Complaint: I co/signed for a car for my son in 2007 he and his wife left me with the payments that I could not make. The car was repossessed. The car agency called me after the repossession to inform me of what happened and asked me to make payments. The car was sold at auction but a {$10000.00} balance remained unpaid. This went on my credit and stayed on my credit for 7 years. I recently went to my credit union and they told me that the repossession has been reported again. It remains on my credit although its been over seven years. I am unable to use my credit due to this problem that will never go away. I am a senior on a fixed income who needs access to a good credit score, I pay my bills.

Complaint: Honda Financial calls us five times per day every day seven days per week, after we have told them the payment has been mailed and we are just waiting for their processing. For example, we sent them a payment six days ago and it still is n't processed When we ask them for payment information about the status of the accounts they refuse to give that information and hang up the phone. We can talk with them and let them know when we are mailing the next payment and five minutes later they call again, with no knowledge of the previous conversation. They are impossible to work with. But all they do is inundate us with harassing phone calls day and night. We have sent complaint correspondence to Honda Financial expressing the problems but they refuse to respond and continue the above harassing phone tactics. They do n't even know which of our XXXX accts they are calling us about. In addition, they continually to send threatening msgs without regard to payments mailed to them, and other circumstances of these accounts,

Complaint: I totaled one car through Honda Financial and purchased a new car through Honda. I made my first payment for my new car. They mistakenly applied it to the totaled car. They sent me a check for over payment. I called, they stopped payment on the check and told me they would apply a credit to my new car account. It has bee 60 days and they have me a 42 day reporting late status to the credit agencies. They have acknowledged their errors but can not correct the reporting immediately. Thus, I was turned down for a refinance of a home loan because my score was affected by the drop due to their mistake. I have to refi my home immediately. I will have to file bankruptcy very soon because of medical expenses that were not billed correctly to my insurance carrier. This is causing me a hardship and a loss. They are not offering a reasonable solution to their mistake of reporting false information. The inaccuracy is causing me a hardship and the reporting is false.

Complaint: I had a XXXX month lease with Honda Financial which was paid on time, every month. The lease was opened in XXXX XXXX and closed XXXX XXXX. Due to my real estate business, I had to declare personal bankruptcy in XXXX XXXX, a full XXXX months following the end of my lease with Honda. By their own admission they never closed out my lease and put my account into their bankruptcy dept. I, however, NEVER included Honda Financial as part of my bankruptcy petition and the account should have been closed as paid, satisfied, on-time as of XX/XX/XXXX. My credit report prior to my filing showed the account in good standing. After filing my bankruptcy, again, in which Honda was never included, the account is now showing as " closed-derogatory '' and included in bankruptcy. I have contacted Honda multiple times and even have a letter from them stating that my account was paid, on-time and closed in good standing as of XXXX XXXX. However, when Honda Financial reports to the credit bureaus they are still reporting the account in bankruptcy. It was fixed and then they reported in XXXX XXXX ( not sure why since the account is " closed '' allegedly ) and it is back to being reported derogatory and in bankruptcy. I have spent countless hours trying to get this corrected, to no avail.

Complaint: I have been an Acura car owner for several years, never once missing a payment, until I tried to sign up for Acura Financial Service 's auto payment on their website in XX/XX/XXXX. Apparently my autopay request did n't go through, even though I saw the confirmation on the website saying everything was complete. 30 days went past and a payment apparently did n't go through, and I never once heard from Acura saying there was an issue ( they claim they did n't have my phone number, even though Acura called me several times regarding another matter ). I finally realized from my bank statement that a payment had n't posted, and called AFS immediately. They said they noticed I tried to set up autopay, but it was still pending.had n't been finalized. I never got a notice stating this previously, through mail, email, phone, etc. I made a one time payment online at that time, AFS released the late fees ( essentially admitting their mistake ), and I finally got the autopay setup properly. I have n't once missed a payment since then. I called them to help me get this one-time error corrected and they refused, very rudely I might add. I spoke with an associate and then a supervisor - both were extremely unhelpful. I understand a late payment needs to be submitted to the bureaus ( even though their attempt to " try and get ahold of me '' to address the issue was laughable ), but they were very unwilling to work with me on having a credit dispute handled in a fair manner. I asked if they could touch base with their tech support team to verify that I had tried to set up autopay, and they were not interested in doing that either. Terrible experience.

Complaint: I fell behind on my monthly lease payments. My vehicle was taken by the bank. I called to reinstate and was told that I did not have that option because my payment history was not good. I was told that I would be obligated to pay {$36000.00} by XXXX/XXXX/16 in order to get my vehicle back. I inquired whether or not I could pay the cost of the remaining months on my lease rather than the entire cost of the car. I was told that paying the remaining payments under my lease term was not an option. I must pay the {$36000.00}. My credit report only indicates that I am obligated to pay the balance of the lease it does not state {$36000.00}.

The credit bureaus and AHF both verified the accounts as being accurate and responded to my dispute in a timely fashion. But what they failed to do per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, was to update my account as being disputed within 5 days of receiving the dispute which according to the Federal Trade Commission is their responsibility and when not done, is a violation of the FCRA.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX Honda financial double posted my payment. Once they credited my account, I paid them again. I was promised everything was ok and I had nothing to worry about. Well, XXXX XXXX I received a call while I was sleep 3 days after XXXX. I was told my account was past due. I explained what happened and the lady kept telling me I owed the money. My bank gift involved. The lady was waiting on documents from them showing the payment went through my account. She said she never recovered it, so I had to send her screen shots of my account then she called me and said she needed the before and after balance. That to me was too personal and I was n't happy. Well, they sent my account to the credit b stating I was over 30 days past due. I was furious because my boyfriend is the cosigner. I kept calling the corporate office for the VP that sent the letters to the customers apologizing for the mistake but he never called back. Well, I finally spoke with a finance manager, he listened to the complaint and had someone call me a few days later. Well, after speaking with the manager that called me, he told me he would write off half of my monthly bill once I made my payment. I made my payment on XX/XX/XXXX because it was due XX/XX/XXXX. The manager followed up with me this past Tuesday and said the balance was being written off because he seen my payment. Today My boyfriend received a message to call back. I ended up calling and spoke with a lady named XXXX, she told me I was 7 days late. I am furious.

Complaint: Auto lease matured in XXXX XXXX and I extended for 6 months. Since the inception of the auto lease, I had automatic deductions made by Acura Financing with no problems. In XXXX XXXX, I extended the lease for another 6 months. In XXXX XXXX, I noticed that Acura Financing did not take out the payment for XXXX XXXX, XXXX and I contacted them on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and they told me I had to sign an extension form and fax and auto payment would resume, which I did. I manually paid XXXX payment on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Yesterday, I received a call from Acura Financing that XXXX and XXXX payments were not made. I went onto my bank site and determined that was correct, payment was not made. I asked XXXX XXXX why they did not resume auto payments after my discussion on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The representative from Acura Financing could not explain and read the notes from my previous conversations with Acura Financing ( when I was less then 30 days delinquent ) and could not explain why payments did not resume, especially since this issue did not occur on my first extension AND I called Acura Financing to rectify the issue in XXXX XXXX ( which was not done ). Acura Financing has my email address and I 'm not certain why they did n't email me immediately when the payment was not made. Having auto payments for 4 years stop with no notification from Acura AND for Acura not to notify me of an issue is not acceptable. I have checked my credit reports and they all show that I paid 48 months without incident and that effective XXXX XXXX my account is greater than 30 days past due. The non-payment is due to Acura 's error AND having my email address, I would expect when I am one day late, that I receive an email from them. Please also note that I have not had use of my car because of the XXXX airbag recall and Acura supplied me with a stripped down Jeep Patriot rental in lieu of my Acura RDX - so that is further insult to injury. I 'm leasing an Acura RDX, but driving a Jeep Patriot. Something is not right here.
