Complaint: A friend of mine wanted to sign up for my credit card - the Delta Platinum Skymiles American Express. I sent him the referral link on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX which he used to sign up. He was approved and signed up, I have even seen his card since then. I called several times, including XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and they told me they did n't even see him as a member. He then called to verify his info and opened a ticket XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. He was given a ticket number XXXX and told we should follow up in 6-8 weeks. as of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, my friend called back in and was told it was still active. I called in XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and was hung up on, called back in and was told that they deemed I did not earn the referral points. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said someone would call me back, nobody ever did. Today XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I called in and they said I did not earn the XXXX points because my friend did n't use the link ... which he in fact did use. I asked to speak to a supervisor again and was told they would call me back. I refused that given my prior experience and was put on hold and eventually transferred. The supervisor told me she can not help, that I would have to reopen another ticket that would take up to another 120 days to review and that I should call tech support at XXXX. At this point, I am so frustrated. I have another friend who wants to sign up but I refuse to refer her in to such a flawed system. I have been a member since XXXX and am beyond frustrated. This is for XXXX referral points!

On XXXX XXXX I authorized my card for payment to XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of$ XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX and $XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX. The entire amount was credited back to the account on XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have the conformation. I will not wait thirty days for all my money. I Will give your agency until tomorrow XXXX XXXX XXXX to make my money available to me. If this has not happened I will contact the CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU. IF this is not resolved I will start Legal actions. I will be asking for more than $ 360.00. Someone my call me@ XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have spoke with three of your Employees XXXX, XXXX, XXXX all with Customers Service/Blue bird. All has lied. These people are holding the money that not only belongs to me but a potion that belongs to my Cousin as well. I refuse to wait fifteen (15) or (30) days for my money. XXXX has released the funds, so why I have to wait. When I spoke to one on the Customer Service Person, I was told their office was located in the XXXX. Theses funds were taken out the same day requested, the funds should be back in my account by now

Complaint: hi my name is XXXX XXXX XXXX, I 'm writeing requiring assistance regarding the relevance of my American Express Serve refillable debit card-gift card ... ..aswell in accordance with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.program. i was offered the opportunity from a operator in a American express Serve card, discrepiancy -XXXX/call. from there within being told i would be able to attain for a fee of XXXX dollars..not only in relevance of a lost or stolen card ... but when i agree i would be able to add a second card even if prepaid and i still would be able to have the opportunity to refferiance if not or never memorized the card or account number, .. to both by route of the American Express Served card , weather over seas as well as refferiancible international ... with the ability to obtain with only or initially just providing my social security, ..address ... .birthdate, .aswell as the purchase date and following transactions from purchase about five transactions ... my problem is i ca n't get the right office with the XXXX XXXX XXXX ( program ) - ..i got a bunch of different numbers one was XXXX ... but none would help they just keep redirecting me.. i need my money urgently so I 'm sending this .... i even upon purchase inquired if Serve card relevance within the nesicety to contact you guys at the XXXX ... would provide immediate clarity with what i need ... from there/here i need my account number or card number as soon as possible I 'm unable to access my funds an their would be $ XXXX-and change on the card/in the account.. for the original gift card swell as there would be $ XXXX- dollars in the Serve card account/or serve card ... from there i have a bit i have to pay tomorrow early i would like you to speak to them they usually work pretty quickly the last occurrance i believe i needed a confirmation number or an refferiance number hubby if you work with haste i would be able to fulfill my obligation with no further sacrificing ACTS! ill also file an accessibility complaint with you guys refferencibly XXXX XXXX XXXX, from there associating XXXX XXXX XXXX the Section Chief ordinet, information and policy ... aswell as XXXX XXXX the decisions analyst ... to gain some alacrity ... ..but initially please help as-soon as possible i believe only a phone call I 'm just without the direct number -depatrtment relevance is severe ... pleas prior to the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX..XXXX

Complaint: Ongoing issues with Bluebird American Express where everytime you have a refund come back from a retailor the transaction is held for several days under merchant credit review. I had a refund from a merchant who physically swipped my card to issue refund around XXXX. On XXXX it was placed on merchant credit review. Today on XXXX i call for an explanation and i get told its for security reasons they hold the refund and that they review the transaction. Magically it will be released tomorrow XXXX. XXXX business days later.

Complaint: Second time this matter has been brought up with the cfpb. American Express offered an interest free business account for 9 months. Shortly thereafter, I began receiving interest fees on the account. I filed a complaint and the fees were refunded. I skimmed through my statements the last three months and noticed that interest fees were once again assessed. I reached out to American Express and chatted with employee named XXXX ( ID XXXX ). He mentioned that my payment was late and for that reason interest was charged. I explained to XXXX that my payment could not have been late as the account was set up for automatic payment. XXXX explained that since the auto payment had been cancelled by a previous representative ( without my request ) that a new auto payment needed to be set up. I requested that he refund the interest fee and he proceeded by refusing the refund.

Complaint: I RESPONDED TO AN OFFER BY American Express TO GET XXXX POINTS IF I SPENT {$3000.00} IN 3 MONTHS, WHICH I DID.I DID NOT RECEIVE THE POINTS & THEY CLAIM THE OFFER WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO ME ; HOWEVER, ON MY AMEX CARD WEBSITE, THE OFFER WAS DISPLAYED NUMEROUS TIMES DURING THE MONTH.ALSO, A SEARCH OF CREDIT CARD OFFERS FOR THAT MONTH INDICATED THE SAME OFFER.I APPLIED FOR THE CARD 0N XXXX XXXX .I CURRNTLY HAVE HAD AN AMEX CARD FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND ON AND OFF OVER THE COURSE OF XXXX, WHEN I LOGGED ONTO MY ACCT, THERE WOULD BE AN OFFER TO UPGRADE TO A XXXX HONORS XXXX & RECEIVE THEBONUS POINTS NOTED ABOVE.I SPENT THE {$3000.00} IN ABOUUT AMONTH XXXX BUT NO POINTS WERE GIVEN.I CALLED AND SPOKE TWICE TO VARIOU REPS., AND WAS GIVEN A CONTROL # ABOUT MY COMPLAINT. AROUND XXXX/XXXX/XXXX ( XXXX XXXX & WAS TOLD I WOULD HEAR FROM THEM IN 6-8 WEEKS.NEVER DID SO I CALLED LAST WEEK & THEY TOLD ME I WAS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE AS I HAD NOT RECEIVED AN OFFER FOR IT EVEN THOUGH I HAD RECEIVED THIS NUMEROUS TIMES ON MY WESITE & STILL DO. I have downloaded various info about the bonus upgrade which is available now & was available during most of XXXX.
