Complaint: BACKGROUND : Late on the evening of XX/XX/2017, I saw two payments pending in online banking of my XXXX checking account, both of which were NOT MINE. These pending payments totaled {$12000.00} : One to XXXX for {$7500.00} ; and one to Wells Fargo in the amount of {$5300.00}. I initially planned on going to my branch the next morning, but then in the wee hours of XX/XX/2017, decided to call XXXX XXXX number to alert them. After talking to various departments, the third department told me that the Claims Dept. was closed, and told me " you 'll have to call back tomorrow. '' When I called the next morning, the Claims Dept. told me the payments were already disbursed, and it was too late to stop them! I assumed XXXX would make good on these fraudulent payments, but their Claims Dept. rejected my claim, saying that my phone had been used to make the payments. My XXXX banker intervened for me, to no avail. So I complained to the Better Business Bureau. I was then contacted by XXXX from XXXX Executive Office, who told me he would investigate my claim. XXXX concluded that XXXX position of denying my claim was unchanged, but as a courtesy, they requested XXXX to reverse the online payment to them, which they did, and I recovered that {$7500.00} payment. XXXX said they were not given the option to reverse the payment to Wells Fargo for {$5300.00}, and suggested I pursue that matter on my own. So he provided me with the WELLS FARGO A/C NO. XXXX, so that I could pursue the {$5300.00} fraudulent payment that went into that account from my XXXX account. WELLS FARGO EVENTS : Wells Fargo has not helped me, and concluded that they have done all they 're going to do, and told me that I 'd have to pursue the matter with XXXX. A Wells Fargo representative named " XXXX '' ( who works with or under XXXX in their Executive Services Dept. did provide me with a Wells Fargo email address that only law enforcement ( i.e. the XXXX ( Fla. ) Police Dept. ) to correspond with. At any rate, I am still at a loss of {$5300.00}.

Complaint: I have a checking account with Wells Fargo Bank and my bank account was assessed by the NC Dept of Revenue for XX/XX/2014 taxes. I worked out a payment plan with the NC Dept of Revenue for $ XXXX/month and I was waiting for the remainder of my money to be credited back to my account to find out Wells Fargo charges a {$120.00} fee when your account has a lien or hold placed against it. This is grossly unfair because all I had in the account was {$120.00} and now my account is - {$4.00} in the negative. I 'm between jobs and struggling financially and have asked can they credit it back to my account and they 're telling me it 's their policy. This is a grossly unfair policy.

Complaint: I have a HUD reverse mortgage. I have a negative balance of {$4900.00} to which I am paying {$89.00} per month. I am current in my payments. I had a fire to my home. The insurance has paid {$200000.00} which was submitted to Wells Fargo in XXXX. Wells Fargo is holding {$190000.00} and has released {$10000.00} on the condition that they will not release any further funds until the home is 50 % repaired. It is impossible for me to repair {$100000.00} worth of damage with {$10000.00}. Wells Fargo is stating this is HUD 's policy. Therefore I am unable to repair my home and Wells Fargo has not provided any solution while holding {$190000.00}. I have complied with every request from Wells Fargo and was advised that they were releasing {$49000.00}. It has been almost 4 months and I still can not begin repairs to my home because Wells Fargo is holding the funds.

Complaint: Due to a nasty marriage annulment, I was forced to pay vast sums ( later reduced ) to ex for support and her attorneys. That situation caused me to fall behind on my mortgage and necessitated filing chapter XXXX bankruptcy. The trustee for the bankruptcy ordered me to pay the minimum amount on the " pic a pay '' mortgage resulting in negative amortization. I made all of the court ordered payments to the trustee for arrears ( my only required repay was to Wells Fargo who owned the mortgage as a result of buying the bank that had financed the house ) and the regular monthly mortgage payment to Wells Fargo. During the sixty month term of the chapter XXXX, Wells Fargo would not allow online payment or automatic deduction. I was forced to call every month to make the mortgage payment for a fifteen to thirty minute call including hold time, monthly redundant questions regarding contact info, etc.. Upon completing and exiting chapter XXXX, it took several months for Wells Fargo to rectify their books and they still required the monthly phone payment. When i called to make the XX/XX/XXXX payment, I was informed that I was six payments in arrears on the mortgage and they would not accept my payment. I called again and spent a great amount of time with a representative that said I was nine payments behind and foreclosure proceedings had begun on my house. I asked for an accounting of what payments were missed and was informed that the Wells Fargo rep did not have access to that info and it would take thirty days to get it. They had already filed a notice of default and I began to be deluged with calls, letters and emails from lawyers, people wanting to buy my home and services to halt foreclosure. I went to both credit unions that I made the phone call payments from and received printouts of the payments to Wells Fargo in less than an hour ( including travel and wait times ). So, there is no reason Wells Fargo can not click the mouse and get an accounting to me in less than thirty days. Perhaps, they are seeking revenge for the junior lien ( second mortgage ) being stripped upon my chapter XXXX exit. If I am behind in any payments, I have never been notified. If I am behind, it would be due to them not processing the phone payment not me being remiss in calling and wasting valuable time with their reps monthly. Under the chapter XXXX that alleviated the spouse attorney payment and support reduction I have ALWAYS been able to make the payments. If I am behind, I have the means to bring the loan current. Wells Fargo has n't provided any accounting and is intent and focused on repossessing/stealing the home that I have paid for, lived in and bled for since XX/XX/XXXX. Wells Fargo is on record and convicted of many illegal, immoral acts. This is their pattern. They are attempting to steal my family 's home. They are criminals. They wo n't give me an accounting for thirty days as they proceed with foreclosure.

Complaint: Good Morning, Back in XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for a loan Modification through American Servicing Company whom was a 3rd party to Wells Fargo and was approved, However in XX/XX/XXXX I sustained a life changing injury and while dealing with this situation it appears as though WELLS FARGO submitted a debt of cancellation to the IRS, in the amount of XXXX as this appears to be income on my end. Well due to various things going on in my life, I finally contacted Wells Fargo around XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with a Customer Service Manager name XXXX /XXXX in their California XXXXXXXXXXXX in regarding this situation. .I explained that this matter needs some kind of correspondence no later than XXXX XXXX, then the called my number on XXXX XXXX but did not leave a message, So when I returned their call the XXXX XXXX ext XXXX that they assigned this issue to was not available as a matter of fact I still have not spoken to the representative assign to this issue or his manager. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and not only have I not received any correspondence from anyone @ WELLS FARGO, But when calling XXXX and I spoke with another representative, whom attempted to tell me that XXXX XXXX had called my number on XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX but chose not to leave a message stating that there was no voicemail on my number. Which I knew was an incorrect statement. And to add more salt to the injury, When I called XXXX they could not even locate my previous loan # in their system anymore. I am very upset about this situation due because I really feel that Wells Fargo is doing this deliberately to make my life hard.I say this because back in XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a XXXX XXXX and in the middle of my loan some how Wells Fargo was able to purchase my loan just as they did my mortgage and it was a totally nightmare. After paying them double the amount that I initially purchase the vehicle for they attempted to tell me that I still owed them an additional {$5000.00} and when I declined to give them anymore money then they refused to provide me my pink slip after collecting double the amount of the vehicle. And now they want to report an illegal amount to the IRS for a loan modification and I really feel that this is retaliation because they were not able to extort any additional funds from me in reference to the vehicle that I purchased back in XX/XX/XXXX. I want this major issue resolved through the IRS as well I am requesting assistance with obtaining my title as well for the vehicle that I purchase back in XX/XX/XXXX because I have nothing but problems with WELLS FARGO for EVERY TIME they placed their name on any loan that I have obtained. Complaint: On XX/XX/2017 I requested Wells Fargo Bank to pay my Water/Sewer Bill to " XXXX '' using their 'Bill Pay Service ' from my checking account. The XXXX payments sent on XX/XX/2017 [ {$30.00} and {$170.00} ] went to the wrong XXXX address. The payments were not credited my account with/by XXXX. XXXX required me to send payment again and I did. I filled a complaint with Wells Fargo and they refused to cancel the payment. They replied " our research has confirmed that this payment with no error on our part. '' I believe they had a duty to determine the depositor of these XXXX checks was the Payee Specified [ XXXX ]. They claim they have no way to retrieve the monies intended for XXXX [ specified payee ].

Complaint: I have had a 10+ year realationship with WELLS FARGO. I also in the past have taken out Unsecured Personal Loans and had no issue with approval. Actually, the last time I applied I was approved in under 20 minutes. This time however, I put my roommate on the loan who has bad credit. I was told that the leading applicant who makes the most money ( me ) would be the primary on the loan and that there should be no problem in applying. They declined my loan because my co applicant has bad credit. HOWEVER, I was told that he should not have an effect on this loan other than being able to build credit by being a co applicant. My issue is this- How the XXXX can I apply for a loan and no one calls me to follow up and tell me WHY I got declined. Provide me with NO NUMBER to call in and find out more information. No link to see reasons of a decline. Nothing but a pointless hit on my credit and my co applicants, who clearly has bad credit so why not hurt it more by applying. Wells Fargo is nothing but a bunch of rich XXXX who give XXXX wages to their emplyoees and rip people off. How is a RELATIONSHIP lender not going to loan me money at the MINIMUM amount when I have over 9k+ in savings and a credit score over XXXX. They need to be fined for more than chump change. They need to change their processes. If you really are the CFPB DO something rather than give a tiny fine and then take the money to your own pockets. Feel free to look up my loan Unsecured : XXXX - 36 MONTHS 8.747 % - {$95.00} a month XXXX XXXX one of the managers of lending needs to be fired.

I reported this to A lot of agencies but noticed {$340.00} negative balance to my account. I called WELLS FARGO TO MAKE THEM AWARE I DID NOT MAKING THIS TRANSACTIONS. I asked them to put my account back to good standing. As I do NOT owe my bank. I received many letters dated XX/XX/2017 via mail from wells fargo claims department regarding a STOP PAYMENT has been placed..but no resolution to my concern that my routing and account number has been compromised by a identity thief. Complaint: Insurance claim proceeds being held by Wells Fargo the mortgage company. We received the initial payment from the insurance company on XX/XX/2017. We then sent the check to Wells Fargo for it was to be a monitored insurance claim & repairs. Normal procedure would be that within a week or so they would send us one third to get the repairs started. This is where everything went crazy, they did n't want us to manage or self contract the claim and said it would require an exemption, so they put in for the exemption. The first exemption was denied, after exhausting conversation a resubmission of the exemption request was honored and sent in. Then it was denied again as there was confusion within the bank and people submitting without all the information provided. Upon the results of the third submission, on XX/XX/2017, it was told to us it would be approved if we had a inspection from the bank and based on the percentage of completed work, would the first check, from Wells Fargo be issued. At this point they wanted work to be completed without releasing any money from our claim proceeds they were holding. ( Is it me or does this make any sense what so ever ) At this point we requested the inspection, which we had done on XXXX, the inspector for the bank netted a 50 % completion of the work had already been done. On XX/XX/2017 Wells Fargo advised us they received the inspection results at 50 % and would be initiating a draw for {$40000.00} Dollars. This check was expedited and would arrive on Thursday the XXXX or Friday the XXXX. In receiving this on Friday the XXXX, we open the Fed Ex envelope and to our surprise there was no check, and more paper work to sign before the check would be issued. I called the bank and they told me the check request was canceled on XX/XX/2017 because someone realized that two forms had n't been signed or sent to us. So, they sent the forms in the Fed Ex envelope and did n't even call us to advise of the changes. These forms could have been faxed to us that same day and handled by us the same day, we lost another week in processing. Upon faxing the executed documents the same day on Friday, we confirmed Wells Fargo receipt of them and they were now ordering a new disbursement to us. Now after they took 2 days to process the forms, on XX/XX/2017 we are told by the Wells Fargo Representative the she has initiated the new check and would send it express mail overnight, Federal Express, and the check amount is {$58000.00}, which we would received by Thursday. Now, on Wednesday I call to confirm the check had been sent and obtained a tracking number, XXXX of Wells Fargo confirms the package but makes a mention of the amount of the check being {$25000.00}, I said why is it less? The reasons I obtained were insane. Her justification for the handling of this claim was based on the New Regulations of the CFPB and they are deterring people from self contracting the repairs from an insurance claim. I said to her in an industry that definitely need to have new regulations on Banks handling or mis-handling of insurance claim funds, you are telling me they made new regulations and they made it worse?? She said yes. I have requested from her in a fax today XX/XX/2017 that she identify specifically what regulations of the CFPB is she referring to. I have not received a response yet. We ask that the CFPB intervene and investigate Wells Fargo Bank for the mishandling of our claim proceeds.
