Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Complaint: On my credit report it states that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is 100 % percent accurate. When clearly you could see the inaccurate information placed on my credit report. I tried disputing multiple times for inaccurate information such as, the terms, date open, account status, account type, payment status, account name, balance, company sold-to, and payment history. The account is clearly inaccurate. I sent the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX validation of debt letter and they failed to respond. Also, I sent them a letter due to that i do not have knowledge of the account. In which, this account have not been properly validated becuause clearly they are violated the law section 609, 611, 616, and 617 under the FDCRA and under FCRA. The credit bureaus states this account is 100 % accurate across every section of the account. They are violating my rights and my credit worthiness and defamation of my character.

Threatened to arrest you or take you to jail if you do not pay
Complaint: This is my third time filing a complaint against AD Astra Recovery Services. The last two complaints they state they are not calling and harassing me and that is a lie cause the calls keep on continuing. I have already spoke to a family member who is a paralegal today about their abusive collection tactics and she said they may say they are not the ones calling and making threats doesn't mean they didn't go outside of there company and hire a third party to do their dirty work for them. She states its a scare tactic that most collection agencies use and doesn't keep any records of the calls on their side and most companies that use third parties has been proven guilty of this in the past. The calls are being made from a unavailable number and is a middle eastern man and women calling me, my family and my job and I've demanded them to stop calling my place of employment. They don't keep anything confidential and telling them my financial business to them.

Debt is not yours
Complaint: In accordance to FCRA Section 609, this accounts was further disputed in XX/XX/XXXX. Ad Astra Recovery did not respond to initial dispute within 30 days as allowed by the FCRA. They have continued to report inaccurate information and this accounts to all 3 credit bureaus. In accordance, they are bound by FCRA to remove alleged debt from that is being reported. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and past 60 days when these accounts were initially disputed. Ad Astra Recovery Service has continued to attempt to collect debt that they know is not valid and not able to be verified. Multiple disputes in regards to this issue have been filed over this. They have blatantly broken the law as they relate to FDCPA and FCRA guidelines. The account needs to be removed. I will also be filing a complaint with the Attorney General as it is within my rights

Debt was paid
Complaint: The company states that After receipt of XXXX XXXX complaint and review of the payment history, we confirmed that our client has record of receiving a payment for XXXX. XXXX loan on XX/XX/XXXX. However this payment was returned to our client as a debit card chargeback on XX/XX/XXXX along with a notification from XXXX XXXX financial institution that she had disputed this transaction as a fraudulent charge, resulting in a refund to XXXX XXXX. We asked our client to confirm the amount of her account, and they found no inconsistency in relation to the amount of payments applied to XXXX XXXX loan.- AD ASTRA Recovery Service Inc .
The Original Creditor states XXXX XXXX obtained a loan in the principal amount of {$500.00} on XX/XX/XXXX using her personal XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) online account. The loan proceeds were deposited into the bank account XXXX XXXX provided at loan origination. XXXX XXXX loan account was placed in default status on XX/XX/XXXX when successful payment on the loan maturity date wasnt received. Thereafter, collections activities commenced as allowed by law. XXXX XXXX contacted XXXX XXXX to set up a payment arrangement, however, the agreed upon payments were not made. A review of the loan history reflects that XXXX XXXX initiated a collections payment for the past due balance on XX/XX/XXXX as authorized in the signed loan agreement, which paid the loan in full ; however, on XX/XX/XXXX, this payment was reversed by XXXX XXXX bank resulting in a chargeback and the balance being owed again.- A XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
Both companies made the above statements in regards to an initial complaint filed through the CFPB on XXXX, and the dates they specified as receiving payment and then a chargeback dont reflect the same days that are stated nor do they match the date reflected on either statement submitted.
Both companies state there was a charge back in the month of XX/XX/XXXX and if that were true there would be another amount of {$610.00} that doesnt reflect the charge of ( $ XXXX- on the date of XX/XX/XXXX ) with the transaction date showing XX/XX/XXXX.
Both companies denied the second payment of {$610.00} on XX/XX/XXXX because of the amount. All 3 Credit Reporting Agencies show a balance due of the said amount which is why I paid such amount.
XXXX XXXX states that I procured the loan via the XXXX XXXX website online which is in fact untrue because I went into a local branch in XXXX, AL @ XXXX XXXX XXXX.
Both companies state that they dont accept or report inaccurate debt amounts but all reporting agencies show otherwise. Again if you review the attached statements, you will see that there was no chargeback or credit awarded to my account in the amounts the companies recall. Any chargeback would be reflected on the statements as a Provisional Credit and as you can see there is none.

Debt is not yours
Complaint: I received a letter dated XX/XX/18 from Ad Astra Recovery Services , Inc. stating that I owed " XXXX XXXX '' a debt in amount of {$890.00}. I've never heard of either company, never have or have had accounts with either. I called Ad Astra and discussed the matter with a representative who suggested that this was due to identity theft, and that I should contact the Federal Trade Commission. The debt is now listed in my credit report ( the Ad Astra representative indicated that it had been ). I did report this to the FTC, which referred me to here I believe it was.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX, the lender in question, claims that I applied for and received a loan in the amount of {$300.00}, ( {$250.00} plus {$45.00} finance charge ). I have applied and received loans from XXXX XXXX in the past few years, and never had any problems at all, until now. I don't understand what happened. I took out a loan from them back in XX/XX/XXXX, to be repaid by my bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. As you can see in the enclosed bank statement, ( highlighted in yellow ), XXXX XXXX debited my account in the amount of {$300.00} as agreed, on XX/XX/XXXX. It was the way XXXX XXXX and I conducted business ; I applied for {$250.00} loan, and they would debit my account on the 3rd day of the following month, period. I never had any issues with regards to not paying my loans with them.
The loan I took out in XXXX was the last loan I obtained from them. No other loans were taken out. I attempted to take out more loans back in XX/XX/XXXX, but they denied my requests stating that a loan was " not paid '', and that I had an outstanding balance of {$300.00} which had to be paid right away. I had no idea what they were referring to. I tried talking to them, to their manager at the store location, but they told me that the loan had to be repaid. I still do not understand what happened here, or why they're claiming that I owe such alleged loan. I have inquired with my bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX, to see if maybe I overlooked something, but they have had not " requests for payment ( s ) from XXXX XXXX since the last payment was debited on XX/XX/XXXX. NO REQUESTS WHATSOEVER from XXXX XXXX. If I had in fact, taken out any loan ( s ), I'm sure XXXX XXXX would have had no problem debiting my bank account. At this point I do not know what to make of this matter. I am assuming that someone at the store location with XXXX XXXX made a mistake, because I have not taken a loan since the date above mentioned. One more thing, the name of the XXXX XXXX representative who signed the alleged contract at the alleged time of the loan, I do not recognize, since I remember most of the clerks ' names at this particular store location.

Debt was result of identity theft
Complaint: I've sent multiple letters to this agency about this not being my account. After being advised by identitytheft.gov, I've completed and sent a fraud affidavit via certified mail. I can see they received it, but nothing has changed. See supporting documents. Even the USPS tracking. My official complaint is against AD ASTRA. My information was used to obtain an apartment, cell phone, and an auto loan with my ex-partner. I am a victim of identity theft and have put this off for too long. I've completed the proper steps, 1. notify creditors 2. police report 3. informed the state of Texas. The individual I've suspected for this theft is now deceased, and the police department said to contact the federal trade commission to seek relief. These companies disregard laws and dont care whos credit or lives they impact.

Collected or attempted to collect exempt funds
Complaint: The Debt you are attempting to collect as a 3rd Party Debt Collector in questionable under current Federal monetary laws. Issue regarding collection practices, debt valuation and collection potential have led others to forgo collection rights with my challenge. These parties include : XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX.
What this should tell you, my initial arguments disputing this debt with you organization hold validity. Enough so, the prospect of reduced company valuation, adding definition to the identified monetary policy loops holes in the FCRA, or debt validation determining the validity of future collection potential as defined by the IRS and Treasury department that will impact the future of your industry. These factors represented enough risk to cease all collection efforts by the parties mentioned above.
Your collection attempt represents less this .03 % of 1 % of the debt I formerly held before this began in XX/XX/XXXX of this year. I am asking once again the collection item be removed with a mutual understanding no further actions will be taken on my part.
If true valuation occurred, it would be discovered I am monetarily exempt and earning under the federal poverty limit. I am preparing to cost your organization far more than the amount in active collection. This is your opportunity to assess the risk.
