Complaint: I was told through oral communication that in order to get a loan for a lease on the new vehicle, I would have to share the detail to the car dealer. And that it would be only a soft pull on my account and not a hard inquiry. They gave me a form and I was asked to fill the details, which I had to provide to them, hoping that it would be only a soft inquiry. The sales representative I dealt with was by the name XXXX. After getting my ssn and other details, they made me wait for hours together, telling me that they were trying to get me a loan approval for the lease. And I didn't know what happened in the background and I was made to wait for hours. And finally I left since there was no response from them. They didn't provide me any details or ask my permission for trying with more than one vendor, they simply used my details to play around and I had to sit there and wait on the premise that something was delaying for a simple soft pull on my account. I was misused for their business strategy and they wanted to run through my details to all lenders. I figured out this only after looking at my credit karma report, showing multiple hard impacts. When I checked my XXXX XXXX account for XXXX, i realized that there were two hard inquires on the same day XXXX the XXXX. Which I never authorized. I was mislead in saying that it is supposed to be a soft pull and got exploited of the business tactics. I would have never gone in for a hard inquiry if I had known, because I already knew that it wouldn't have been a right thing to do. Kindly do the needfull. I feel very bad for being exploited.

Complaint: At the end of the lease, we refinance the loan away from Honda financial. We no longer had credit with them. When taxes came due on the vehicle, the city of XXXX sent Honda financial a bill. This bill should have came to us. Honda paid the bill. They then started posting late credit payments on our credit reports for late payment to a loan that was closed. We attempted to resolve this with Honda financial. We reimbursed them the money they paid the city of XXXX and told them that we did not ask them to do that for us and did not agree to any credit terms for those payments. They are refusing to remove those late payments on our reports. Currently myself and my the co-owner of the Honda Pilot are showing a 30 and a 60 day late for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. we did not have a loan or credit agreement with Honda Financial at this time.

Complaint: I returned my lease to XXXX and was told I did not owe anything and all payments were paid. On my auto credit report said balance due {$0.00} and on the XXXX XXXX XXXX website as well also said {$0.00}. Now I received a bill of {$380.00} after account has been closed and Balance is at {$0.00}. There was no excess mileage or damage and I was of any future charges I would be responsible for until now. My husband is currently XXXX XXXX XXXX and I am unemployed but currently only receiving financial help from family at the time and I can not afford to pay this amount and dont understand what why I am being informed of this being owed after I returned the lease and account was closed.

Complaint: I have been contacted at XXXX for a consumer by the name of XXXX XXXX. I received 4 calls starting on Thursday and have told the person calling on a auto dialer that this is not XXXX phone. After I got a call today I called back and asked for a manager to be sure the matter had been resolved and the person answering the phone refused a manager. This is not only harassing, it is also a violation of the TCPA. I have never given this company permission to call my cell phone with an auto dialer.

Complaint: My husband and I leased aXXXX XXXX XXXX VIN No. XXXX and regularly paid the monthly lease payments for 36 months. When the lease was about to expire we inquired with te XXXX Honda dealer about our options. Wewanted to understand whether it would be more advantageous to turn in the vehicle and pay the fees associated with the extra mileage/damages to the car or trade the vehicle in for a new car on terms adjusted to account for such extra mileage/damages. Ms. XXXX XXXX ( buying advisor at the Honda dealer in XXXX ) wrote to us on XX/XX/XXXX stating Iwill be honest with you XXXX, I can't promise you any pricing until you come in and get an appraisal done. They have to see your vehicle because that works into the final numbers. On XX/XX/XXXX, Ms. XXXX wrote that That's fine XXXX, we'll do the appraisal and then get the numbers and you can make your decision. Make sure they ask for me when they come in. As a result, we brought the XXXX XXXX in so that it could be appraised and make an informed decision as to the best course of action. Thereafter, the dealer prepared an offer for a walk away at XXXX down + XXXX per month. On XX/XX/XXXX we wrote to Ms. XXXX with the following counteroffer if you can grant us XXXX miles per year instead of XXXX, we will sign your offer XXXX ( walk away at XXXX down + XXXX ). Please confirm or reject. On XX/XX/XXXX, Ms XXXX answered My Manager agreed to the deal, he needs to know what color you were looking for as we have to get one in for you. Our decision to trade in the leased carwas based on the terms presented to me as a walk away after Honda had the opportunity to appraise the XXXX to find out the cost associated with the extra mileage/damages on the car. The agreement was to trade in and walk away from the old XXXX for a newHonda AND pay a higher amount to cover for the damages associated with extra mileage and wear/tear of the trade in. Absent the walk away option we would have never accepted Hondas offer and would have turned in the vehicle without committing to a new lease at a much higher price for additional 2 years. Any attempt to provide a different interpretation of the facts as detailed above is clearly contradicted by the correspondence exchanged with the Honda dealer and contrary to the most basic common sense. Honda is now demanding payment of {$6600.00} in connection with the XXXX XXXX XXXX recover the damages to the old car even though they agreed to a walk away in exchange for a higher lease payment ( almost {$700.00} per month ) on the new XXXX XXXX XXXX car my husband and I leased after turning in the XXXX car. They are attempting to collect twice for the same item.

Complaint: Hi, for the past 4 months I've been going back and forth the credit reporting agencies regarding these accounts in question and the reason for this is because I know that these accounts are being reported incorrectly. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 609 ) it is my right to challenge any account in my credit if I believe they are being reported inaccurate, unverifiable or incomplete. I believe they are and some of them have been corrected on some of the bureaus and some have not. I would like to make this complaint to show the level of urgency I have towards this matter. If you can please help I would really appreciate it. These accounts have to be deleted since they are holding my credit scores back and I'm looking to use my credit soon to make a major purchase. He paid the debt in full in a month or so in XXXX. I was not aware this was on my credit report. Secondly, I had an automobile financed with XXXX XXXX XXXX that was paid off in XXXX. They attempted to reposes a vehicle I had with them but I caught up the payment and they withdrew the repossession order. They car was later paid off by the insurance company due to it being totaled.

Complaint: I am really upset that Honda reported me as being 30 days late in XX/XX/XXXX, 60 days late in XX/XX/XXXX, and then 90 days late in XX/XX/XXXX. I had a mortgage company pull my credit report and noticed that the erroneous delinquincy they are reporting is hurting my credit score by over 100 points. I have never had a late payment with any creditors in my life. But the fact that Honda is, I was denied. Now I did look at my credit report and see that they are reporting my high credit or limit at {$370.00} for this car which is not true so I did my investigation and saw that this is actually a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Ac. Why is it that a company like this can hurt my credit when it was something that I paid? I never received proper notification or any phone calls that I owed this money.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I completed a preapproval application with XXXX XXXX for a new vehicle loan. This was a preapproval, soft credit pull. I verified this with a real person at location. On XX/XX/2019 I applied for the loan and was approved and purchased the new vehicle. On XX/XX/2019 I was called by XXXX XXXX and asked to unlock my credit report again. I did not understand why I needed to unlock for the second time but It was explained to me by the sales manager, the salesperson as well as the FINANCE MANAGER that only 1 inquiry would result overall. Much to my surprise on XX/XX/2019 I received another hard inquiry from Honda Finance and also my contract had to be rewritten and resigned. I only ever authorized 1 inquiry. I contacted XXXX XXXX regarding this and am still waiting on the promised phone call that's never going to happen. Honda Finance representative told me when I called in to get a copy of the contract in regards to the second inquiry, " her supervisor said thats just the way it is '' and this can be verified because the calls are alledegly recorded for quality assurance. I tried disputing the inquiry for Honda Finance with XXXX but was told by rep that Honda Finance would have to submit electronically a form to remove the inquiry. This is shady business practices and I will share my story to impact Hondas sales. Thanks so much for your time.
