Complaint: This is my third report towards AMEX. When my account was first opened in XXXX, 2016, I was uninformed that the card was a pay in full at the end of each month. This unintentional error caused my account to be closed. I immediately attempted to resolve the debt and made a payment arrangement. When the payment arrangement was handled, I called back to update the arrangement and pay a payment sooner. After this payment was made, another unauthorized payment was made. This unauthorized payment resulted in 8 months of XXXX and XXXX as I attempted to collect my money back. I made 2 CFPB complaints. The first was resolved stating that AMEX refunded my money. They never did even though I was told on three separate occasions via telephone that a check was being sent. The second CFPB complaint finally resolved the issue. I was issued a refund check 7 months after the initial unauthorized payment. I paid my account in full and now I need to have my credit report fixed to show that no late payments were made, as AMEX refused to help during the time they held my money without authorization.

Complaint: Based on goods not delivered by the merchant, a dispute was submitted. Prior to submitting a dispute, I contacted the merchant to resolve. I got an email from Amex indicating that there was a secure message which I was not able to find in the site and unable to access. At this point, I used the chat feature to connect with Amex to see what they required for dispute information. The information on the dispute was generic and did not provide specific for me to action on. " We require additional information from you to resolve your claim. If you have not done so already, please provide the requested information at your earliest convenience. The Inquiry Reference Number is displayed above. '' I tried the upload but that received an error and the agent gave me another link to another page to upload which failed few times. First chat agent did not seem to understand the issue so I asked for supervisor. Supervisor asked to submit a letter detailing out the issue which was addressed in the original complaint. When I asked, there was no additional information nor there was any additional information. I did not receive specific information about request in paper mail or email asking for information. Complaint: X/X/17 I tried to follow up with Amex to let them know I 'm trying to get my debt resolved and what I can pay. i explain to them that my business has faced a hardship and was forced to close, but i am willing to try to pay XXXX a month until the debt is resolved or i can pay remaining balance i XX/XX/XXXX. They are telling me if I do n't pay in full they will keep attacking my credit with late fees and past due payments even though i am still currently making small payments to the Closed account. I was offered 2 payment plans that were out of my budget at this time and i explained to the rep this is a closed account that i am trying to pay on i should n't be paying amounts as high as my car note to resolve this debt I 'm trying to make payments that i can follow through with and works best for me and my family cause they have to eat. so i do n't understand why they not trying to help me in my situation when I 'm trying to do the right thing and pay the debt.

Complaint: I have been with American Express since XX/XX/XXXX. You can see from my records that I paid in full without default over these times till XX/XX/XXXX, when this incident happened. XX/XX/XXXX due to our business expansion and travel I had a shortage of cash flow and had a delay in payment. On XX/XX/XXXX a representative form American Express called about the payment delays and I agreed to make full payment in 4 installments on the condition that fees, fines and annual fees will be waived ( by this time there were fees and fines imposed ). Based on this agreement, one fourth of total amount I owed ( {$1200.00} ) was paid immediately with the customer service agent. Then I was instructed to make 3 more payments beginning of next month. I did a second payment of {$1100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX Based on this plan I was to make next payment on XX/XX/XXXX and the final payment on XX/XX/XXXX. Unfortunately, beginning about XX/XX/XXXX I started getting many calls from American Express demanding immediate payment of full amount of {$2400.00}, including fees and fines which were waived earlier by the customer service person who arranged the 4 installment payment plan. So, I decided to hold further payment until this issue was resolved, although I did make minimum payments of {$100.00} and {$200.00} each in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, hoping in good faith this could be resolved. Since then I got many threatening calls from American Express about this, none have resolved the issue. In XX/XX/XXXX I got collection notice from XXXX XXXX, agency for American Express, with a demand for payment of {$2400.00} ( which included fees, fines and annual fees ). After contesting this with the collection agency and American Express, I agreed to pay the amount of {$1900.00} once they agreed to waive the fees, fines, and annual fees. American Express also agreed to remove information posted on my credit report. I paid this amount as I agreed in XX/XX/XXXX. Then I received a letter ( dated XX/XX/XXXX, see attached ) from American Express stating that we removed the amount under review for {$1900.00} from your account. But, this has not happened since my credit report from XXXX still showing charge off, written off {$2400.00} even now. They also stated that I still owe {$560.00}, which are fees and fines, in disregard to the agreement we made. I received another letter from American Express ( dated XX/XX/XXXX, see attached ) stating that Due to technical error, we overcharged your Employee Card annual fee ( s ) and are now refunding those fees. This also not happened since all my credit reports shows charge off and balance due. Now one of my credit report, XXXX, shows charge off, balance of {$2400.00} and others ( XXXX and XXXX ) showing charge off or balance of {$480.00}, which are wrong. As you can see from the explanation above I have paid all debts due to American Express. Because of the erroneous credit report I am having trouble getting loans and declined. I request to resolve this immediately so I can be financially stable.

Complaint: I was approved for American Express Delta Reserve card on XX/XX/XXXX. Terms stipulated that XXXX XXXX XXXX MQMs ( medallion qualifying miles ) would be posted to my account after the first purchase, and another XXXX Delta MQMs posted after spending over {$30000.00} on the card. I reached this spending threshold on XX/XX/XXXX. As of XX/XX/XXXX, I have received neither the initial XXXX MQMs nor the additional XXXX MQMs to my account. I spoke with an AMEX representative in XX/XX/XXXX, who said the miles should post 8 weeks after the initial purchase, or on or about XX/XX/XXXX, and another representative in XX/XX/XXXX who said that both bonuses would post after the third statement cycle. Both of these time periods have long since passed. On XX/XX/XXXX, an AMEX representative informed me that I would have to contact XXXX XXXX to inquire as to the status of the miles. XXXX XXXX informed me that they have no record of any miles posting and can not do so until they are allotted by the financial institution.
