Complaint: I spoke with American Honda Finance Corporation numerous times from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX over an amount of {$170.00}. I was setup on auto-pay for the duration of the lease, and I was not notified my last payment would not be auto-paid. I did not receive any notice of owing a final payment until I started receiving collection calls at work. This was resolved in XX/XX/XXXX after I made the final payment. I was assured by American Honda Finance Corporation this would not appear on my credit report after the dispute was settled. I am confused why my report shows I was delinquent on this account from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX, because the timeline doesn't match up. They also agreed to contact the appropriate credit bureaus to remove this delinquency from my report after admitting there was some clear miscommunication on their end.

Complaint: I took out a new car loan in XX/XX/2019 with Honda Financial. I got behind on one payment in XX/XX/2019 by a few days on it and they ended up putting a 30 day late on my credit reports. I called and asked them if they would remove the mark on my reports after I paid it as soon as I could after I switched my accounts due to issues with my bank account and having my direct deposit transferred timely with my employer the XXXX XXXX XXXX to my new account. They were rude and refused to do so, even though I have proof from online that they have done it for others in the past. Then they did not even report my XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX payments I made on time after that, showing NA on my credit reports. I contacted the credit bureaus and they contacted them supposedly but still have not fixed all. I was only late on the one payment and expect all other payments to show paid as agreed!! This is what they are showing on my reports and the company information, there is a green check mark over each month ( which did not copy with the information ) for XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, until you get to XX/XX/XXXX, then it says 30 over the XX/XX/XXXX pmt then NA over XXXX and nothing over XX/XX/XXXX which I also have already paid, all payments were made on time, except XX/XX/XXXX so all payment from XX/XX/2019 to today should show a green check mark and paid on time except the one only, they are intentionally not reporting to get back at me and try to make me look bad, it also says customer disputes account, which I have no idea what that is, I disputed how they were reporting. If these companies can not report my information correctly they need to be shut down, they have no business being in business if they can not complete a simple thing like this!!!! Complaint: My Lease with Honda financial Services was up on XX/XX/XXXX. I was negotiating a new lease/purchase with the local Honda dealer and told HFS that. They said they noted it and then I began getting XXXX : XXXX calls from " HFS '' which immediately asked for personal information i.e. DOB, Last four digits of SSN. Fearing a scam, I refused to give the info. Not being able to speak with me, they did not send me an invoice and instead reported me to the credit bureau as being delinquent, I have spent 2 and 1/2 hours on the phone today trying to resolve this ; I have paid the amounts that they said were due ( even though they did not send invoices ) and they refuse to correct the matter with the credit bureaus. By the way, I have never missed, or been late on any invoice I have received for 4 leased cars : 2 from Honda!

XXXX was my sales guy and he did a good job. When I got the survey, I gave it the best review. The deal was 36 months XXXX miles {$680.00} per month tax included DMV fees Tags and title included, XXXX down and only XXXX payment on signing. I sent an email to XXXX ( email attached ) dated XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX asking him exactly this and he responded ( email attached ) dated XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX stating Hello XXXX, You've got your deal! {$680.00} total due at signing. Transfer NJ tags. {$680.00} per month When would you like to pick it up? this email from XXXX clearly confirms that I am not responsible for any other payment. This is` my 3rd XXXX and my 4th XXXX in a row. All were leases. On the last XXXX I was over on Mileage and XXXX gave me this deal. I have gone to 3 other dealers and all gave similar deals, except XXXX XXXX had a better monthly payment by {$12.00}, but, what made me decide to go with XXXX XXXX was the clarity and excellent customer sales interaction. Recently Acura financial called me and said there is an outstanding amount due of about {$6500.00} on the old XXXX XXXX XXXX which I had turned into XXXX XXXX when I got my new XXXX XXXX. I was shocked. My family is devastated and disturbed. This is my XXXX lease and never had anything to pay for the old car even when I was over miles, because we made a deal, and agreed upon it as it was all take care of with the new car payment and that is what exactly what XXXX told me, If I had the slightest of the inclination, there was something hidden, I would have gone with other dealers. Issue : I was not told that there is a payment that I had to do on the old XXXX at any time during the sales process and even asked XXXX several times if there is any other hidden amount. Complaint: Leased a vehicle from Acura of XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, On or around XX/XX/XXXX, I decided to go to the dealership and inquire about purchasing the leased vehicle two months before lease contract was up. Residual value ( buy out price after lease was up ) on original term lease was at {$30000.00}. The payoff amount on XX/XX/XXXX was {$32000.00}. The deal was done and I was informed that the bank had agreed to the loan and I will now be financing said vehicle. Dealer listed new cash price of {$39000.00} ( including the tax ) on the new finance contract. I do not understand how this amount was generated as the loan for the buyout on the lease was {$32000.00}. That is a difference of around {$7000.00}. I did not agree to any other number and was well aware what the buy out price was. I did agree to an extended warranty and I know there were dealer, DMV fees involved so I didn't think much of it when I signed. After now reviewing this contract I see that none of those fees I just mentioned above are even incorporated into that {$39000.00} and were then tacked on to make the new loan amount to {$41000.00}. They are very pushy to get you to sign and did not even give me a copy of the contract on that day. I did not even get to see contract again until recently when I was able to look at me account online. I am now paying around {$70000.00} for a vehicle that was leased to me at a price of {$48000.00} back in XXXX.

Complaint: I have a remaining balance on a leased XXXX XXXX XXXX. The account has never had a late payment in 3 years. The final payment went 33 days past due and the negative mark on my credit impacted my score more than 50 points. I anticipated to resolve the issue immediately, as I have never been past due. I contacted American Honda Finance to resolve the issue, and the automated phone directed me to a collection agency. I asked the agency specific questions about the account such as " is this agency handling the credit reporting of my account '', they claim they are not. I attempted to contact American Honda Finance again, and was able to speak to a customer service representative. He tried transferring me to the finance department to agree on a solution, but the call was not transferred. Instead, he told me the finance department refuses to speak to me as they are no longer the credit reporters of my account. Simply put, American Honda Finance claims they are no longer speaking to me because they are not the credit reporters and the collection agency they hired are making the same claim. This practice is unfair to consumers and should be unlawful. Finance companies should not be able to have such an impact on credit worthiness if they refuse to resolve the issue and come to an agreement or solution that benefits both parties. My credit score will continue to be impacted until American Honda Finance speaks to me. I am asking for a full summary of this situation. An explanation as to why American Honda Finance is falsely claiming they are no longer the credit reporters of my account and a full good will adjustment, as the negative marks on my credit inaccurately reflect my credit worthiness.

Complaint: An auto loan with American Honda Finance went into charge off in 2013 after a medical emergency which left me unable to work for 6 months. Back in 2013 I spoke to the American Honda Financial Services representative, I got a verbal agreement over the phone stating the charge off would be removed and that he would take care of the credit reporting once the car was paid. I paid the car off in full. I received Paid in Full Letters and a lien clearance letter from American Honda Financial Services. The charge off 's were never removed from my credit report. Fast forward seven years later. I have disputed these items multiple times. The only credit reporting agency which refuses to remove it is XXXX. I have called over 15 times in the last 2 months. They tell me a different story every time. The representative keeps stating that there is nothing that they can do without authorization. I provide them the authorization letter ( Lien Clearance ) from American Honda Finance and they tell me I have to continue to dispute it until it is removed. It has been years of back and forth. The information on my credit report is inaccurate and what XXXX is doing is illegal. I provide them all the information that they request and they refuse to remove it. I recently redisputed the same negative item and Myfico score went down. American Honda Finance updated the information that caused my score to go down. XXXX is the worst of the three credit bureau. In my experience, XXXX will side with the lender even if the information is incorrect.

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 609 ) it is my right to challenge any account in my credit if I believe they are being reported inaccurate, unverifiable or incomplete. I believe they are and some of them have been corrected on some of the bureaus and some have not. I would like to make this complaint to show the level of urgency I have towards this matter. If you can please help I would really appreciate it. These accounts have to be deleted since they are holding my credit scores back and I'm looking to use my credit soon to make a major purchase. Complaint: American Honda Fianc is threating to report a negative on my credit for lack of payment. I have never missed a payment on the auto loan that I am a co-signer on. The co-signer on the loan had her bank accounts hacked which made her auto payments return as frozen account. I was made aware of the problem as the other co-signer and I brought the account current with in 48 hours. I might also add that the car was involved in a auto accident and was a total loss. The insurance company sent AHF XXXX XXXX dollars which made the account16 payments ahead of the contract. I have talk to Honda Finance and they are being very rude about the problem. I was never notified by mail or by phone that the account was going in 30 and 60 day late. I also have GAP insurance that are taking there time in paying the car off. Can someone from your office please let Honda know that are not being very consumer friendly, and they are required to notify the consumer of any negative action to the consumers credit report.

Complaint: Complaint Description : Honda Invoice dispute on 2019 XXXX County Personal Property Tax Invoice. Tax is not owed due to sale of the vehicle. Honda invoiced consumer after the account was closed and paid in full. I purchased my Honda Lease and all outstanding payments were paid in full at time of the transaction ; I had a zero balance and no late payments. After the vehicle was sold from a Lease and the account closed, Honda invoiced for 12 months of XXXX County Personal Property Tax in the amount of {$350.00}. This amount is disputed due to sale of the vehicle. The amount is owed as a refund by XXXX County due to the vehicle sales date. Per XXXX County Treasury Office, it is Honda 's responsibility to request and collect a refund from XXXX County. Honda was not able to provide the prorated amount due until XXXX County refunded tax collected. On XX/XX/2019, XXXX County refunded {$270.00}. To date, I have not received from Honda a revised statement showing my balance due with the XXXX County applied credit. I did receive a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, as a dunning notice to pay {$79.00} within 30 day. {$84.00} was paid XX/XX/2019 confirmation # XXXX within the terms of the letter. Honda incorrectly reported to the Credit Bureau 60 days delinquent. My prorated portion of the payment was made timely, within 30-days.. After purchasing my Honda Lease, XXXX County Tax Department Invoiced me directly for the same vehicle for 2019 Personal Property TAX due {$260.00}.
