Complaint: Just found out tonight that I have a social security variation on my XXXX credit file. I called XXXX and asked for the name of the creditor supplying the social security variation. They told me is was a debt collection company called Ad Astra Recovery. Id like to state I have the right to have correct and accurate information on all of my credit files. The social security number Ad Astra Recovery is using under my name puts me at risk for having my files mixed with this other person. They are blatantly ignoring the FCRA law. This social security number does not identity me on this account. I demand for Ad Astra Recovery to correctly update my personal identification number with all three credit bureaus or delete the account. The social security number Ad Astra Recovery is using in connection with this account does not identify me. They are reporting another individuals social security number under my name with all the credit reporting bureaus.

Complaint: I contacted the collection agency ( Ad Astra Recovery ) several times and they continue to tell me that they can not provide me with proof/paperwork showing my ownership of a debt for {$500.00} with XXXX XXXX taken out in XX/XX/2013. I told them its on my 3 credit reports and is the only negative item. I disputed the {$500.00} several times and still can not get proof of this debt. I was told that they flagged the debt as fraud and to provide a police report then they will investigate. XXXX County refuses to let me file a police report from a debt dispute from XX/XX/2013. I am going in circles and this is my worse nightmare.

Complaint: I took out a loan with XXXX XXXX somewhere between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX.I filed Chapter XXXX bankruptcy on XX/XX/18 and contacted XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and provided them with the Bankruptcy case number and my attorneys information. My attorneys office has also contacted this company regarding my case. We had the meeting of the creditors on XX/XX/XXXX and none of my creditors were there. I have continued to receive calls from XXXX XXXX until I blocked their number on XX/XX/XXXX.They have now reported me to a collection agency called Recovery Services/Astra Recovery and I received a call from their office today telling me that they are calling to collect a debt. I explained to the caller that I had filed a Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy case and XXXX XXXX was notified on numerous occasions about this date being included. He stated that I did not know what he was calling about I told him I did because I XXXX the phone number and in the comments section it states that this is a debt collector for XXXX XXXX.He asked me to verify my information and I responded I will not.

Complaint: Ad Astra Recover Services has listed an alleged debt on my three credit reports which I have no firsthand knowledge of and no contract in existence proving the debt reported is legally valid. No solicitation of service was ever performed and no request for the services this organization provides was ever requested by me. I have sent two certified letters dated XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018 requesting verification that the alleged debt is mine, including any documents bearing my signature agreeing to this alleged debt. Ad Astra Recovery Services. has responded to the letter from XX/XX/2018 with a printout of an itemized document ; however, they have not responded at all to my second letter request for signature validation of alleged debt dated XX/XX/2018 which also informed them that according to FTC opinion letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX, a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification. I have yet to receive any verifiable contract or document bearing my signature or a second response ; however, they are still reporting inaccurate information and have not reported the account as disputed on my credit reports. I am very serious about my credit and their inaccurate reporting has caused damage to my credit, my ability to get credit and my reputation. I am requesting that since they can not provide indisputable proof bearing my signature of the alleged debt that this account be removed from all three credit reports and that this collection agency cease and desist from trying to collect from me.

Problem with personal statement of dispute
Complaint: I initially disputed this item in XX/XX/XXXX to have it verified and validated. I received notice that the debt was verified but did not receive proper documentation in accordance with both my request and according to the FDCPA, FCPA, along with the corresponding local state laws in which I have and do reside in. I was also advised that the account would be listed as disputed in their updates to the credit reporting agencies. However, as required by the FDCPA Section 807 ( 8 ) this was not done. I was to find out that this has not been done as far out as even my XX/XX/XXXX reporting period. I made a 2nd attempt sending a letter in XX/XX/XXXX, to request proper validation only to receive the same incorrect documentation which still is in violation of the aforementioned regulations. On the XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a final goodwill letter to request that the company place the " notice of dispute '' on my account within the period required by law, which again was and has not been done even though I received the same form letter stating that it would be. Lastly, after searching the Secretary of State 's Debt Collector 's Database and finding no information, I submitted a request to the company to produce proof of a valid debt, as well as advising them of the " notice of dispute '' issue, and also requesting that they produce confirmation that they were legally bonded to collect debts in my state. This letter was sent out on the XX/XX/XXXX and signed for on the XXXX of the same month. To date, I have not received any proof that this company was or is in possession of a Surety Bond for my state and the last letter I have received from them was on the XX/XX/XXXX which was another form letter exactly the same as all the rest but still not in compliance with the applicable laws.

Due to me being a recent victim fraud several months ago I notice inaccurate things showing on my credit report, AD SATRA RECOVERY SERVICES is certainly one of them. I was recently in a XXXX XXXX because of my health contions and now to see a collection company trying to put me back in the hospital again. This is not an my account and I demand that it be removed.
