Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: OnXX/XX/XXXX, an online order was placed with XXXX XXXX for movies. I used my American Express card for payment. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, a neighbor indicated returned items in open box with two movies were left at her door. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called XXXX XXXX customer service reporting not receiving stolen items and tampered items in box. The call was recorded as evidence. XXXX XXXX own documents support stolen items indicating " left with woman '' and it should be noted at a wrong address. See attached XXXX XXXX documents. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called American Express to dispute charges. See attached letter datedXX/XX/XXXX OnXX/XX/XXXX, I returned two movies and reported stolen items to XXXX XXXX store employee. I also showed as evidence tampered box. See attached receipts and XXXX XXXX documents. OnXX/XX/XXXX, I received American Express response with documents from XXXX XXXX supporting my position of stolen items to unknown woman and delivered to wrong address. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with XXXX from American Express. I indicated to him of the wrong address and delivery to unknown woman. I also indicated I never received my order from XXXX XXXX. XXXX refused to dispute the charges and indicated my charges would not be credited. XXXX also refused to credit the returned items showing XXXX XXXX had received the returned items. He advised me regardless I would have to pay the total charges.

Problem with rewards from credit card
Complaint: American express has frozen all of membership points for no reason at all. I have called several times and they keep telling me it will take 6-8 weeks for someone at corporate to review my account. I believe they have " randomly '' picked me out just because of my XXXX name. I can not find another reason for them doing this.There is no reason that ALL my XXXX membership rewards point should be frozen and this includes all my membership points accumulated, going on for several years now. This should be illegal.

I also asked the original creditors as well as XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX to provide me proof of the signed contract and copies of any documentation associated with this account, bearing my signature which they claim the account belongs to me. Furthermore, I formally asked the original creditors I listed, as well as the XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, that In the absence of any such documentation bearing my signature, I formally request that the information be immediately deleted from my credit file they maintained under my Social Security number. As of XX/XX/XXXX, no one from the original creditors and the Credit Bureau still have not provided me with any documentation or contracts, bearing my wet signature, showing me proof that I consented to them running any inquires or having a contract with them for what they say belongs to me. I was also told by original creditors, as well as the 3 credit bureau, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, that they do n't have to show me any proof of a signed contract, bearing my wet signature, and that I heeded to take it up with the Credit bureau to get it removed. In other words, giving me the run around. When requesting documented proof of the contract and asking to show proof I consented to having the original creditors run inquiries, bearing my wet signature, the original creditors sent me billing statement stating this was verification. I never asked for billing statement because that 's not showing any contract or documented proof, bearing my wet signature, that they was authorized to run an inquiry or even prove the account is even mine. This is wrong and when I asked where does it say in the FCRA that you do n't have to show me proof, they could n't tell me and only said that it was in FCRA.

Credit card company won't increase or decrease your credit limit
Complaint: American Express extended a credit limit of {$7000.00}. I used about {$3800.00} dollars of the credit extended. American Express assessed my credit standing and decided to reduce my credit limit due to a lower credit score than expected. However, they retroactively reduced the limit to an amount beyond the current balance. They reduced the limit to {$3400.00} the day after I last used it. Now I have a negative balance on the account and they are reporting that I exceeded the credit limit. When I used the card the credit limit was {$7000.00}. I did not exceed the limit or use credit that was not extended. The $ XXXX credit limit will seriously impact my credit score and credit report and indicate to other credit companies that I negligently went over the credit limit.That will have a detriment impact on me for future credit transactions. I contacted the company and they refused to restore credit up to the current balance unless I pay {$1600.00} to them. This is an unfair credit transaction and an violation of the fair credit reporting act.

Confusing or misleading advertising about the credit card
Complaint: Within the company 's " Amex Offers '' XXXX, they list an offer with a headline that reads : " Spend $ 500+, get XXXX Membership Rewards points ''. The listed merchant is amextravel.com, which implies that all purchases made at amextravel.com should be covered. They then allowed me to enroll in the offer without the display of any further terms on their website. Because of this offer, I went on to cancel a flight that I had with a different credit card in order to re-buy the flight with my XXXX XXXX XXXX Card instead. This flight cost {$620.00}, which is above the limit required for the offer. After not receiving the XXXX bonus points, I went back to the offer and noticed there were very materially important terms left out of the headline. Specifically, I had to spend the {$500.00} on hotels at amextravel.com. This was never made clear to me before enrolling in the offer and canceling my flight with another card in order to earn the reward. This seems entirely misleading to me. There was no way for me to know that this would only work on hotels when I enrolled in the offer, and it forced me to make a significant financial decision because of it.

Reference number the case number above and the other one.
The reason I put the Clerk of Court, I trust her, and also signed documents to Trade Secret with her, and the reason I address to the CFPB Director to let him know, what is going on with this CFPB office to corrected, and Attorney XXXX XXXX was our Attorney, and I talked to him to help us to transfer our money from the XXXX XXXX XXXX to our account here on XXXX.
I also want to address that I declared our civil rights has been violated as well as our privacy has been violated too.

Complaint: 2015 amount- approx. {$2000.00} company American express I sent 7 letters and retained copies of all I spoke to customer service reps at least 6 times I sent letter to president of Amex I sent letter to credit bureaus explaining my case company wrote off amount as noted in my credit report and also noted I objected intial charge {$1500.00} for a plane ticket that Amex travel booked for me that was cancelled 5 days after booking and 5 months before anticipated usuage. They argued ticket was non refundable ( never told to me ) and they have tape of conversation that I asked 7 times to produce but they never did..because it doesnt exist, imagine I was client for over 30 years and spent an average of over 100k per year and always current and they cancelled my credit, advised credit bureau that had a whole lot of reprecusssions for me. HOW ABSURD that we could n't figure this out and they seemingly had no desire to do so as well I have informed them I would meet with them face to face and cooperate any way I could but all for nothing ... ..they were convinced I committed some sort of crime and refuse to discuss matter as it is now written off. I want it off my credit report please if you can help thank you

Problem getting a working replacement card
Complaint: I have applied for American Express Delta SkyMiles Credit Card on XX/XX/2017, and got a mail directly to my home a week later, say that I got approved and the card should arrive within 7-10 business days.
However, I did n't received that after 4 weeks. On XX/XX/2017. I chatted online with one of the representative online, and they claimed the card was lost and promised a replacement will arrive on XX/XX/2017. I still did n't get that on that day and I had to contact them again. This time they kept dodging my questions and did n't admit the card was lost. They said the card would finally arrive on XX/XX/2017, exactly a month after the application and the card was sent an address different from my home. I believe there must be something in their system since I chose to let them send the card to my home address, which was always my billing address and I can not get approved if the address is wrong.
I applied for that card because I want to use that to buy fly tickets for my trip starting on XX/XX/XXXX and now I am unable to use any benefit of that. Moreover, the flight ticket has risen by about {$100.00} during my visiting. I have contacted their customer service and they can not provide a satisfactory solution.

Complaint: I applied for American Express credit card online 2015 which was never sent via mail. I got in touch with American Express to find out if I was approved, they said they sent a card, I told them I never received it, they said they would send another card, which I never received. I did n't receive anything from American Express until a year later for a charge of XXXX $ for apparently being a member. I never used any service with them, or receive the credit card via mail. I called them about the charge and let them know I never received the card or used any of their service so they should cancel the account and remove the XXXX $ charge which they refused.

Complaint: This is regarding my American Express business gold rewards credit card.
I met the spending requirement on XXXX 2017 ( {$5000.00} spending within 3 months for XXXX membership rewards points - spent total of {$5400.00} ).
American Express is refused to award the points because it insists I called in to " cancel my membership rewards account, '' but I NEVER contacted AMEX regarding this account in any way. When I spoke to an AMEX membership reward representative about it, there was indeed no record or proof of this, so they said they will credit the account of the XXXX points in 8-12 weeks.
I contacted customer service mid-way just to check progress and a representative named XXXX told me it will definitely be credited. It has been 14 weeks and AMEX has n't credited my account.
I contacted AMEX again and was told the exact same story ( that it wo n't be credited because I cancelled my account ) and that they will try escalating the issue to have it investigated. But it was ALREADY investigated and I was ALREADY told that it WILL be credited ( twice! once by membership reward rep via phone and once by the customer service rep via the chat function ).
I am sick of having to go back and forth about this. I have met the terms of the contract and AMEX admitted to making the mistake about me cancelling the membership reward account and that they will credit my account for the XXXX - I just want what they said they will do.
