Complaint: XXXX XXXX, XXXX at XXXX dealership, inquired about their ad on change car. Sales showed me 3 Certified XXXX XXXX autos, drove one. Liked it, price reasonable, had the accessories I wanted. Inside dealership, sales tells me he can't sell me 'that ' cat, but can sell me other one. Told me it's the same, just different color. Was promised price would lower. I explained to him, will not have packages added, alert your finance man, he agreed. When I met with finance mgr., he told me my trade-in price. This was the only info he gave me. Explained I can not afford high payment. Sat for 2 hours in small room, no ventilation. Due to my back failure, told finance I had to walk. Doing so, sales told me I was approved, you have to remove items from your car. Doing so, called to finance office, he told me to sign in few places. I asked for the break down in numbers, he explained numbers, made no sense, repeated this to me again. Interest rate never said to me, or car does not have the accessories you wanted. Outside again, removing items, sales came to me : " finance made error, just initial here ''. This point, in pain I did. Receive some paperwork, drove 3 miles home. Once home I looked at oil level, ( 15 % ), called sales, told come back in am early. Plus remote key not working. If 'Pre-Certified ', all should have been checked. Next day met with sales, told him contract is packed with items I never requested, plus high rate of interest 18 %. His response ; if you cancel package, you will have to pay for the oil change! Outraged, told him to cancel it, & finance mgr. Sent via fax, telephone & mail, to finance mgr to remove & adjust contract. 45 days later Honda Corp, upon my form request removed 2 packages, deducted funds from total loan. Interest never changed. Since XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX, replaced battery twice, radio electronics repaired.

Complaint: Dear Sir or Madam, This letter is intended to request the Honda Financial Services to remove a negative mark that was annotated on my credit report. In 2016, my XXXX XXXX car lease ( account # *** ) expired and my account was closed ( return date and last payment : XX/XX/2016 ). Payment was provided to Honda in person at their dealership at the time of the ownership closeout. Honda however did not update their records and continued charging a property tax under my name for another full year on a car that I didnt own. Honda submitted their bill to collections and now my score has lost over 100 points. The issue was resolved with Honda as they received proof from the DMV that showed the XXXX XXXX has not been registered in my possession for over two years. I am attaching the same proof the DMV provided to show the car was not in my possession at the time of the annual property tax requirement. I am asking the credit bureau to remove the negative mark given the circumstances and proof furnished in this letter ( and attachment ). Supporting Document Enclosed : - DMV Proof of registration cancellation.

Complaint: I was 100 % paying customer until I got into car wreck that all most took my life, literally. I was in a XXXX for 2 months and then in there XXXX for a month. At the middle of XXXX my family knew I was going to buy a veteran assistance loan, so they got in touch with all credit cards and loans. Honda financial wouldn't give them any information but they took insurance info, gap info and what I owed as deductable but wouldnt give them info on my payments they say I missed. I missed none and told them they dont care if I am XXXX because their car didnt release airbags. Now they ruined my credit while they knew checks from insurance and extra insurance with their company called XXXX. Anyways I am out of first step but deeply depressed I might never walk again and they want take back late payments when in XXXX, XXXX. They are shameless and triffling. They got money for car but wont realaste to credit companies.

Complaint: My history with Honda shows I have only one late payment that was paid within 30 days. This was a loan for my first car ( new ). Purchased in XXXX. Paid off in XXXX. The single late payment was in XX/XX/XXXX. Payments were {$310.00} minimum and I would add more to pay down principal. The account is closed as the loan was paid off in full. I believe throughout the duration of this loan we set up auto-pay so it would always pay on time. Never late. This single late payment is negatively impacting my credit score and lenders always mention it to me.

XXXX/Honda financial is showing a lease on my personal credit report, one that is NOT in my name as borrower or co-borrower. I am however listed as a GUARANTOR on ( 2 ) XXXX leases. A XXXX XXXX and a XXXX XXXX. However, I am not a borrower or co-borrower. The ( 2 ) leases mentioned above are ONLY in the name of a business, which is " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX " XXXX XXXX, myself and the dealer, XXXX XXXX, all have copies of the contracts that proves both of the above. Neither of these leases should be showing up at all on my personal credit reports unless the business were to default on the leases With XXXX/Honda Financial. He has a new lease with Honda which I believe they should have roll the excess mileages in the price. I should not be involved with any new deals that Honda or my kid did. My credit is in jeopardy please help..

Complaint: My wife of 4 years had substandard credit and I co-signed a loan with her for a new Honda 2 years ago financed through American Honda. On XX/XX/2019 we began the process to buy a new home, which requires a " pre approval '' letter. As part of this, we consulted our credit ratings on XXXX XXXX. The loan, {$25000.00}, is showing on both of our accounts, even though it is a single loan for {$25000.00} and payments are current. This reporting indicates to creditors that we owe a total of {$51000.00}, which is not true. There should be a note on one account that this is either not owed, and is a contingent liability, or some other way to report than as a double obligation. On XX/XX/2019 I contacted American Honda and they said that the only way to correct this error in their reporting is for us to re-finance the loan. That would be at a higher rate. I would say that this approach by American Honda is a poor business practice and that using their faulty credit approach to report this as two loans is not fair or equitable and is inaccurate in regard to the actual situation. We have a single loan for {$25.00} K, not 2 loans, to put it succinctly.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I executed a clause in my lease that states if I get an appraisal and it comes out above the owed value, I can turn it in. This was the case, but the dealership ( Honda ) failed in sending the vehicle return receipt after giving me grief because they didn't understand the clause. Several times in XXXX I had to call the dealership and Honda Financial Services after I was charged {$250.00} for my XXXX payment, even though I executed the clause on XX/XX/XXXX, which should have ceased all payments thereafter. I completed the vehicle return receipt again mid-XXXX and the rep at HFS closed out the lease. Later, I was asked to send proof that I turned in the plates. I did that on XXXX/XXXX/19 and faxed the document to ( XXXX ) XXXX. I then called at least 5 times on XX/XX/XXXX and they argued with me, hung up on me, and placed me on hold 2 times and never came back. They refused to transfer me to a manager and stated the dealership needed to pay me the money. HFS and the dealership are under the same umbrella for ownership and they need to remedy their mistake. They also stated the vehicle return receipt was not on file, which it had to of been.

Complaint: On either XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX, I visited XXXX XXXX XXXX, and spoke with salesman XXXX XXXX. I needed to turn in my XXXX leased XXXX, and get another, leased or financed vehicle. Mr. XXXX turned me over to a finance manager, who confirmed what Mr. XXXX had already told me : I must make a down payment on a new car before also agreeing to pay a car note. Mr. XXXX had said I needed to put down {$15000.00} ; and the manager said I needed to put down {$2000.00}. Why? I was in open Chapter XXXX bankruptcy ( a fact that Honda Finance already knows ). So what if I have made timely payments to Honda, for the entire 3 years and 3 months I have had this car, says Mr. XXXX and the finance manager. Honda 's " policy '' is that Honda doesn't finance people in bankruptcies/past bankruptcies. I told them, no, I should not have to put money down, since I have a long history with Honda ( at least 20 years! ), and since Honda knows first-hand that I make timely payments. ( I made all payments on my leased car both before and during my open bankruptcy! Made those payments directly to Honda Finance, electronically through my checking account )! I was disappointed, but not surprised as I left this dealership. I had already gotten a runaround from XXXX XXXX in XXXX NJ, where I got my now leased car that must be returned XX/XX/XXXX to Honda. And XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX also gave me a runaround. The XXXX XXXX XXXX dealership kept me in the dealership for at least 4 hours, only to tell me Honda failed to approve allowing for me to roll into a new, purchase deal on my same car that I now drive as a lease customer. That sounded logical. But the deal did not go through. I now complain that Honda should : allow for me to at least buy my leased car that is due back to them on XX/XX/XXXX, since Honda has before it, the proof of my timely payments to them, on this car! And if Honda will not budge on its " policy '' of not financing bankruptcy customers - unless they pay {$2000.00} upfront? - Honda should at least report my good leased vehicle payments history to the credit bureaus. Right now, Honda seems content with leaving me between a rock and a hard place. I must turn in my leased car by XX/XX/XXXX, but I can't get repeat financing from Honda ( ludicrous ), since I have filed Chapter XXXX bankruptcy. Never mind that I managed to pay Honda on time during the ongoing bankruptcy repayment plan! And since Honda fails to show my most recent credit history, I am stuck with not getting another, new vehicle! What non-Honda dealership will even look at me, when they see I not only have bankruptcy on my record, but an old, XXXX Honda report of late payments that gradually were made in full. That is kind of a lie. I turned back in my XXXX in XXXX, since I knew I could not keep struggling with the high payments. And XXXX XXXX took it away, and got me into another, Honda finance deal, on the XXXX that I now drive leased! Give me a break, Honda! I have been with you for too long for you to play these fiscal games with me, at a time when you know I am vulnerable!

Complaint: I co-signed for my son-in-law 's XXXX Honda XXXX on a 3-year lease in XX/XX/XXXX. On the lease application, I submitted my home address and phone number that was different from my son-in-law 's address and phone number. Apparently, he was late in making payments but Honda did not notify me of this by mail nor by phone. It wasn't until I saw it on my credit report in XXXX as a negative inquiry that I learned of his delinquency. I contacted Honda in XXXX, explained that I had not been given notice nor the opportunity to pay the debt myself. They told me that Honda considers co-signers to be " co-applicants '', and that they didn't have to notify me of the delinquency. They refused to remove the negative mark from my report. In checking my credit reports recently, I see that Honda re-reported this negative inquiry in XX/XX/XXXX. It has been almost 8 years since I co-signed this Honda lease in an attempt to help my son-in-law. Since then, he has turned in the lease for the XXXX, paid in full, closed the account and received approval ( without me as co-signor ) for a new XXXX Honda XXXX three-year lease which he has since turned in, paid in full. How long can Honda continue to make my credit rating suffer? Again, I just contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX to request removal of this negative mark from my credit report and they refuse.

Complaint: I did not sign up for this American Honda Finance Corporation account with the balance of {$3000.00}. I did not give anyone consent or authorization to use my information for this account. I did not benefit in any way from this account. This account is FRAUDULENT and is a result of IDENTITY THEFT. I have filed a police report with the XXXX Police Department, a FTC Report with the Federal Trade Commission. I disputed this fraudulent account with American Honda Finance Corporation several times and they keep denying it. Back in XX/XX/2014 I was a victim of Identity Theft when someone opened a XXXX XXXXXXXX Credit card, a XXXX account, rented furniture from the XXXX XXXX, and also financed a car in my name. American Honda Finance Corporation is the only company of the four that denied my request to have the fraudulent account removed from off my credit report. I filed a police report as well as a FTC report.

The inaccurate information is hurting my credit and ability to apply for credit. I have tried to repeatedly contact American Honda Finance and all 3 credit bureaus about the inaccurate payment history on my account.
