Complaint: Applied for CC on XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) Website about XX/XX/XXXX which offered XXXX Starpoints after spending {$3000.00} within 3 months. Approved for offer, but never rec 'd CC. Called Customer service said would send CC right out, but after 2 weeks never rec 'd card for another week so called back & CS rep said will send XXXX, next day rec 'd card along with another card by post office. I used first card, but soon found would n't accept charges. So I used other card which did. When I rec 'd second bill, I called to see if I met requirements & when was I getting XXXX Starpoints. Rep said my card was n't eligible for points. At this point, I spent over {$4000.00}.
In my opinion, they mislead the program especially after approving my application. They never called me about not giving points or the CC I was using being ineligible. I was approved & after meeting the requirements for spending money I should be given my XXXX points. Switching my card w/o telling me should be some sort of violation i.e. fraud.

Complaint: I received an offer in the mail for XXXX Business Card promotion where I would get XXXX points after spending {$5000.00} in 3 months. I applied online with the promotion code and got approved. After receiving the card and before activating it, I called XXXX to verify my bonus eligibility since I had the similar card in the past. and they confirmed that I am eligible ( since I did n't have the same card in last 5 years ).
I have spent almost {$3200.00} in first 2 months already and now they are telling me, I will not eligible for the promotion even I spent {$5000.00} in 3 months since I have had the card in the past.
I am very upset and do n't know what to do next. These people are outright dishonest.

Finally, I discovered, these companies are doctrine illegal method to covered up the truth of our credit score file and doctrine illegal method to impact our credit score and delayed the processing of my credit card issue with American Express Bank in XXXX XXXX XXXX UT. and I just received letter from XXXX for Fraud Alert which I did not request and will expire on XX/XX/XXXX and all these companies sent me research from and they made inaccurate report so I can request the research form to delayed the issue of my credit card with American Express. The time, I report with CFPB when the XXXX employee called us and I gave her everything my wife 's personal information over the phone. I also request the CFPB to inform the American Express in XXXX XXXX XXXX. I sent the important disclosure file code number wrongly on my file address from Vice President XXXX from American Express to either one of the 3 major credit bereu above last Friday supposed to send back to American Express, and the expire Date will be XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: After receiving numerous solicitations from American Express to re-open my Platinum Delta Skymiles credit card, I finally decided to submit an application so I could receive the offer they were promoting. This offer was for XXXX delta miles and XXXX XXXX if I spent a minimum amount within the first 4 months ( as well as a {$100.00} stmt credit ). I called to confirm the offer and was told that I qualified since I had n't had this card in the last 12 months ( I had one previously but it had been 3+ yrs ).
I met the qualified spend in the XXXX timeframe. It seemed to be taking a while to receive my points so I called to ask where they were. I was informed it takes a couple months so call back later. Since then I have called a few more times. They kept telling me to be patient and they would be posting any day now.
On XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( today ), I called and was informed I have not received my points because I do not qualify for them. In addition to being misled by the marketing material I received, I was misinformed by all of the Amex CSRs. I was also charged the {$190.00} annual fee and have essentially received nothing for this when promised an intro offer.
I escalated this complaint to 3 levels of managers at Amex and the only goodwill gesture they could make was XXXX miles which is insulting. I have hurt by credit score by opening another card and paid an annual fee and they can do nothing for me.

Complaint: I have a merchant billing dispute and was informed my dispute can not proceed for 11 transactions while indicial disputes for two transactions were decided in my favor. The merchant, XXXX, operates prediction markets at XXXX and the transactions are for deposits to an online trading account. On my credit card statement, these transactions post as purchases and not cash advances. Shouldnt transactions like this be considered cash advances? I have seen other online ( non ATM ) transactions processed as cash advances. My AMEX card has a {$500.00} cash advance limit ( while my full credit line is {$7500.00} ) and if these transactions were processed as cash advances, it would not have been possible for me to deposit as much as I did. I have lost over {$83000.00} on this site through deposits on seven credit cards during a three month period, with over {$10000.00} on AMEX. During the month of XXXX XXXX alone, I have made over {$44000.00} in deposits. During the month of XXXX, I have made about {$27000.00} in deposits. This site takes unlimited amounts of deposits, only accepts deposits by credit card, and does not offer other options to fund their accounts, such as electric bank transfers. This does not seem right. I tried to work it out with the merchant to no avail.

Problem during payment process
Complaint: On XXXX XXXX of XXXX, I mistakenly sent a payment to an American Express credit card that has been closed since XXXX. The account with American Express was negotiated and settled for less than the amount owed through a court-approved judgment. I had made all payments as agreed to and satisfaction of the agreement was filed with the court. My account was closed and reported to the Credit Bureau as such with XXXX balance.
I accidentally sent a {$3000.00} payment to this closed American Express card as it used to be my XXXX branded card. By mistake or an online glitch, the payment was to be sent to my current XXXX XXXX credit card. When I did not see the payment credit after two weeks, I realized the issue.
I contact AMEX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, to return my {$3000.00}. They acknowledged receiving the monies and acknowledged it was received against a settled and closed account. They promised to send a check back to me in the mail and took my bank information in case they would prefer to wire the money back.
On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I called AMEX and got transferred to 7 different individuals where the last customer service guy, clearly speaking to me from XXXX, informed me that AMEX will not return my money back. Their excuse is that I voluntarily sent the money to them and they are not obligated to send it back to me. This is, of course, unacceptable for many reasons : 1 ) We have a negotiated and completed settlement agreement filed and executed with the court 2 ) AMEX attempted to deny receiving my payments in the past and garnished my account. I sued them and reversed the judgment as I proved they had received all payment. An application to remove judgment was filed by AMEX 3 ) My credit Bureaus report " AMEX account Closed '', " Charged Off '', " XXXX Balance '' 4 ) AMEX has already received a tax credit against this charge off. My tax dollars were utilized with the charge off 5 ) Why would I ever spend {$3000.00} to an already closed and charged off account.
6 ) How could a Multi-Billion dollar in quarterly profits company like American Express take advantage of a struggling consumer like I am is beyond any moral, corporate, social or ethical protocols?

Complaint: I opened a new American Express platinum card with XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. It was advertised ( and still advertising ) that if you spent {$5000.00} within the first 3 months youll get a 60,000 bonus points. I met the requirements within the first 3 months and I was expecting my 60k bonus points by the end of XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXXpassed and I did not see the bonus points. I called Amex and they said it will come in XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX passed and I still did not receive the bonus points. I called them in XX/XX/XXXX and they said that Ill see the bonus points in my account by the time my statement closes on the XX/XX/XXXX. My statement closes on the XX/XX/XXXX and still no bonus point. I started calling them almost every week of XX/XX/XXXX and the first week they told me it will be done manually from the corporate office, the following week I called to follow up and another person told me that they already opened a case with the case number XXXX. The following week I was told that the case was in my favor that Ill get the 60k bonus points by the end of XX/XX/XXXX. A week to the end of XX/XX/XXXXI called and they told me that it did not specify a particular date but it just said XX/XX/XXXX.
I didnt get anything in XX/XX/XXXX, so I was hoping that by the time my statement closes by XX/XX/XXXX Ill see the bonus points. This was what the person I spoke to told me. I spoke to her on the first week of this month XX/XX/XXXX ( just few days before the statement closes ). She said thats the deadline ( 6-8 weeks ) after they investigated and the points was in my favor.
Now 6-8 weeks has passed. Its been 4 months since I qualified for the 60,000 bonus points but XXXX has refused to award me the points.
They charged the {$550.00} membership fee on the first month, but they dont want to honor their words as part of the card agreement.
