Complaint: I am writing with regard to my recently closed lease of my Honda XXXX ( XX/XX/2014 ) with Honda Financial Services. I was under the impression through my dealer that excess milaege would either be waived or reduced and rolled in to my payments upon return of my vehicle and leasing through Honda. This was not the case and I was hit with a bill to be paid up front with a courtesy reduction. I was going back and forth between Honda and my dealer regarding the fact that I wanted to roll it in, but I I was not permitted to so and I was financially unable to pay at the time. The matter has since been resolved, but I was hit with a late payment on my credit report which I feel should be cleared.

Complaint: We traded in our Leased Car. XXXX Honda said they will pay our Mileage fee, they said bring them the bill once I receive it and they will cover it. My wife brought them the bill and they said they will take care of it. The bill was for {$190.00}. A few days ago I started receiving several calls from Honda saying we owe {$190.00}. We called the dealership they claimed they handled it. Today my credit was hit with a late payment for the {$190.00}. Being a former debt collector, their collection team practices abusive collection practices. I was call 5 times in 10 minutes by their company. I have attached a copy of the missed calls from there collection department. I am demanding that they delete the negative mark on my credit as we never missed a payment and paid the lease off 2 months early. XXXX Honda was responsible for paying the {$190.00} mileage fee as per our contract when we purchased a new vehicle from them.

I was always calling and informed them that I would catch the loan up when I received my taxes. The took the car the day I would be 2 months behind and I received my taxes and they would n't alow me to pay it up. I lost my car and now my credit with be damaged. I don ' ; t think it was fair they just took the car. I lost my job so I was struggling but I was paying them and I was only a month behind. I do not know what to do.

Complaint: these company is trying to collect a debt that is 12 years old. It was a lease return in XX/XX/XXXX to Honda Finance. They sent me a bill I refused to pay. Honda charge it off as a profit and loss for tax purpose. This was well past statue of limitation I filed Chapter XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX and Honda was part of the creditors matrix. They agreed to 28 % of balance in the Chapter XXXX and accepted payments. I dismissed the XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX and over two years now they have forwarded my account the this firm to collect the balance that is inflated. They have no legal recourse it is 15 years old just scam artist trying to XXXX mw. I sent them Cease and Desist and asked them to never contact me again. Really Honda should concern them self with the destruction on innocent people on the XXXX airbag issue.

Complaint: American Honda Financial replied to the initial complaint with nothing but lies. The only thing that matches their records is my name my social security number and my date of birth. That 's the information that was stolen from my identity over 20 years ago and that 's been proven by the police and the courts. I defy American Honda Financial to give you any truthful documents to show the that car was bought at the address I 've been living in since XXXX or that it was bought by myself while I was out of the country from XXXX of XXXX until XXXX of XXXX. I would like them to show you with documents that they are nothing but liars and full of XXXX because they can not prove anything else except those items that were stolen from me over 20 years ago. The North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles is aware that somebody obtain the license back in XXXX from online with my information and when I asked them to give me a new drivers license they said since it was done online they would not give me a new driver 's license number. The next year in XXXX on move to South Carolina and have lived here ever since. American Honda Financial comes back with a short response but nothing but lies because nothing they said can be proven by them outside of those XXXX items I 've already told you that were stolen from me. I want them to reply to each and every XXXX of these claims they do not have my correct work information they do not have my correct address that the car was bought with and they do not have personal information outside of mine that would have been used to identify the account. So I please request American Honda Financial to give you the documents they claim are real and I can show that none of the information they provide his true or real pertaining to me individually only through a stolen identity.

Complaint: I was going to be late on my car payments for a lease vehicle. I asked if could get a month skipped and added to the back of the ending term agreement. I was told no, and they can only change the due day out 15 days. I had the due date changed, and paid that month it was do. Unfortunately I still was out of work and could n't keep up with the payments. I asked again for possible skipping months or did I have any other options, but was told no. I was never offered any option. I was determining I could catch up with the payments but just before I got the money to catch up the leased vehicle was repossessed. I called to see if I could get the vehicle back but Honda Finance want XXXX for the full price of the vehicle not the XXXX that would have brought car current with late fees.

Complaint: I renewed the lease on my car, and my state requires that taxes associated with that are paid up front for the duration of the lease. I made the full payment for my car for the month, but I was not able to include the taxes associated with this. Honda applied my payment to the taxes, not the car, and then reported me 30 days late. I called Honda and they acknowledged that the payment should have been applied to my car payment and not the taxes, so they removed the 30 day late. However, I renewed my lease payment again, they applied my payment to the taxes and not the car payment again, and I have a late on my credit for this reason again in XXXX 2017 with XXXX. I would like to see the 30 day late removed, for XXXX as I did make my car payment, just not the payment for taxes.

This loan was fully discharged and included with our bankruptcy that was finalized and reported to the credit bureas on XX/XX/XXXX. We recently tried to apply for a refinance loan on a different auto loan, and since the bankruptcy our payment history has been 100 %. The loan officer called and said that the credit bureas were showing that we were 60 days late on this ATV loan and that it was showing open and active. We have not even had the ATV since XX/XX/XXXX, not just that but after 2 years now they are reporting it is an active account and reporting delinquency in payment history. This was written off and we did NOT reaffirm loan, So I 'm not sure why they chose to start reporting this invalid loan all of a sudden 2 months ago. This is very frustrated for someone who is trying to rebuild and doing everything right. I need this off my credit ASAP. Any help to do so would be greatly appreciated. As you can seen on the documents I have sent that everything stated is legitimate. There should be 3 attachment including my original Bankruptcy paperwork that shows this loan was included in Chapter XXXX

Complaint: I requested an extension for my car payment for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. American Honda finance told me they would call me back about it and it should be no problem. I received a call back stating I would need to pay the late charges associated with the account before I can be granted an extension. I made my full car payment that date which happened to be one day late. ( XX/XX/XXXX day ). They never reported it late. The next month ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I paid my full car payment on the XX/XX/XXXX day. American Honda reported it late 30 days. I have never made a 30 late payment for the XXXX cars I financed in my life time.
