Complaint: While at XXXX XXXX XXXX a student loan I had received from Wells Fargo went into rep ayment. This would have been in XXXX , I found out about this in XXXX when access to cellphones was authorized. As a result, negative reporting was made to the credit bureaus. Because my credit score is so young, this reporting dropped my credit score o ver XXXX points. It should be noted that immediately upon return home, a payment was made in excess to what was required. There 's XXXX areas of question : I was under military orders during the time of repayment and had no prior indication this loan would go into repayment during that period. XXXX , the loan should not have gone into repayment during that period. I graduated XXXX XXXX XXXX with a XXXX year XXXX . in Physics. According to the loan request/credit agreement I signed with Wells Fargo, the repayment period starts immediately after the interim period which is defined by : " a ) 6 months after I cease to be enrolled at school, unless I re-enroll in another school eligible under Title IV of the Higher Education Act or another eligible school approved by you within that 6 month period ; or b ) 4 years after the date of my first disbursement if I am enrolled in a two-year program of study ; or c ) 7 years after the date of my first disbursement if I am enrolled in a four-year program of study. '' According to this article, my loan should have never have been in repayment, because I would have 6 months of interim from my graduation date. All of my federal student loans followed this. Wells Fargo states the because the type of loan I received is for " career and community coll eges '', this puts the repayment status as on for a XXXX year program. However, this is not what the agreement I signed says. In summary, I received negative reporting on my credit report from a private student loan with Wells Fargo, while on XXXX XXXX , during a repayment period which should have been an interim period as stated by the loan agreement. I feel that Wells Fargo is practicing unfair lending, and doing anything to protect themselves from having acted wrongfully.I have no problems repaying the loan, the only action I wish to accomplish is the negative reporting taken off my credit report. I 'm not able to effectively manage my finances before my next report date due to this significant drop in my credit score. I am able to provided as much documentation as needed to support my case.

Complaint: We opened a secured credit line with Wells Fargo for our business for {$2000.00}. After a year, they declined to move it off a secured line. We chose to close the card because there 's no point in keeping a secured line if they refuse to graduate it to unsecured, it 's just a debit card with cash you ca n't withdraw at that point. On closing it, we were offered the choice between depositing the cash into our business checking, or having a cashier 's check mailed. We chose to have it deposited to our checking account and were told it would take 7-10 business days. 11 business days later, we still do n't have our money. I returned to the branch and the same reps that closed it tell me their credit team put it in to be mailed to us as a cashiers check, and that it will take 30-45 calendar days. They offered no reasoning for why they switched methods, and no restitution for the fact that we will now be going up to an extra 21 days without our money.

Complaint: I sent a payment to Wells Fargo ( Home Projects loan ) electronically from m y XXXX XXXX Checking Account for several months now. I got enough money recently to pay off the loan amount and sent in the enough money to payoff the loan of {$1600.00} electronically from my XXXX XXXX Checking Account to Wells Fargo Bank on XXXX XXXX . I checked my account on Friday XXXX XXXX and noted it had not applied to the balance. I contacted them on Friday XXXX XXXX using the websites message center and got a reply today that they never received my payment. I contacted XXXX XXXX just to be told tha t Wells Fargo refu sed my electronic payment and so they sent a check to the XXXX address that I had for Wells Fargo Financial National Ban k to pay on that loan. According to the XXXX XXXX representative, Wells Fargo ac cepted receipt of the check last week at the XXXX address. However, as of today it still has not be applied to my account and the payment is due today, XXXX XXXX , 2017. I sent a message to Wells Fargo asking that they review their records and verify they received the check ASAP. I have made copies of the communications that I have received and sent in their message center. They still do n't show the message I sent out today but I have the others. XXXX agreed to send me a copy of the information regards to the check and I 'll receive it within 7 days. They will put a stop payment on the check if I ask them but I do n't want to that because it is proof I sent the payment and it was received by Wells Fargo. Could you please help me ensure that Wells Fargo does n't mess up my credit? thank you

Complaint: This is the fifth time my family has complained about this fraudulent, predatory lending practices loan y Wells Fargo. This is loan # XXXX, XXXX. The new information we have is the company sent us a response letter and they are calling this loan a Conventional type loan. This is a ( DIY ) or Daily Simple Interest loan that we still owe XXXX on since XX/XX/XXXX. Well Fargo took over servicing this loan from a company that was found guilty in the sate of Ohio for these type of loans. During the transfer of the loan Wells Fargo bought all the fraudulent loans for XXXX but did NOTHING to make things right with our loan, e.g. change the terms to meet proper federal lending guide lines. We requested and received our account history back to XX/XX/XXXX and found Wells Fargo guilty of not reporting our on time payments that were being held as unapplied. Furthermore, none of the money was applied to our loan in the amount of XXXX. Lastly, on their recorded line I got them to omit they falsely had our account as late and charged XXXX per month. This has been fixed we think. We have dealt with and pleaded with over approximately XXXX to XXXX different representatives. Right now its XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX. Finally, we have requested all HUD-1 's and appraisals since early XX/XX/XXXX and still have not received them. We get 2 letters per month saying that we need more time to research and find the information. Please do something with this Fraudulent company who just had their CEO step down. XXXX!

Complaint: After years of unemployment and using my life savings to stay current on home mortgage payment s Wells Fargo sold my home to an investor named XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX after a year of not making payments. I had applied to get government help that they said was available but was quickly denied and it was just a false hope. I was order by a county judge to leave a home I lived in from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX . I am now homeless and have lots of debt. I do not drink alcohol, use illegal drugs, or smoke and never have. I suffer from XXXX XXXX which I can not afford to have diagnosed and have been separated from my wife and son since XX/XX/XXXX . I can tell that my family blames me and they offer little to no support yet they expect me to help them. I was once an adequately paid contributing member of society and was able to sustain myself and family but now I have been marginalized by society. Why did the banks get millions from taxpayers yet we the people got nothing but a help program called XXXX t hat is worthless as far as I am concerned. I saved for over 10 years to buy my own home. I put a 20 % down payment from over a decade of saving and that was my life 's dream/goal to own a home. These bank CEOs make millions and some have multiple homes yet I am on the streets and something just does not seem right about banks destroying the economy with bad mortgage lending yet they get rewarded while I loose everything I worked for so they can have a lavish lifestyle. In mid to late XX/XX/XXXX an attorney named XXXX XXXX called said he had proceeds from the sell of my home of about 14 grand but I had to sign a letter not to sue the bank to get the money. I needed the money so I had no choice but t o sign the letter to pay for immediate stay at inns and lodge XXXX since I am homeless. I drive by my former 3 bedroom/2 bath brick ranch home on occasion and it is now recently occupied after having been updated and put back on the market since I was ordered to leave. I believe it sold for XXXX XXXX . I kept hoping that eventually someone would come to their senses and give it back but that never happened.

Complaint: In XX/XX/2013 my wife and I went to the local Wells Fargo bank to open a checking account after moving back into the area.After going thru the registration process with the checking acc., the young lady representing the bank mentioned their crediet card set up and its benefits, one of which was overdraft protection and a 0 % promotion rate. We agreed to add that on mainly for the overdraft protection. As i mentioned we had moved back to the area after purchasing my parents home. this was done 3 months prior to the Wells Fargo bank visit.It should be noted that we purchased the home with a 15 yr. fixed mortgage at 2.62 %. My wife handles all the bill paying online. About 5 months after initial checking sign up, my wife developed health issues ( on XXXX now ) and our focus was somewhat divided. It was not till the following XXXX that I opened a billing from Wells Fargo and noticed that we were being charged 26 % interest on our credit card. My credit score during this time span has been in the XXXX-XXXX range.Over the last cpl. yrs I have contacted numerous departments, talked to different levels of employee ranks and have never been able to get a clear or definitive answer as to why a rate that high was applied to our account.I have asked what criteria was used to determine rate, again no clear cut responce. I also have another credit card ( XXXX XXXX ) with a rate half the Wells Fargo rate.After reading all the articles over the last 6-9 months regarding Wells Fargo banks practices I decided to file this complaint to hopefully get some action on this matter. Complaint: I noticed a while a go on my wellsfargo.com account that my XXXX Rewards are " unavailable ''. I finally decided to give them a call to figure out why that is. When I called I was told that my XXXX Rewards were connected to a wrong account ( not my credit card ) and that they 'll look over my history and give me all of the points that I should 've have acquired over the years but did n't because of their mistake. I was told that a manager will look at my case and give me a call. Sure enough I received a generic phone call from the XXXX Rewards people on XX/XX/XXXX the message left told me it was in regards to my claim and that I should call back. When I called back the phone operator told me that my claim is resolved and that I should see my statement reflect that when my billing cycle restarts. When it restarted I only had about XXXX XXXX Rewards. The amount of rewards that I acquired in the month of XX/XX/XXXX. I called Wells Fargo Rewards again to see what is going on. I was told that I opened my XXXX Rewards on XX/XX/XXXX, the date I initially called to figure out why my points have been " unavailable '' for as long as I have had the card which I got in XX/XX/2006 ( says it right on the card ). I tried to explain to the person on the phone what is going on that they made a mistake ... after some back and forth and sitting on hold for 15 min I asked them to make sure they did n't open another credit card in my name without my approval ( WF has a history of doing that ). I was told that there is only that XXXX credit card in my name and that there is too much history to look through for the person that was on the phone with me after which she gave me a fax number ( XXXX ) and a XXXX NC that I should contact. When I asked for a phone number I was hung up on.
