Complaint: AD Astra Recovery Services is threatening me and suing me for a debt that I do not owe. I have never heard of the merchant nor do I have a Contract with them nor are they licensed to collect in the State of Texas. Those are 3 different violations that entitles me to {$5000.00} per Violation If it doesn't get removed off my Credit Report. The State of Limitations in the state of Texas is 6 years & its past that time for them to collect in the state even If they were bonded to collect and it was indeed my Debt. You have 30 Days to remove such Debt or I will be filing a Civil Suit against your entire company and be forced to present yourself in the court of law.

As I check my credit I see that the debt was closed and have been closed for months and I want this deleted off of my credit. I tried contacting the company but they will not remove the deleted account off.

I HAVE A NEGATIVE DEBT OPENED XX/XX/XXXX, TOTALING {$740.00} ON MY CREDIT REPORT, THAT I AM UNAWARE OF. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY OF THE INFORMATION I REQUESTED AND THE AMOUNT IS UPDATED MONTHLY.
I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY WRITTEN VERIFICATION OF LOAN DOCUMENTS FROM AD ASTRA/XXXX XXXX OR XXXX. AS A CONSUMER I FIND IT UNACCEPTABLE AND UNFAIR TO PLACE THIS ITEM ON MY CREDIT REPORT WITHOUT ANY PROOF OR JUSTIFICATION.
UNTIL ANY DOCUMENTATION IS SUBMITTED AND RECEIVED BY ME IN WRITING, I WOULD LIKE IT REMOVED FROM ALL CREDIT BUREAUS IMMEDIATELY.

I can see they received it, but nothing has changed. See supporting documents. Even the USPS tracking.My official complaint is against AD ASTRA. My information was used to obtain an apartment, cell phone, and an auto loan with my ex-partner. I am a victim of identity theft and have put this off for too long. I've completed the proper steps, 1. notify creditors 2. police report 3. informed the state of Texas.

I currently live in Texas and have always resided in Texas. I have checked the website of my secretary of State with the information they provided on my credit report. My search concluded that they ARE NOT BONDED in the state of TEXAS. Not only that, I have sent several 609 letters asking for them to " Verify '' the information that they are reporting because these debts are not mine and doesn't belong to me. They have yet to provide adequate proof and still reports on my credit. Complaint: I have put a dispute in with XXXX about my Ad Adstra acct that they continue to report as validated and correct. I spoke with Ad Astra and they have informed me that this is incorrect and they reported to XXXX that this acct is unreportable and they are unsure of why the tradeline is still on my credit profile with XXXX. I informed that I have explained this to XXXX on multiple phone calls and disputes online and they still will not honor what is being reported by the company Ad Adstra. I have a recording of the phone call between me and ad adstra and this proves what I am saying. It can be validated with the company and the supervisor XXXX that I spoke with on what was told to me. I am feeling that the last resort in this case if this and reporting to the CFPB does not work that I must continue with my legal advice and seek litigation from this company. The call that I have recorded was OK 'd to be recorded by both parties and it was also recorded on the colletors end. All other bureaus have complied except XXXX and I am not sure why.

Complaint: Contacted this agency to let them know one the amount that they were trying to collect was wrong. That I never received an amount close to that and that some of what I did receive was paid already. They did not want to here that and told me I had to pay all or nothing. Just dispute it. Which I have done to no avail. The amount is wrong and is almost double. I asked for a settlement and they said the settlement is the whole amount.
