Complaint: Issue 1 : My son and I bought a car XX/XX/XXXX. My son made a payment before he went into the hospital on XX/XX/XXXX. Honda Finance never mailed the statement until XX/XX/XXXX. Contact Honda for a payment deferment cause my son had XXXX which put him out of work until XX/XX/XXXX. I asked for financial hardship and got hang up on XX/XX/XXXX then call on XX/XX/XXXX the representative was rude. I asked for supervisor and no responds.
Issue 2 : I also notice that my income was boost up by dealership. My son wasn't working at the time and I was only one working. The dealer rep fraudulently boost the income and never asked for proof of payroll checks from my son nor me. My son told him he was employed and on leave of absence. His income should be XXXX. Honda Finance never asked for payroll checks either. Every Finance income I had asked for payroll checks before approving the credit application. The contract have no signature

Complaint: I had a leased vehicle Honda provided a payoff for. I paid the amount to purchase a new car. I received harassing calls and letters threatening repossession of my XXXX XXXX which had been turned in to the dealer months prior. Credit report shows amount owed and have been sent to various collections. When disputed previously Honda denied and provided bogus payment history saying amount owed and repossession never sought. The vehicle I did purchase XX/XX/XXXX claim never addressed. That vehicle was repossessed after payment was never applied that had been sent in. Also car was given to repo man at XXXX when car was in garage and he had gone in to verify. I did not know at the time that was not allowed. He threatened I would need to be in court the next morning if I did not give him the car and it would cost additional thousands in court fees. Also said a key fee of {$500.00} would also be charged. I was getting paid in the next 2 days and was going to make my payments I did not know were over 30 days since a payment had never been properly applied. I was told I could get my car back once I made my payment and called Honda. This has caused extreme hardship and affected my ability to find a job since credit checks are a part. Also has created a hardship in securing housing for the same reason.Had I not been lied to I would have retained my vehicle my good standing credit wise and not had to go through undue hardships otherwise. Honda has profited by unduly doing this and continues to seek payments through collection.
I have copy of payoff, and payment made. Copy of letters threatening repossession which they denied for XX/XX/XXXX. I also have a copy of check sent in which was not applied that resulted in XX/XX/XXXX being late. Also proof of XX/XX/XXXX car picked up from dealer when transferred to another lot in XX/XX/XXXX despite being threatened in XX/XX/XXXX with repossession and charge off.

Termination fees or other problem when ending the lease early
Complaint: on traded in my car for a new car in XX/XX/2017, I was told I owed nothing else by the dealership, I them received not one but three bills total in reference to closing the lease.
As noted in my attached letter, after paying the first bill and being told I was again paid in full I received a second and then third charge. Paid # 2, on 3 I requested written documentation of taxes as I owned the car for 2 yrs and they were billing for 3. I was abused and repeatedly told by Honda Financial, to go to my town and get the info, that they had no info and that they did not care what my rights were. If as the announcement says on their greeting this should all be recorded.
They reported me as delinquent to a credit bureau although this is not allowed under consumer law when a charge is in dispute. Finally after receiving a mildly plausible written explanation I paid them on XX/XX/XXXX a settlement amount they requested. I did write " to pay debt with acct # in full '' on check along with letter I sent with the check also confirming that. They proceeded to put me in collections for XXXX. I only requested they remove the information on my credit report and accepted their settlement ( not mine ) as payment in full. Documents attached

Complaint: This is a follow-up to our initial complaint # XXXX submitted on XX/XX/2018. The response from Honda Financial Services just further proves how corrupt and incompetent that organization is, and someone there needs to go to jail. The matter at hand pertains to a fraudulent {$350.00} that Honda has been trying to extort from us hardworking minorities. This seems to be pure racism by them. Their response to complaint # XXXX is that they charged us {$350.00} because of a turn-in fee. HOGWASH! Under the terms of the contract, the fee is waived if the customer subsequently purchases or leases another Honda. When we returned our XXXX XXXX XXXX to the XXXX XXXX dealership in XXXX, FL, we advised the dealership that we would be purchasing another Honda but that it may be a bit longer than 30 days due to an upcoming move. The Honda representative at the XXXX dealership said that would be fine, and that although 30 days is generally the time parameters they provide, Honda would happily extend that to the end of the year for us. My husband, XXXX XXXX, and I, subsequently purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX in Connecticut on XX/XX/2018 ( account # XXXX ) and adhered to the end of the year parameter Honda provided to us. For them to now attempt to falsely claim their attempt to extort {$350.00} from us is due to failure to comply with the turn-in parameters when we in fact complied with the very turn-in parameter they told us would be fine by them is ridiculous. Honda Financial is corrupt and this is an act of racism. Shame on them, our society should not tolerate such racist behavior.

Complaint: Something that caught my attention is how they handled the payments I made to my account with this new car XXXX XXXX, I took this car about 13 months ago, and before had a lease of a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which then fund a XXXX XXXX XXXX. Apparently the numbers here is not correct and I ask for a review of the read of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that I did, I want a review of how were those payments, the initial, charges in order to review the full contract and if the correct charges were applied to the other to make the trade IN Complaint to the sling by with the XXXX .. since I see not doing the correct reports or in time to have the exact numbers, likewise I want you to review the the XXXX XXXX XXXX that was then financed with honda finance to be sure that I was not charged fees and payments as it should be and that there was no misinformation to make me pay more money than normal, since there have been many problems with loans in this dealer and d and how things have been done in this place.
On the other hand I decided to change the XXXX XXXX on the XXXX of this month of XXXX, and I noticed some adjustments that do not add up. The experian credit report says that the last update of the XXXX XXXX XXXX payments was on XX/XX/2018 with a balance of {$40000.00}, and when the car changed for a XXXX at the XXXX dealer it was requested the total payoff of the sling, which went for about XXXX I think .. I do not understand how it is that this debt is there if the payments are made on the XXXX of each month, since XXXX has not correctly applied the total balance to be paid, He should be less.
We paid XXXX dollars and a few cents per month ... then if we paid on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX dollars and on the XXXX of this month of XXXX, another XXXX dollars, and XXXX due toXX/XX/XXXX, according to the last update of the sling in the credit report experian ... these last two payments have not been applied to the debt .. creating that with the total balance requested by bmw then in the trade in that we did, in the balance we ended up paid two payments more than normal, the account should currently running at about XXXX,, approximate with a few cents difference ... more or less.
We contacted honda financial, and they told me to visit the dealer. That was where I bought it. I went to this place today and I told them about this, they told me that this is already a XXXX XXXX, not with them. they ... that they only sell the car ... that they could give me back the gap insurance .. that they can do it but they do not know how much they would give me..they sent it to the insurance and they decide how much it is .. and that it would arrive by mail ..
Then here are so many problems ... that no one wants to face.

Complaint: New car purchased XX/XX/18.Preapproved loan with Honda Financial Services showing approval for new loan taken to dealer which was XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Ohio. Search for new car completed online using XXXX XXXX as a tool to try to get the best deal for car. Told by internet manager XXXX XXXX that once loan was approved she would receive approved loan application. Loan rate that I applied for online with Honda Financial Services was 1.9 % rate. Went into dealer and was told that the loan rate did not apply to the amount of months that I was financing for. I have written rate and months that I applied for and was still told that it did not apply to my purchase. The financial manager said that the rate that I would be financed for was 2.9 % evening after showing the approval amount and the rate and months applied for online prior to going into the dealership. The finance manager signature can not be read. I tried to contact the dealer to get his name but was not successful. He told me at the purchase time that he will make it work to base the new loan payment to be the amount of my previous loan amount of XXXX dollars.
I was contacted online to complete a survey regarding my experience. I tried to be fair and honest about how I felt the transaction had went. I also received a phone call shortly afterwards asking how I felt about my experience at XXXX XXXX of XXXX, Ohio and told the person that I had completed an detail survey which was very lengthy.
I contacted Honda Financial Services which had to be done by mail showing all of my documents from them when I applied online for the car loan and was told today that Honda Financial Services work independently from the dealers and that I would have to go back to the dealer XXXX XXXX regarding the change of the loan rate.
I am just trying to find out why the finance company and the dealer do not honor the rate after the customer apply and is approved for the loan.
As I stated previously I have documents showing my approve rate.

Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. My personal information was compromised and a fraudulent account was opened without my consent or authorization.
As a result, I sent this company my dispute letter on XX/XX/XXXX explaining my case. I even attached the Identity Theft Report, Proof of identity and Section 605B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
But to my surprise, this company up to now failed miserably to investigate my claims and is still reporting this fraudulent account. For yet another last time, the following account is fraudulent : AMERICAN HONDA FINAN, ACC # XXXX, Opened Date XX/XX/XXXX, Highest Balance {$8500.00} This letter is a written proof of my last intent to find a resolution for this case failure to which I will file a lawsuit against this company.

Complaint: Turned in Honda at end of lease. Honda did not ask for any payment/ turn in fee nor notify me that any payment would be due. XX/XX/XXXX, I receive this " Lease End Statement Details '' letter which states " per your request ... ''. I did not request a lease end statement details report, so I set the letter aside and did not take action. Because I did not request any such letter ( unlike it stated ) I assumed it was a fraudulent document, as it did not look official and did not include a payment slip or envelope. The letter stated there was an amount of {$360.00} due. If there was an amount I did owe, I expected the Honda dealer to collect the payment from me at the time I turned in the car, or send me a bill that looked similar to all my lease payment statements, that I could then pay. I never received any additional correspondence or Bills from Honda. I notice my credit score dropped dramatically and after requesting my credit report, see that Honda had sent this outstanding balance to collections. Aside from the attached letter, I did not receive any formal bill or notification that I owed this turn in fee. I am more than willing to pay anything I owe, but expect to receive a statement with bill pay slip. I will be calling Honda tomorrow, XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: I am a longtime Honda customer, who drove off with a new, leased car in XX/XX/XXXX, and who continues to make my monthly {$460.00} payments to American Honda Finance company. But my credit report shows nothing about my lease payments from XXXX - present!! I realized this as I got weird information from Planet XXXX, XXXX, NJ salespeople. XXXX XXXX kept calling me stating they want to give me a new deal. But one salesman said I was not paying my car note! Another said, my bankruptcy will make it impossible for me alone to get another Honda ; said I needed my mom to be a co-signor. This was all said despite, me getting Hondas before, with lousy credit, and despite me getting my mom to also get new cars from XXXX XXXX. So I skeptically got my credit reports from all 3 credit bureaus, only to see that Honda reports my old stuff, but not my most current stuff! I called American Honda and got a representative who stated they did not report this new activity, because of my bankruptcy. ( Honda is not part of that bankruptcy ). I forwarded an e-mail from my bankruptcy lawyer. It stated what I did : Honda is not part of my bankruptcy plan. Honda is a creditor paid outside of that plan, and thus, may lease/sell me another vehicle.
Honda claims the car is due back, in XX/XX/XXXX. ( It should have been turned in, XX/XX/XXXX ). But I got such weird, false information from car dealers, I did not take any new deals. But now, as I get closer to XXXX, I want Honda to report my TRUE, new information! My bankruptcy is clear to the world. But my new lease agreement with Honda is secret! ( Thank XXXX, I paid everything electronically, though my XXXX XXXX XXXX bill pay service. That allows a record, but only my OWN, not Honda 's ). Complaint: My car was repossessed by American Honda Finance on XX/XX/2018. I was never given a notice of sale. This violates my consumer rights, California Penal Code 1812.2 ( state car was repossessed ) and XXXX XXXX ( state where I reside ). I updated all contact information with XXXX on XX/XX/2018, well over a month before Honda sold the car. His phone number is ( XXXX ) XXXX. This information can be verified via my account notations. I was never given the option to redeem the vehicle, nor was I afforded the opportunity to attend the auction as no notice was sent to my current address. Suspiciously, after the vehicle was sold, Honda was able to send the deficiency bill to my current address ( on file ) - I will attach a copy of this.
