Complaint: My honda dirt bike was stolen in XX/XX/XXXX. My issues started with Honda financial services. I spoke to a a Honda representative on the day of the theft. They informed me to fax the police report to a number they provided me with, which I did. Three days passed by and I had not heard from them. I called them, and the representative I spoke to was very rude, and told me that whoever I spoke to three days ago did not exist, and he does n't recognize the fax number they had provided me with. I reported my stolen vehicle for the second time with this new individual. A month later, I representative called me, stating I will be receiving a bill for my last payment. I was not given an option other than to pay the sum in 90 days. When I called Honda financial services in XX/XX/XXXX to make my payment, it was discovered that they had sent me the wrong statement ; they stated I owed them an additional {$1000.00}. For two days in a row I demanded to speak with a supervisor but the Honda representatives informed me they will handle the issue. In the mean time they stated they will me send the amended final statement of the sum I owed. About 5 days later, I received a phone call from Honda representative that only left the general number, with no name or title. When I called Honda financial services to inquire as to the means of the call, I was told that a supervisor tried to contact me. My rights as a consumer to voice his issues were completely ignored.

Complaint: In XXXX I leased a vehicle from Honda. In XXXX before my 2 year lease was up I lost my job and my home. I did what I had to do and paid for my truck until the date of completion in XXXX. I paid everything I owed and handed in my vehicle and keys. I have been financial stable and back on my feet since XXXX. I am currently in the process of retiring my credit so that I can purchase a home for my children. While reviewing my report I noticed that my account American Honda is listed on my account as " Not in good standing ''. When I requested to have to item removed that delisted it as a charge off further decreasing my score. I would appreciate some help because this is unfair.

Complaint: Over the past 7 to 8 years my family and I have purchased XXXX different Honda Accords. On last I recently wrote to Honda Corporation with concerns about the lawsuit brought against their loan office for giving loans to XXXX at a higher interest rate than XXXX, which they neither affirmed nor denied. I received 4 different letters on XXXX previously paid off loans from Honda stating this information. I was concerned about the all the loans we had with Honda over the past several years. Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX my XXXX Honda Accord was repossessed for 2 months payment. I lost my job XX/XX/XXXX and was unable to make my payment of {$380.00} per month. I contacted American Honda Motor Corporation for the amount required to reclaim the car and was told I have to pay the remainder of said loan at {$7400.00}, plus collection fees, plus a fee to get my property from the vehicle..!! I was told this was stated in the contract, and upon reading said contract we do not see where that was a stipulation. I am in no position to pay such a larger sum of money, but I ask that Honda work with me to pay the arrears and 1 month in advance to have the car returned. I feel that because I wrote to the corporation concerning the actions brought against them I am being forced to pay off the loan on the XXXX car. The car is worth approximately {$9500.00}, far more than I owe to Honda and I feel they are being unfair by not allowing me to catch the payments and retain the car. I recently found employment and I am able to make the payments as I have in the past. I have been an outstanding consumer with Honda over the years and have talked several family members into purchasing a Honda. All I ask is to be given the chance to recoup my current loan as agreed. Thank you.

Complaint: Incredible, the sensible facts about my complaint : Customer service, or rather collectors as they call themselves only when asked, notified me that my payment was getting past due. I attempted to call, wait, and notify America Honda Finance on date XXXX XXXX, XXXX that my car was stolen. ( To clarify, I am the Prime Owner but my younger sibling is the driver, co-signer. ) Even though I attempted to call several times, rather 5 times in one day, XXXX XXXX ( and XXXX ) XXXX, they both refused to pass me to a supervisor to discuss my issue - an apparent due date payment ( NOTE : I had made all my previous payments on TIME ). And refused to write any notes about what my intention was - car ( Never was I passed on to, or contacted by a supervisor nor was any issue fixed, nor did any person on the phone bother to write down in any sensible way any detail on my complaint or issue ). Sadly, I was the victim of having the car stolen on XXXX XXXX near to XXXX in XXXX, CA. Apparently, customer services are very rude and when I explained that I needed to speak with a Supervisor, they told me, a female, that I was not permitted to speak with one, rather I had to wait 48 hours for a possible response. Meaning that my request for a Supervisor about my stolen car and service management issue that had occurred a week past was n't good enough. That same person, female, then hanged up on me. It is clear to me that a person like her can just as easily hang-up on a customer like myself with no apparent issue to themselves. After waiting for long, they easily choose to hang up when they feel like it. On this day XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I attempted to call again, waiting 38 minutes on line to speak with a person on the phone from America Honda Finance. I attempted to explain that my car was stolen, reported to the XXXX Police on the day of its deft and in regards to a bad credit report. Again, America Honda Finance does n't care what happens to you, or your car, as long as someone continues to pay for the car. And if for any reason, the payment is not made when they request it ( computerized ), they immediately report it to the XXXX Credit Burials. The REASON FOR MY COMPLAINT : no one appears to know how to write a customer request. Sure, they write a quick note about the customer, but never about the customers complaint, or the customers request or reason for calling. ( They 'll write a quite note about the customer himself. ) More, what I want and need is a set of clarifications - I have made every payment and still I am not able to communicate with a Supervisor. There is no such thing as accountability for any person in American Honda Finance on their phone lines. All they appear to care about is loan money, and reporting customers to the XXXX credit burials which of course can destroy their credit line. I need to clarify that my car was stolen, bad customer service, and clear my credit, plus my upcoming payments on that car. Beware : collectors will refuse to pass you to a supervisor. Either because they are busy, or because you 're complaint or issue is n't good enough. And as they mention, all they care about is getting money from you, either positively or negatively. Managing an account with America Honda Finance was a mistake and I take full responsibility for that mistake. Do n't join AHF if you want to risk your credit records. And most of all, you ca n't speak with a supervisor, and they never respond to a request. Plus, customer service continues to hang up on me. It is a terrible service that I hope others do n't have to deal with.

Complaint: My husband and I got XXXX car leases from American Honda finance corporation they did a trade-in for my XXXX XXXX XXXX and they gave us XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX then a couple of months later they turned it into an auto loan what they did is they had me co-sign for my husbands & my husband cosign for mine. They knew what they were doing because they manipulated the paperwork. I went to the Honda dealership in XXXX CA. I just got a letter from a lawyer 's office stating that they were having some type of lawsuit due to the fact they would hive higher APR 's for minorities XXXX XXXX ( my race ) XXXX and XXXX than XXXX people. The cars were later repoed voluntarily. I want this removed from my credit report because if they crooks & gave people higher APR 's I should n't be responsible for what they did, & to put me & others in a financial bind I am looking into talking into a lawyer or I would love for you guys to take this case. Please get original paperwork. Also they denied me to get my belongings out of XXXX of the cars because it was repoed. They told me I must pay before I can retrieve any items.

Complaint: Hello, I leased a vehicle through Honda Financial ( dba Acura Financial ) in XX/XX/XXXX. I paid that loan off in XX/XX/XXXX and the installment account was reported as closed and " pays as agreed '' on my Credit Report. In XX/XX/XXXX, I was contacted by Acura Financial about " toll fees '' that I accrued in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX unbeknownst to me. At this point in time, the lease account had already been closed and paid for ... well over a year. I told them I would pay the fees and made a single payment over the phone. I admit that I forgot to pay them after that as I did not have an active loan or credit account with them. I also did not receive any correspondence about the rest of the toll fees. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was alerted to a credit alert on my report. I noticed that my old lease account, which was closed and was once " pays as greed '' had changed to " pays XXXX days ''. As a result, my credit score dropped XXXX points. I think this is highly deceptive to anyone looking at my credit. This change implies that I did not pay my lease agreement on time which is untrue. I was NEVER late paying my lease or any of my cars. I had NO idea about these fees until over a year later. If I accrued these tickets in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX..why was n't this added to my loan? Why was I able to pay my lease off with unpaid tickets? Why a year later? I admit that I forgot to pay the fees after being contacted in XX/XX/XXXX, but it seems they also forgot to add these " unpaid tickets '' to my loan while it was still active. I also do n't see how it 's legal to " update '' a closed account with false information. I purchased another Acura at a dealership and we had to payoff the account before I could obtain possession of the new car. I have proof that these tickets were added to my closed account over a year after the payoff was sent. I 've been very loyal to Acura and Honda up until this year, all I have purchased is Honda and Acura cars ... .but it seems they do not share the same loyalty.
