Complaint: My wife a nd I purchased a new vehicle. We went through Wells Fargo for our loan. Less then a month later, we refinanced with our credit union. Wells Fargo signed off on title and sent a letter releasing the lean. After a month went by, we received a bill from Wells Fargo that we owed them money. I contacted Wells Fargo and tried to resolve the issue. I informed them that we received letter of release and that Wells Fargo was not on title anymore. They said that we still owed them money and it needs to be payed. I stated that my credit union payed off vehicle and they where new lean holders. I informed them I was not paying. I asked for a manager and she was completely RUDE! They reported to all credit bureaus that i was late on payments a nd this dropped my credit over XXXX points. They also sent us to a internal collections. I 'm still trying to resolve issue at this time. I have submitted disputes with credit bureaus. this is a very long and stressful process! I am absolutely apald hoe they can destroy my credit so easily and not care that we have evidence to back our self up.

Then they paid out a {$2500.00} fee to disputed account and after many attempts to refund my scammed money the bank refused to issue credit but instead charged me the money and used my secured money. It 's now being reported to the credit companies as a negative account for - {$2500.00}. This is fraud and they need to be investigated.

Complaint: Wells Fargo Bank employees or employers took {$96000.00} from my bank account on the same day I made a withdrawal at the bank. I have proof of this fraudulent activity. This had to be an inside job stealing from customers. The signature of the withdrawal slip does not match my handwriting. I noticed the deduction of {$96000.00} from my account when I checked my balance. I contacted the bank. Filed a report with the bank about the missing money. But as of today, I have not recieved my money. An unauthorized transaction was made on my account and the bank did nothing about it.

I want to know how to qualify to get money back, There have been XXXX Civil Suits about both banks. There are several mistakes about the banks statements XXXX about wells fargo is they charge me several nsf fees after they stole the money if you look at the statement they stole the XXXX then charge me XXXX of bank charges .then they stole from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2011 and when i went to bank and got money on XX/XX/2011 that is not on there the the have the balance incorrect on XXXX balance is XXXX then on XX/XX/2011 balance is XXXX which is incorrect they have it backwards. There was just a class action law suit file on wells fargo and i should have been XXXX of the people to qualify top get money back. why dont people look in the data base to see how many people have had claims file against these banks to stop this from happening there is someone who also got credit cards in my name and a house mortgage on my credit report.

Representatives from XXXX XXXX have maintained that it operates merely as the Trustee for the owner / investor of my home loan. The records since inception have shown that XXXX XXXX is the Trustee for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . Ironically, shown below is the message that XXXX XXXX has sent to the CFPB, dated XXXX XXXX , XXXX : " According to the records, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) is the trustee for the Trust, and the current owner of your loan. The Trust is a separate entity, and XXXX XXXX maintains no involvement in the operations of the Trust, including maintenance of original documents associated with your mortgage loan. '' Coincidentally, one day earlier, XXXX XXXX , Assistant Vice President of XXXX XXXX provided a letter to the CFPB, dated XXXX XXXX , XXXX that states the following : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has no beneficial ownership interest in the mortgage loans included in the Trust, i.e., XXXX is not an investor in the loans. Instead XXXX merely holds legal title to the loans for the benefit of the Trust 's Certificate holders. '' However, the language used in the above statement from XXXX XXXX and other correspondence reiterate its position on the ownership interest of the loan or certificates, and its recollection appears to be a sale of securities that it formerly owned to XXXX XXXX XXXX maintains no involvement in the ownership of the Trust, as it should n't per the rules of maintaining an arms-length relationship among servicers and investors. Both banks appear to have some questionable connection to Wells Fargo as it relates to this transaction. All three entities have been recently sued for billions of dollar for similar activities. Please have multiple agencies review the merits of my clai m, as Wells Fargo us es loopholes in the CFPB process to avoid providing a truthful response.

Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX , I went to the XXXX , Pennsylvania branch o f Wells Fargo B ank to address a concern about my ex-wife 's name still being on an account used to pay my mortgage each month. At that time, branch manager suggested I open a new checking account, in my name only, as a solution to this problem. The next day I returned to actually open that new checking account, and the manager then offered me a credit card account as well. When I asked some questions and found out there would be fees attached to these accounts, I declined to open either a new checking account or a credit card account, and left without opening any accounts. On XXXX XXXX , XXXX , I received a phone call from a debt collector saying I owed money on a personal credit card account I had with Wells Fargo. I responded that I did n't have any such account, but right after the phone call, I went to the XXXX , Pennsylvania branch of Wells Fargo to find out what was going on, and whether this might relate to my business account wit h Wells Fargo. The bank assured me that the debt did not relate to my business account, but instead related to a personal credit card they insisted I had opened. Even though I never received a personal credit card from Wells Fargo, n ever received any statements and never made any charges, Wells Fargo ul timately informed me that I had {$28.00} in unpaid annual fees. This is after my wife had put a bid in on a house, and after that bid was accepted, I also learned that Wells Fargo r eported this supposed delinquency to the major credit reporting agencies, which dropped my credit score f rom roughly XXXX to roughly XXXX . As a result of this huge dro p in credit score, we lo st financing for the house, and lost the opportunity to reduce our monthly home ownership costs ( including mortgage, taxes and HO insurance ) from {$3800.00} per month to {$1700.00} per month. For the foreseeable future, I am losing {$2100.00} per month as a result of Wells Fargo 's conduct in opening a credit card account in my name and charging me fees without ever even letting me know they had opened a credit account in my name. Wells Fargo has opened a case number for my complaint, and it has submitted requests to XXXX , XXXX XXXX , XXXX and XXXX to remove this alleged credit card delinquency from my name. But the damage is done, and Wells Fargo has not offered any significant compensation for the damage they have caused me.

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX ,2017 I mad e a mobile dep osit to my Wells Fargo ch ecking account.They did not credit my account for the amount of the deposit, when i called them to inquire they said there was a hold on the deposit, that the bank the check was drawn on claimed a fraud. that i should call the issuer, when i did so i was told there was no caim of fraud by them. The issuer is the state of california controler. when i called wells fargo back they changed their sory and told me the check hasnt been paid for, so i called the california treasurer that informed me the check had been paid and the funds should be available. when i called back to wells fargo they told me the federal reserve was holding the money, when i called the federal reserve they said they dont hold any monies and that i should file a complaint. i feel wells fargo is just holding this check to collect over draft fees. i deposit XXXX of these checks from the state of california every month. i have to wait two weeks to recieve this payroll check. which i recieved the XXXX of XXXX and wells fargo is not going to release the funds until the XXXX of XXXX . everytime i have called wells fargo they have given me a different reason. the check number is XXXX the amount is {$910.00}. the issuer of that check is the state of california controller and can be reached at XXXX XXXX the state treasurer can be reached @ XXXX XXXX . They told me the check was paid XXXX XXXX . Wells Fargo has refused to contact the state controller or the state treasurer. I would appreciate you looking into this matter. There has been no fraud reported by XXXX , the state controller or the state treasurer. since it was a mobile deposit i did not keep the check since ive never had this problem before in the past. Complaint: This complaint is regarding a dispute with Wells Fargo Platinum Credit Card. I was making regular payments until XXXX 2017 when I fell behind but continued to make timely payments. On X/XX/17 I spoke to someone in collection and agreed to a payment plan ove r 2 dat es to bring the account current. I completed both payments on X/XX/17 and X/XX/17 to bring my account current. In the meantime, we sold our home on X/X/17 when we applied for a mortgage and learned tha t Wells Fargo reported me to the credit bureau on X/XX/17 for late payment. This is now preventing me to obtain a mortgage. My husband can not qualify to obtain the mortgage on his own and my income and therefore my credit is required. This XXXX late fee on X/XX/17 has devastated our lives, we have XXXX small children. I explained to them that the reason of the move is to relocate to access better public schools so that we would not have to continue the hardship of paying for private school. The latter is the reason why I fell behind for a brief period with this XXXX credit card. Wells Fargo m aintains their position that my payment was due on X/XX/17 and because the payment plan we set up was on XXXX and XXXX they had to report me to the credit bureau. I asked why they did not tell me this when they set up the payment plan and they replied that they do not have to, their job is just to collect money. I acted in good faith and trusted that the payment plan would fix everything. It did for Wells Fargo, I jus t never thought of X/XX/17 being the next due date since we set up the payment plan. I would have made a smaller payment to just avoid this late fee on X/XX/17 i f I was properly informed. I feel blindsided. Poor customer service and unethical behaviors are my concerns. I can not understand how they can set up payment plans but then report you to the credit bureau. The inability to obtain the mortgage is devastating and I am at a loss of how to fight for my rights to be treated as an overall good long standing customer should be treated. I expect my bank to look out for me and its customers in the community, what happened to me is not an example of ethical community collaboration between a bank and a long standing good customer. This situation is life devastating, we are talking about 7 days from X/XX/17 to X/XX/17 , less than 30 days late. I intend to take this dispute high up the chain. So far, the Wells Fargo Executive O ffices have not been cooperative and refusing to remove the report to the credit bureau. Our efforts to make better choices to reduce financial hardship has now caused a set up for additional financial hardship. We sold our home and are now unable to obtain a mortgage. Renting would set up back causing tax consequences. I intent to take legal action if this is not resolved favorably.
