medical leave at the time with only a small portion of my normal pay I was unable to meet their demands. Several months later I received a mulitude of threatening emails, text messages, and phone calls from Ad Astra Recovery Services threatening to sue if I did not pay not only the original amount borrowed from XXXX XXXX but a few thousand dollars more in accrued interest and that they would keep charging my balance interest fees monthly until paid in full. I made arrangements to borrow money to pay off Ad Astra Recovery In Full in XX/XX/XXXX with a promise to pay in full for deleting their reporting to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ( Pay for deletion ). I went to their lawyers office on XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX and paid the original loan and interest in full as well as the additional accrued interests and charges they collected from me to prevent being sued. They were suppose to remove the remarks and account from my credit report but have not done so despite multiple and repeated credit reporting disputes. This account on my credit has caused me great harm financially and hurt my ability to secure a mortgage loan. I want Ad Astra Recovery, a third party collection agency to remove this information from all three bureau credit files permanently. They did not hold up their end of the bargain and I paid them over {$5000.00} for a loan that was thousands less than owed.

Complaint: I reached out to AD ASTRA collection company due to seeing their number listed on my report. The first thing I noticed is they are reporting on my credit report under " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' but when I call their number they say the name of the company is AD ASTRA. I sent A certified letter requesting debt validation as they have two accounts listed with open dates XX/XX/12 & XX/XX/2012 for A place by the name of XXXX XXXX. I have informed them via writting and over the phone that I have never done business with such company. And I requested That they send me debt validation showing original contracts showing that I had an contractual obligation to this company. Which they refused to send me. When I called the representative informed me they do not have to give me that information and if it wasn't me then they wanted me to send them A police report in order for them to look into this account. Their representative was very nasty and unwillinging to help. She continued to say things like " Your accounts '' when I repeatedly informed her those accounts where not mine and I have never agreed to business with such company. I asked to speak with A supervisor and was informed by the supervisor that they could not send debt validation unless I request so in writting ( Which I have already done ) She explained they didn't receive the request and I would need to send it again. I have been reauesting this information for some time now and seem to be at A dead end with this company. I also asked since AD ASTRA are the ones reporting on my credit report why where they reporting under A different name? This company seem like A scam! I am requesting legal original contracts validating this debt with my signatures or for this to be fully removed from my credit report or I will escalate this even further.
