Complaint: I purchased a new vehicle from XXXX XXXX in XXXX PA on XXXX/XXXX/16. When we did the loan information we got the payoff of my vehicle from Honda Financial Services which totaled {$12000.00}. I received a letter from Honda Financial Services on XXXX/XXXX/16 that my account was paid in full and I received a check for {$8.00} due to an over payment. Now on XXXX/XXXX/16 I received a call from Honda saying that my account is owed {$800.00}. They had a system error that caused a payment I made to be put on the system twice. They reversed both payments and now I owe that money. My understanding is that if the account is paid off it should include all payments owed on the vehicle and I no longer have possession of the vehicle. Due to their system having the issue I do n't feel that it is my responsibility to owe this money and I do n't want it to effect my credit.

Complaint: I cosigned for a loan in which I am responsible for all money required to fulfill the contract. The signer defaulted on loan. Loan company sent a notice of plan to sell property-private.it included a reinstatement or redemption letter. The signer has no means to redeem or reinstate the loan. I decided to redeem the vehicle. They had imposed XXXX requirements to redeem vehicle, I complied. They had sent a release to the repossession company and I retrieved vehicle. I had requested they send lien release and title to my address. Not to the default y signer, they agreed to this. They took my address and said they will overnight the paperwork .This did not happen After a day or so had passed I called and requested to be sent same and again they promised overnight delivery. This did not happen. I called again and spoke to a person who had told me she will not send these documents to me because she believes that the default y signer had more money involved and deserved the vehicle. I have taken this up with all thew law enforcement agencies at hand to no eval this includes the ca. dmv. The default signer came to my home and took the vehicle. The ca dmv has started paperwork for transfer of owner to me but I can not complete without the lien release form. I sent a demand letter for the same but they have not responded. They have faxed/facsimile to me knowing the Ca DMV does not except facsimile copies. A XXXX XXXX had told me to sign up for and aquire a XXXX Account and send the account number info to her and she will overnight the lien release, They again deceived me, which from the beginning they have deceived me at every point.I attached my fax page to this account of XXXX.

Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I engaged in a traded in with my XXXX Honda Civic at XXXX XXXX, because the car battery continued to fail. I was told by the dealer that in order to trade in the car I would need to commit to a new car to receive financing. At the time of trade in I was told that there were no more comparable cars on the lot, so I choose to finance a Honda Accord. I was informed that the monthly payments would be XXXX due to my history and score which was a XXXX - XXXX at the time. Because I was dependent on a car for work and personal responsibilities, I agreed reluctantly to finance this amount. As I struggled to make the payments, I 'd had spoken to Honda Finance regarding lowering my payments but was informed that it could not be done at the time. After completing a XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX and performing my own research thereafter, I realize I was a victim of discrimination as an XXXX XXXX women being manipulated to pay unreasonable high interest rates on a Honda Accord over the course of 6 years. I 've been struggling for close to 4 years not realizing the extent of this violation against me and felt that I was obligated to pay this rate due to poor credit.

Complaint: My mother died in XXXX XXXX and at the time of her death was leasing a car from Honda Financial Services, with whom her account was in good standing ( i.e., she had made all lease payments on time and in full ). Upon her death, we voluntarily surrendered her car to Honda Financial Services in pristine condition, provided Honda with a copy of my mother 's death certificate, and proactively inquired as to what balance was owed on her lease. In response, Honda first sent a confusing letter in XXXX XXXX that insinuated ( a ) that they had repossessed the vehicle ( when in fact it was voluntarily returned ) and ( b ) that my deceased mother owed Honda a {$15000.00} " Gross Early Termination Amount '' ( in spite of a lease agreement that specifies that the Early Termination Liability is the lesser of the remaining payments due on the lease term - which in total amounted to only {$5700.00} - or the Standard Early Termination Liability ( good luck figuring out the legal jargon used to articulate the definition for this term ). Now, Honda has sent correspondence indicating that they have " charged off '' my mother 's account and threatening my deceased mother that if she does not pay her balance in full ( a balance that Honda has yet to communicate as of XXXX XXXX ), then Honda may pursue unspecified legal action. On one level, this is laughable, as Honda is attempting to communicate with a deceased person. On another level, it is infuriating and insulting as I have proactively contacted Honda no fewer than four times, attempting to determine what amount was owed on the lease and was prepared to pay the amount lawfully due under the terms of her lease. Most concerning, however, is the fact that Honda Financial Services ' written communications and stated terms and conditions are deceptive in nature and their business practices are despicable.

Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, We really need some help. We had a high interest loan through Honda Finacical since 2010 on a 2010 XXXX XXXX We recently traded in the vehicle to XXXX as they agreed to payoff the rest of the loan. We notified Honda of this the very next day after signing the contract with XXXX. The XXXX dealer needed the exact payoff amount and tried to call Honda Financial multiple times. They refused to give the info. to XXXX. I then called Honda Financial back who told me that if XXXX did n't make the payment right away they were going to mark us 30 days late on our credit. I told them we did n't have nor own the car anymore. I had a contract, paperwork, I could send to them. They did n't care. I asked them numerous times to contact XXXX to verify what I was telling them. They took XXXX 's info. but according to XXXX, did n't contact them. XXXX said they had consistent problems when dealing with Honda Financial and this was n't anything new. I ca n't tell you how many times we tried to contact Honda Financial. At XXXX point we spoke to a customer service rep named " XXXX '' who refused to give her last name. We then spoke to a supervisor named XXXX who did n't seem to care but told me I could fax her paperwork to prove that the dealer purchased the Honda. I faxed the paperwork but never heard a thing. Honda was determined to mark our credit 30 days late ( a mark WE NEVER HAD in 5 years of financing the vehicle! ) I think possibly they wanted to continue to charge interest? Finally after many days of going back and forth XXXX was able to payoff the entire loan. But not until more interest accrued and our credit was marked 30 days late! Why do n't these financial institutions care about people? My wife leased an XXXX last year ( through Honda Financial ) and is now hating it because of the way that Honda treated us. We are trying to purchase a home for our family and then negative mark on our credit is actually hurting that dream! XXXX wanted the payoff amount and Honda made it so difficult to obtain the info. We have documentation to prove that we signed the contract with XXXX to purchase the Honda BEFORE being 30 days late on a payment. Honda accrued more interest from making it hard to payoff this car but what did they gain from marking our credit report? Why did n't they want to help has after ( and continuing to be ) loyal customers for so many years?? Again, I would like to make it clear that XXXX was attempting to pay Honda on time so our credit would n't be marked with a late payment. Honda made this impossible and was not cooperative.

Complaint: I leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX VIN # XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX in XXXX, MD. The car was new with XXXX miles on odometer ; presently XXXX miles. After all leasing paperwork was completed to lease this car ; the salesman INFORMED ME AIR BAGS ARE NOT WORKING AND I WOULD HAVE TO BRING CAR BACK TO MAKE THEM OPERABLE. He said he had to KEEP all of my leasing papers ; no paperwork for me at all!
Everyone at dealership was aware of airbag problem but me. To make it worse, the car has had problems since I have had it. This car would not even pass inspection so why was it on the lot for sale? I have asked repeatedly for my copy of the lease ; to no avail. XXXX person sent a XXXX page " lease '' on letter size pages and parts were obviously obscured and it was n't readable. I received THREE different stories on airbags including " oh so you 're the one who bought it ''. The COO, XXXX, basically said I was stupid and why did I buy the car! Was very rude, yelled at me ; offered me to bring car back and he would APPRAISE IT then find another car. He promised to call me back ; of course I have n't heard from him. The XXXX, XXXX XXXX, was very ANGRY towards me along with arrogant, rude, constanting interrupting me and uncompromising. Something would be said about a recall ; but this was not a recall! He said he called me several times ( no record in my call history ) but I have found that they lie easily. The XXXX actually called ME a liar! Legally, as of XXXX XXXX Federal Law mandated that every automobile have working air bags when sold INCLUDING new cars. In XXXX ( XXXX ) of XXXX Part XXXX : Defect and Noncompliance Responsibility establishes requirements for format and contents of manufacturer notification to owner who is first owner of motor vehicle and motor vehicle equipment of a defect relating to motor vehicle safety and noncompliance with a Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. As of XXXX XXXX, XXXX Federal law required XXXX information on certification label affixed to motor vehicle to provide consumer with information to assist with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. This makes my car an illegal lease agreement and the sale null and void. I have tried working with American Honda Customer Service Liaison, beginning XXXX. The case number is XXXX. The " arbitrator '' was always a man named XXXX and we never agreed even closely to rectifying the illegal sale. We spoke several times over a period of months but with no resolution. He was definitely a XXXX employee. The car malfunctions are too numerous to list here ; but the brakes grabbing unexpectedly, the car 's missing when accelerating, making noises while driving and after car is shut off, and that auto lights do n't always come on are the most serious safety hazards. Help!

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I entered into a 36 month lease for a Acura MDX at {$500.00} per month. Included in the lease was the Ohio sales tax of {$1200.00}, which was amortized over the life of the lease in the {$500.00} payment. On XX/XX/XXXX I extended the lease XXXX months, and was required to make an up front payment of {$190.00} for the Ohio sales tax on the extension. As the {$1200.00} sales tax was amortized over the original lease term, my payment should have been reduced by the portion of the {$500.00} going to pay off that obligation, that amount would be approximately {$36.00} per month.
When I called Acura Financial Services I was told they would not correct this inequity.
My last conversation was on XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX who told me they would do nothing for me.

Complaint: I had a loan with Honda Financial Services since XXXX. I paid timely and was never late. I paid this loan in full in XXXX of XXXX. This vehicle was purchased with proceeds from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. So my obligation to Honda Financial Services ( HFS ) ended and the debt was completely liquidated at that time. I have documents to support this.
After that fact, HFS paid an amount for vehicle taxes of approximately {$690.00} and sent me a bill. I did not agree that I owed that money to the taxing authority and liquidating that tax debt could undermine my ability to get it corrected by the taxing authority. I believe the tax was calculated incorrectly. Nevertheless I paid HFS but not after they reported me as being 30 days late on the account : an account that was paid in full. I never gave them permission to reopen the credit, nor to pay these fees on my behalf after they had no further right, title or interest in the property. I have been billed separately by the County of XXXX for taxes due on this vehicle. The amount paid by HFS is not a legitimate debt ; is related to a loan that was paid in full and they " reopened '' the credit, on a non-revolving account without my consent and without lawful authority. I sent a letter with return receipt requested with supporting documentation. The matter was removed from my credit at that time. It has since reappeared, so I asked that it be removed. Now Honda claims it is legitimate! This is a blatant violation of not responding timely ( within 30 days ), removing the item and XXXX causing its reappearance.
Moreover, it is not a legitimate debt. I paid that loan in full in XXXX of XXXX. How can I possibly have been 30 day delinquent in XXXX XXXX. Please help me regain my good credit. Please guide me in any further recourse I may have against Honda.
