Complaint: Caller id recovery services XXXX Started about XXXX weeks ago. I have already answered, had the call fail, callback, have them look up my phone number. Ask for a supervisor. Told them my name, my wifes, and all our cell phones Given them our ssn.. They have no debt that we owe, yet they call use practically daily. We have received nothing via mail. They are not at all helpful and most of the time hang up. XX/XX/XXXX called, tried to answer press 1, call failure called back explained situation, got hung up on called back a second time spoke with XXXX who was going to forward to supervisor. I asked if they would ever acutally call me, the answer was no XX/XX/XXXX XXXX - called, answered, press 1, call failure call back spoke with lady. Gave my name and number XX/XX/XXXX XXXX - called, i answered. Spoke with gentleman, told him story and that we are not the lady. We have had this number for ten years. Complaint: I've sent multiple letters to this agency about this not being my account. After being advised by identitytheft.gov, I've completed and sent a fraud affidavit via certified mail. I can see they received it, but nothing has changed. See supporting documents. Even the USPS tracking.My official complaint is against AD ASTRA. My information was used to obtain an apartment, cell phone, and an auto loan with my ex-partner. I am a victim of identity theft and have put this off for too long. I've completed the proper steps, 1. notify creditors 2. police report 3. informed the state of Texas.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted my original complaint against Ad Astra and their attempts to collect a debt that was included in bankruptcy. They responded back stating that they had contacted me several times, which included mailing " 12 '' letters and voice recordings of me saying that the debt was not included in the bankruptcy. Which they did not provide. They sent 4 letters, 2 for each account. On one letter dated XX/XX/XXXX and one dated XX/XX/XXXX that notate my current address printed on it, which was not my address at either of those dates. They also stated that the bankruptcy was filed in XXXX of XXXX and discharged in XXXX of XXXX, which is incorrect. The paperwork they sent via certified mail did not bear a signature and several incorrect pieces of identifying information ; phone number, time at residence, and employment. Ad Astra also stated that they had properly validated this debt on previous occasions when I disputed it via the 3 national credit bureaus, which they never provided any documentation. What they have asked is that I provide them copies of the bankruptcy to verify my complaints. Which is the opposite of the company validating the debt to prove they are entitled to collect. They did not provide " documentation '' until I submitted my complaint with this agency. It makes me wonder when Ad Astra received this " documentation. '' Since submitting my complaint to this agency, I have found out that this debt has reached the State of Texas ' Statue of Limitations and it is not clear if Ad Astra is eligible to collect in Texas since their surety bond company is no longer accepted as a surety bond company according to the Texas XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX website.
