Complaint: I check my credit report regularly. Today I saw a notice that I had been hit with a 30 day late payment for a previous auto lease ( over 11 months old ) with Honda. I checked my online account, and saw that there was a charge of {$38.00} for one month 's worth of property tax due to Honda. I had closed that account as I leased another car with Honda. I paid my final payments. I even paid the property tax for my new Accord a few months later. I received no notification, no correspondence, no phone call regarding any additional property tax due. Instead, I have a negative mark on my credit report now, which can not be removed according to the Honda representative I talked to shortly after immediately making my payment. She inferred that I had dodged calls and correspondence for this charge. I would never dodge a payment. There is no circumstance in which I would ever evade calls from accounts to which I owe money.
I am disgusted that even after paying the account, nothing can be done to correct the credit report which denotes that I am now 30 days late on an auto lease no longer in my name.

Complaint: My lease was up on my Honda Accord. I took the car back to the dealership where I was told that I had thirty days to get an inspection and return it. On the tenth day I received a bill for a payment, lease extension and late fees, Called number on the bill and they said know the dealership has to take the car, XXXX, whom I spoke with said she would call the dealership so they would take it and take final bill to them. Now I keep getting bills and no one seems to know anything. Bill just keeps coming. Tried to file complaints at dealership and they said they do n't do that.

Complaint: My Auto payments set on autopay failed during a bank buyout We did not realize that payments were not being made I did not receive a call or a email or any notice of any type .My vehicle was going to repossessed the first person to get a hold of me was a local repossess agent.
I immediately went to bank and wired funds for 120 days past due the fees i am being is outrageous

Complaint: I financed a vehicle through American Honda Financial Services. I feel they are very discriminatory towards minorities my race XXXX. A XXXX supervisor that I spoke to would not provide me the opportunity to explain my situtaion and refused " I explained to her I felt like they were discriminatory via-phone conversation. I fell behind on XXXX payments due to my grand babies death and child 's burial expenses as I stated in several conversations. I also advised her I would provide documentation. Payments are due the XXXX of every month ; however my last payment was XX/XX/2016 and I was going to make a additional payment by XX/XX/2016. American Honda repo my vehicle before I could even discuss my account. A couple of weeks pass and I received a letter from XX/XX/2016 from your office in a settlement agreement. In which is how I feel with this company I will never use again as a minority I feel American Honda provides unfair practices towards minorities. Furthermore, I was able to pay off the loan. My bank contacted American Honda and was advised they would release the vehicle verbally. I also contacted American Honda and was advised the same thing. American Honda mentioned they would release the vehicle after a couple of days the tow company said they had not released vehicle so once again I contacted American Honda and they mentioned they needed the check in their office in order to release the vehicle. " My question why did n't they explain that to my bank and or me the first time we contacted American Honda. Now I accrued more fees with the towing company.

Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I went to speak with a salesperson at XXXX Honda in XXXX. I was only going to get an inquiry about my vehicle that was due to be turned in because the lease was going to be up. I had been in a small fender bender, ( in my current vehicle ) and Honda told me they would take my vehicle right out from under me and put me in a new one, I said to them " of course you would, but at what cost? because I was just discharged from a bankruptcy and I want to make a fresh start, where I do n't put myself back in the same financial bind ''. They showed me a XXXX Honda XXXX. The salesman kept going back and forth with his Manager about pricing, looking to see what he can do for me. I knew that my credit score would effect the payment amount but I was curious to see what they could do for me. The salesman came back and said I can get the car for {$480.00} per month, that is without insurance. I told him that is just way too much for me, I know I wo n't be able to afford that!!! He kept saying " Come on I want to help you '' I said seriously there is no way I can or want to pay that much for a car because I 'm just coming out of a bankruptcy and want to better myself. I told him " I am just here to inquiry about the vehicle I have to turn in on XXXX XXXX ''. He kept pressuring me by saying " let 's just do it now while you are here ''. Looking back at the situation I was very vulnerable and in a position where I was desperate, because I needed a car since my lease was expiring in a month. I really did go in just to inquire and be better prepared when I do have to turn my car in. But, I feel like I was taken advantage of considering I told them what my situation was. All they wanted to do was make a sale and not consider what I could afford. XXXX is currently holding a postdated check from me, that I do n't have the $ $ $ for. They took a post dated check knowing I do n't have the money, now I 'm in a bind because I feel pressured to somehow come up with this money. My 1st payment is coming up and I do n't have that either. I really wish the sales people cared about people and not just pushing a sale right there and then. I 've tried taking the car back but they mislead me to believe that my payments will drop when my credit score improves in a month, but what about the money I have to come up with now??? I feel very helpless.

Complaint: This is a joint account that I have with my daughter XXXX XXXX. I was going through a lease extension and was denied making any further payments until the lease paperwork was processed. Complaint: I had a 3 year lease with Honda Financial ; completed in XXXX XXXX. Every payment was paid in full on time ; never missed.
Car was in accident the beginning of XXXX ; which turned into a " total loss '' Insurance Company sent Honda Financial insurance check beginning of XXXX.
Honda assessed an {$1800.00} balance ; consisting of {$500.00} insurance deductible and " excess mileage '' In meantime, Honda Financial sent an " estimate '' - not a bill for breakdown of total.
Honda began their calls with a demand of payment in full or my " they '' would report to credit bureau. I did not receive a bill yet, and when " Collector '' verified what the letter was to state ; was n't due yet.
I have since sent {$500.00} for deductible and made arrangements to pay balance in XXXX installments ; ending XXXX XXXX.
I continuously receive calls for payment 4 times a day, including today, Saturday.
I have asked for " Caller '' to read the arrangement in the notes ; stop calling and asked for Supervisor.
I am told not Supervisor is available, a request will be submitted on my behalf, I have been hung up on after repeating same request.
In addition, each call begins with ... '' What is your DOB and address to verify we 're speaking with correct person '' - Meanwhile, this is an incoming call - who gives out information on incoming calls?
I just want Honda Financial to stop calling multiple times a day. I did the right thing and made arrangements ( outside another issue that I do n't know why I am paying Honda for excess mileage on a totaled vehicle ).
