Complaint: I purchased my leased vehicle from Honda Financial Services ( American Honda Finance Corporation, as Servicer for XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in early XXXX 2016. It is now XXXX 2016 and I still do not have the title for the vehicle after repeated phone calls to HFS requesting my title. The registration on my vehicle expired XXXX XXXX ; my plates expired XXXX XXXX am now driving on expired plates but have no choice as I need the vehicle to do my day-to-day chores, get to work, and get my kids to their activities. XXXX continues to give me the run around when I call asking for information on my title or assistance in getting what I need for the XXXX to replace my title and allow me to renew my registration and licence plates.

Complaint: My issue is with Honda financial services for a motorcycle I financed with them. It all started when I let a friend borrow the motorcycle for a bike night and unfortunately, my friend had a XXXX accident and the bike was a total loss. Not knowing what to do about the situation because the bike was n't insured and my friend was in a XXXX I was not able to pay my monthly payments to honda financial. One day out of no where I get an email from a mother of my daughters friend from her school that a lady from Honda had called her looking for me and she was n't sure why they would call her. I then realized that I had just become friends with her on XXXX and that must have been the way that the representative from Honda got a hold of who she was and her information. I then decided to call the representative that called my daughter 's friend mother and demand why she had the nerve to call a total stranger looking for me and getting her information through my XXXX. She could have looked for me another way. At this point no one had ever shown up to my house to try to repossess the bike or anything. Although the bike was at a tow yard. She then began to accuse me that I was the XXXX doing something illegal because I was stealing a motorcycle by not paying for it and keeping it. I then explained to her what was the situation on the motorcycle and that I did n't even have the motorcycle in my possession because it was completely destroyed in the accident. She continued to say in appropriate things and that is when I decided to just end the conversation with her. I did n't even know how to begin to explain to the mother of my daughters friend why they would even call her! I was so embarrassing and I do not see why she had to receive a phone call about my personal life when she was merely just an acquaintance through my daughters school.

Complaint: Please reference complaint number XXXX. When I disputed this complaint I had assumed you would get back to Honda, since they did not address my problem basically at all. Perhaps I hit the wrong buttons. In any event, I received an email which described my dispute as feedback and not a dispute, so here is a new/related complaint as it was submitted in dispute to referenced complaint. Thank you : A non-answer from Honda Financial Services ( HFS ) which requires further explanation. I never changed my address on my lease buyout and neither did the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( financed the purchase for the buyer ) or if they did I was never so informed. I did change my mailing address from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX at the HFS website on XXXX XXXX, the day after car sale was completed, in anticipation of my departure for XXXX on XXXX XXXX. Perhaps the difference in amount charged was due to a change from XXXX to XXXX ( XXXX, some would say XXXX ; there is no state XXXX and neither does an XXXX address charge sales tax )? Obviously, I never moved to XXXX. I did make a payment electronically to HFS in the amount of {$340.00} on XXXX XXXX to get HFS off the back of the buyer who is also my brother-in-law and to allow release of the car title. So, the first thing that needs to be fixed is the return of the {$340.00} erroneously charged that I paid on XXXX XXXX. Secondly, as stated in my original complaint, consumers need to be protected from HFS which billed me in a letter ( scan attached to my original complaint ) which did not explain the reason for the billing, a company which makes it impossible to resolve a dispute with consumers who have moved XXXX AFTER complying with their instructions for paying off an auto loan. Thank you.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my son bought a car from Honda, which I co-signed. His first payment was n't due till XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX thru XX/XX/XXXX his payments were on time. As of XX/XX/XXXX he started missing payments, NSF & late fees started being assessed. I did not find out about the NSF 's until XX/XX/XXXX. My son was feverishly trying to catch up. I took over the account in XX/XX/XXXX after having brought the account current with only {$100.00} late fee due as of XX/XX/XXXX ( per my calculations ). Per my calculations, the payment of {$500.00} made XX/XX/XXXX was an overpayment. Even if they would had taken the {$100.00} out of this payment I still would have had an overpayment of {$390.00}. Everytime I call Honda Customer Service the reps summarily state " there were NSF 's and late fees. '' No one seems to be able to go over the transaction history line by line to discover the error. I 'm a month ahead at this point. I need a competent person with accounting background to go over my transaction history line by line ( simple adding & subtracting ). Thanks

Complaint: In XXXX, I purchased a 2012 Honda Odessey minivan and financed the purchase through Honda Financial Services. Since XXXX, I have made every monthly payment on time. In XXXX XXXX, my bank stopped payment due to an unknown issue. Honda Financial Services did not call me or send me mail until XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I received that document on XXXX XXXX and immediately called HFS to resolve the situation. I spoke with XXXX, the manager in the XXXX call center. We called my bank, XXXX XXXX, to attempt to resolve the situation. XXXX agreed to pay the late fees to HFS to atone for the error. I immediately repaid the past due amount. However, XXXX refused to remove the past due report on my credit report for XXXX. I have researched this and know that it is in XXXX and HFS ' discretion to remove these from a consumer 's credit report, yet in this case HFS was completely unwilling to assist. I am about to apply for credit to purchase a home, and HFS ' report has reduced my credit score to where my interest rate will be higher than it would have been without HFS ' report. I have made every HFS payment on time for over three years now, and the one time that there was an issue, it was not my fault. Yet HFS is publishing defamatory information about me that is causing financial harm. I have called XXXX a second time to ask for help, but she has not answered my calls or returned my calls. I need help in fixing this abuse by Honda Financial Services before it costs me thousands more in interest expense.
