Complaint: XXXX XXXX 2016 I called card servic es and asked that my annual rewards program renewal fee not be dedected from my account as I did not want to pay the fee at that time. My intention was to start the rewards program back up at a later time. What happened is that they changed the product type of my credit card from a rewards card to a platinum card. I did not understand and was not aware of this change. I did not consent to this change. My sole intent, which I made very clear, was to not be charged the annual program fee at that time. As soon as I realized the mistake I called wells fargo and asked them to fix the mistake . Wells fa rgo now states that I am ineligable to switch the products type back to what I had.

Loan modification,collection,foreclosure

Mortgage: Conventional adjustable mortgage (ARM)

Complaint: I 'm filing a complaint against my mortgage servicer Wells Fargo Bank ( WFB ), due to negligence and engaging in an approval of a predatory loan modification offer on XXXX XXXX , XXXX . The terms of this modification were not in line with the terms of the making homes affordable ( MHA ) and ( HAMP ) guidelines at the time that it was approved. At the time my loan was approved WFB, ignored their fiduciary duties in which they were bound to by way of the terms of the mortgage bailout. The Treasury Department had invested XXXX XXXX hundreds of banks through its Capital Purchase Program in an effort to prop up capital and support new lending. This bailout was approved by the Obama administration shortly after he took office in XXXX . WFB, did not follow the industry standards when loss mitigating loans that were originated by failed mortgage entities such as XXXX XXXX Bank. XXXX XXXX Bank placed me into a 4 p ayment option arm loan illegally after a bait and switch refinance. XXXX XXXX loans are to be modified with what 's known as a stair step modification. Due to the negative amortization feature of these loans where monies are added to your balance through a duration of abou t five ye ars, after the five years the loan payments balloon to 3 a nd 4 times the amount of the original payments and the homeowner suffers payment shock. At the time my loan was modified in XXXX by WFB, my loan was not placed into a stair step program based on the negative amortization feature of the original loan. Th e 4 payment option arm loan greatly increased my original loan balance and placed me in grave loan to value by the tim e WFB, m odified the loan. Knowingly, WFB, overlooked my loan for the stair step program and ignored using the payment calculations of 31 % of my gross income at the time the loan was approved, there for further damaging my efforts to retain my home. They started my rate at 4.7 %, which was XXXX points higher than the national average at the time, and the rate increased to its original rate of 5.875 %. Based on my income at the time the loan was approved the payments were egregiously out of line with my qualifying income and WFB, threatened to foreclose if I did not sign the agreement at the time. Further causing me unnecessary stress and damage to my credit reports and overall financial well-being. Furthermore this illegal modification that was given to me was never executed and countersigned by a loan agent or officer of a WFB, executive, n or was this modification ever recorded with my county lan d records in XXXX This failed obligation of WFB, also negates and invalidates the entire agreement and all payments made toward this offer must be returned to me as they were part of WFB, misrepresentation and were collected under false pretense on behalf of WFB. Furthermore, I never received a copy of an executed final offer which reflected an amortization schedule per RESPA and TILA, which also invalidates the modification because the interest is not clearly outlined in the final terms. Nor was I given an escrow ledger after the final modification was calculated and allegedly made " Whole ''. In f act this predatory loan modification forced me onto financial despair and I was forced into chapter XXXX bankruptcy. In fact, WFB and other mortgage lenders were sued by the Federal government for fraud, misrepresentation, dual tracking and illegal foreclosures as well as purposely forcing California homeowners in particular into inevitable foreclosure.

Complaint: In XXXX XXXX , due to the advertising from XXXX 's XXXX XXXX , we purchased a few items of new Furniture from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , located in XXXX , AZ. We were solicited by the store sales staff to sign-up for their " Interest-free Payment Plan ''. If it was not for this Interest-free Solicited Offer, we wold not have agreed to purchase this furniture from XXXX 's XXXX XXXX ( a nd would have purchased elsewhere ). It was only AFTER we purchased this furniture from the retail store that we were notified we had just signed-up for a Credit Account from Wells Fargo Banking. Over the course of the subsequent 8 months, we made our designated, required payments on this account, and in fact often paid double the minimum payment amount required on this Credit Card. In XXXX of XXXX we were outraged and shocked to discover that Wells Fargo Credit Card company - on behalf of XXXX 's XXXX XXXX - and on a remaining outstanding Credit Balance of only {$1200.00} dollars ( with a minimum payment due of only {$70.00} ) the Credit Card company had charged us {$380.00} as an INTEREST CHARGE! See attached PDF copy of Statement from Wells Fargo Ba nk Credit Card and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . We contacted the Wells Fargo Credit Card company and complained about what we believed must have been some kind of calculation error in their billing, and were told an agent supervisor would get back to us ; but no one ever contacted us! Subsequently, even though we continued to make regular monthly payments on this Credit Card balance, often with payments double the minimum amount required, the Wells Fargo Credit Card company and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has continued to charge us further, additional " Fees '' and " Interest '' charges every month, of at least {$63.00} dollars and as much as {$72.00} dollars each month over & above the {$380.00} they 've already charged us in " Interest '' on what was only a {$1200.00} balance ( before their ludicrous, outrageous additional Interest Charges ). They have unfairly charged us the following amounts : {$380.00} Interest Charge in XXXX XXXX {$72.00} Interest and Other Fees in XXXX XXXX {$31.00} Interest Charge in XXXX XXXX {$63.00} Interest Charge and Other Fees XXXX XXXX To date, Total of {$550.00} in Interest Fees and Other Fees ( on a {$1200.00} balance ) in just the past 4 months!! The Fair Credit Act is supposed to protect Consumers like us from unethical, unscrupulous criminal " gouging '' conduct like this by greedy banks and shady lending companies such as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . These ridiculously-high Interest Charges and " fees '' should be immediately removed from our Billing, and, this Wells Fargo National Financial Bank Credit Card company should be heavily fined by the FTC for violating consumer trust, as they have done here. This unethical " gouging '' of faithful consumers by Wells Fargo Cre dit Card companies and their XXXX XXXX partner-in-crime should be stopped and prevented from ever being perpetrated on other good-faith consumers in the future!

Complaint: After paying off my mortgage, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage issued an escrow refund check in my name but sent it to the wrong address. I presented this problem in person to a banker at a Wells Fargo branch. It was suggested that I had something to do with the wrong address. It was suggested that I forgot that I used to live at this wrong address. Blaming the customer first is not acceptable. Wells wanted to know if I received the check. No I have not. I am only aware of the wrong address on the check because a PDF version of the check is available online. Astoundingly, the first question I was asked by Wells : Do I have a banking relationship with Wells Fargo? Yes, but maybe not for long.

Complaint: To whom it may concern, Two weeks ago I was a fraud victim. An imaginary FBI agent ( XXXX XXXX ) c alled me and she demanded {$8000.00} for student taxes that I had not paid the last 4 years. Unfortunately, I believe on her as she revealed all my debit and credit bank account limits ( " Sir, I see that according to your debit and credit limits, you have XXXX XXXX So you can pay us today if you do n't want to be arrested '' ). I was in contact with her for 8 hours on the phone as I was instructed to buy gift cards from XXXX store to pay the IRS attorney that was handling my case. The " Scam FBI '' officer terrified me by pressuring to not say anything to anyone and also if I hang up the phone he will be able to put charged on me. Under such pressure, I used three different cards in order to buy 16 gift cards of {$500.00} each ( {$8000.00} total amount ) {$1500.00} -- & gt ; Wells Fargo {$2500.00} -- & gt ; XXXX XXXX {$4000.00} -- & gt ; Chase When my wife came home ( XXXX pm ), she realized that this was a fraud, and she called for a police officer to talked with the " Scam FBI '' agent ( I was in phone hold ). When the police officer came home and talked with the " Scam FBI '' agent, she changed her voice tone and hanged up the phone. The police officer directly filled a police report for me with a case number " XXXX '' and he told me that a detective will be able to contact the XXXX store in order to track the gift cards. The detective 's information is " XXXX , XXXX XXXX & XXXX ; XXXX XXXX XXXX & gt ; '' and he told me to call my banks in order to report my case number and to inform them that I was a fraud victim. XXXX week later, the XXXX and XXXX banks directly removed my transactions from my credit accounts. Unfortunately, the Wells Fargo , after their research, found that the transactions ( 3 gift cards, 3 x {$500.00} = {$1500.00} ) were correctly charged to my account. So, they did not reimburse me.
