Complaint: The beginning of the loan was easy I speak better English than the rest if my household butntines became tough and I was forced to work more than 17 hours a day and that's when the threatening calls came in. They began to threaten my family with legal actions and my wife was told I could end up in jail for not paying the amount set by XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I asked for proof of the debt I was ignored and told to work harder and to speak better English. More importantly when my wife attempted to pay the debt there was not a XXXX version on the site allowing her to understand what Honda financial services would ask her to do to complete payment. Second and not less important the letters that came from Honda where mornin XXXX and my English was not as great as it is now. Honda should not be allowed to sell loans and then resell the debt while taking advantage of a clear misconduct and ingornace of the Fair Lending Act and DMV REGULATIONS.

The agent seemed to have less patience and willingness to speak upon finding out we were XXXX American. Under the terms of the lease based on California State Law for Equity in real colleterial, I was entitled to As the recipient and executor of the Estate I was entitled to take over the vehicle contract. American Honda received notification but chose to ignore the will or my right to exercise the contract. Then they told me I had no rights with the vehicle.

Complaint: I was a co-signor on my son 's lease on a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that concluded and the car returned to XXXX around XXXX, XXXX with all payments made. I was not aware of an outstanding balance related to excess mileage until I saw it on my credit report, at which time I immediately paid the balance in early XXXX. In questioning XXXX XXXX customer service as to why I never received any notice about this outstanding balance, they informed me that they notified my son and since he lived a the same address, they considered me notified too. Just because XXXX adults live at the same address does not mean they are aware of each others mail. As I have had perfect credit my entire life, the charge-off entry on my credit report has had a disastrous effect on my XXXX XXXX, resulting in lowering of credit lines and rejections on basic credit applications. I have leased XXXX XXXX vehicles through XXXX XXXX in the past 15 years with no derogatory credit items, and for that matter I have never had a derogatory item on my credit reports. The attached letter is XXXX I am sending tomorrow as a follow up to the XXXX other letters and XXXX faxes sent previously with no response.

Complaint: After resolving an issue with Honda involving the abuse of a POA, HONDA and myself reached a resolution which involved me paying a portion of the account and removing the tradeline completely or reporting the tradeline as PIF with no derogatory remarks. However, after receiving the payment which I only made to remove ALL negative remarks, due to me proving Honda was partially responsible for the vehicle being unlawfully possessed, HONDA instead updated the report to indicate " Settled for less, $ $ written off '', which is STILL a negative derogatory remark that indicates the account was not in a satisfactory condition. This has continued to prevent me from XXXX or progressing due to the account still negatively impacting my security clearance.

Complaint: American Honda Financial was paid all of the money due on the contract. When the payment was made on their website, it did not specify that there would be any delay releasing the title if I paid via the website. Now, they are refusing to release the lien on the vehicle. They have received all money due under the contract, and I have proof of such. I have asked them to release the lien, and they have still refused to offer assistance. I have attached proof from American Honda 's own website which shows I have paid off the vehicle, and that the vehicle has a {$0.00} balance.

Complaint: American Honda Finance Company put a lien on my car title on a car that I paid for with cash. I have never had a loan with AHFC, but they refuse to remove the lien. An AHFC rep told me I could have the tile cleared through XXXX. I paid {$48.00} to XXXX and received and notarized letter from AFHC clearing the lien, but my title still has a lien from AFHC, and they refuse to clear it. ( For some reason, there is not paper title, just an electronic one. ) I can not sell the vehicle because I can not get my title. AFHC refuses to explain why or how there is a lien on my vehicle. I have asked many times. AFHC refuses to work with the Honda dealership for where I purchased the vehicle to remove the lien. AFHC asked my for sales paperwork on a car that I bought nine years ago in anticipation the I would not still have it. I do have it, and I faxed it to them. The paperwork reflects a cash payment in full for the vehicle, but they still refuse to release the lien. AFHC likes to play this game where they put you on hold, I guess with the hopes that you will just hang up. Yesterday, my phone show that I was on a call with AFHC for 55 minutes. About 50 minutes of this time was me on hold.

Complaint: This is an on going issue with the company. I recently had an investigation done into the matter and as of XX/XX/19 it is complete. In which, XXXX conducted an investigation into the issue and verified information on the account regarding an XXXX XXXX. According to XXXX, the results were in fact that I did at one point have the account and Honda updated the account as the balance was paid in full as per Honda Financial Services and I never missed one payment while in possession. I received the results of the investigation in the mail today. IT IS MY RIGHT UNDER FCRA 623 ( b ) ( 1 ) ( D ) TO HAVE ANY AND ALL INCORRECT INFORMATION CORRECTED OR DELETED IF THEY CAN NOT VERIFY THE FACTS OF THE MATTER, WHICH IS THAT THIS ACCOUNT STILL HAS ERRORS. Number one, the account is listed as a charge-off. If the balance is in fact paid in full as reported and I owe {$0.00} as per the investigation this is severely misrepresented. A CHARGE OFF OCCURS WHEN THE NUMBER OF DAYS SINCE THE MOST RECENT PAYMENT REACHES 120 DAYS WITHOUT PAYMENT. THIS WOULD MAKE THE ACCOUNT DELINQUENT AND NO LONGER CONSIDERED CURRENT. This does NOT reflect my account at all. If i was delinquent Honda would not have updated the account as paid in full after Transunion 's investigation. I never missed one payment therefore the account does not fall under a charge off. It's just a closed account. I have the results of the investigation if need be.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I turned in a used XXXX XXXX XXXX that was purchased at XXXX of XXXX XXXX due to the vehicle not being what I initially asked for. In order to get me out of that vehicle, they recommended that I lease a XXXX XXXX XXXX. However, with this transaction, a cancellation needed to be done on a warranty contract in regards to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was told that all I had to do was call the company XXXX XXXX, XXXX to cancel and that would be all. Unfortunately, after the paperwork was signed, the statement in regards to the warranty contract was untrue ; once, I spoke to XXXX XXXX, XXXX. They advised that XXXX needed to send them a cancellation check. I contacted XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX dept and spoke with XXXX who was the person who signed off on the XXXX lease. I was once again told that it wasn't a loan and there shouldn't be a problem for me to cancel. I ended up back and forward between XXXX and XXXX XXXX, XXXX in regards to the issue. I submitted a complaint here in XXXX in lieu of the harassment I was receiving from XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX as of date hasn't fixed the issue. Complaint # : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX after rebuttal emails and phone conversations telling them to contact XXXX whom also told them to contact him approximately 2 years ago, refuses to contact the dealership and has been harassing me since XXXX. XXXX needs to fix this issue. I've tried to solve this through XXXX when it first happened and once they had the sell, and I got stuck with a high monthly payment ; they seemingly didn't care to resolve this issue at all. XXXX XXXX, XXXX attempted to contact me on XX/XX/XXXX.

The car was financed from XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of XXXX which was disbursed to the dealership on XX/XX/2019. The funds should have been used to pay it off Honda Financial loan but as of XX/XX/2019 it never happened. I dealt with XXXX XXXX, Finance Manager and the general manager at XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( General Manager ) who have under the pretense of a recent purchase of the dealership that occurred on XX/XX/2019 continue to find all excuses not to transfer the funds.
