Transaction was not authorized
Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX 2016, two ( 2 ) unauthorised transactions for XXXX XXXX XXXX appeared on my Wells Fargo Monthly Statements. I disputed them at the XXXX, FL, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX County, FDIC Cert : XXXX. I was given a provisional credit on my XX/XX/XXXX 2016 for only {$39.00} ( not the {$6.00} transaction ) and a letter sent stating a provisional credit had been made. No mention on of the $ 6.+ unauthrorised " swipe to pay '' app transaction -- -which my phone is n't capable of doing -- was ever made. The provisional credit was shown on the XX/XX/XXXX 2016 as provisional credit. Meanwhile, XXXX XXXX XXXX continued to accrue interest and add applicaple " payments ''. ( see attached for all three documents ) By XX/XX/XXXX 's Wells Fargo statment 2016, there was no mention of anything being made permanent, Wells Fargo was in a heap of trouble globablly and I was locked out of my online account and XXXX branch said they could do nothing. I stopped my direct deposit and left enough in the account to avoid banking fees. ( see attached ) XX/XX/XXXX 2016, I deposited {$4500.00} and spoke with Services Manager, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who unlocked my online account ( short term and I noticed numerous errors in physical address, phone and account numbersbut that is another issue ), escalated the {$39.00} provisional credit and inquired as to why the {$6.00} never had been file as fraud. Another escalated ticket was issued. ( see attached ) The XXXX XXXX XXXX account as of XX/XX/XXXX 2016 was {$1000.00}. ( see attached ) Nothing has been done by Wells Fargo. No supporting documents substantiating why they refututed the swipe to pay app as unautorized, no finalised credit for the {$39.00} and {$6.00} made at the same time. XXXX XXXX XXXX has submitted it to XXXX XXXX XXXX and it is on my credit report as adverse credit reflection. ( See attached )

Fee problem
Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX re : Wells Fargo Merchant Busn CHECKING I believe I have been a victim of a predatory practice by Wells Fargo Bank. My branch is in XXXX XXXX, NJ. I had 6 accts with this bank. I am focusing on a business account with linked checking and savings accounts. When I opened this account, I was told the checking account required a minimum balance of {$1500.00} to avoid monthly charges. After 3 months I complained that I had received {$14.00} per month bank charges for 2 months [ XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ] and was given the explanation that my account actually required a {$7500.00} minimum balance. The 2 months of charges were reversed with an agreement to change the account to one requiring a {$500.00} minimum balance.
However, despite reversing the two $ XXXX/month bank charges on XX/XX/XXXX, the bank deducted an additional $ XXXX/month bank charge only 8 days later. The bank continued deducting $ XXXX/month bank charge for the 6 additional months, for total of 7 months charges of {$98.00} - which have not been reversed. When I called my bank officer, I was told I had to come into the bank to make the change to the one requiring a {$500.00} minimum balance something I had assumed had already been done by telephone.
With this explanation, I did come into the bank and was told the Wells Fargo computer program would only allow 3 of the 7 months ' charges reversed. [ Limiting the bank charge reversal to 3 months is entirely arbitrary by Wells Fargo. ] Furthermore, I have not had even the promised 3 of 7 months ' charges reversed. I have closed 2 other linked accounts and expect to close all of my accounts with this bank.
I am taking my branch manager at her word. She assures me that her bank officer did tell me that I had to come in to the bank to change the account to one requiring a {$500.00} minimum balance. although I do not recall the information that I was to come into the bank to make the change - which she said I was initially given this instruction in XX/XX/XXXX. I view both the branch manager and the bank officer as sincere although I do not recall this instruction in XX/XX/XXXX.
However, my complaint is with Wells Fargos corporate culture. My branch manager explained that the banks program does not allow her go back to refund the 7 months charges of {$98.00}. Although I take her at her word, I find this unacceptable. Surely, Wells Fargo would be able to go back several months if a customer owed the bank money. So why does Wells Fargos program deny the customer an analogous cure. I am, therefore, filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau about Wells Fargos predatory practice not a complaint about my local branch but a complaint with the Wells Fargo corporation

Problem using a debit or ATM card
Complaint: Good evening, I 'm making a class complaint i n behalf of many who have shared similar issues with Wells Fargo. I will provide a routine scenario : Customer has XXXX in their checking account. Customer attempts to purchase with their debit card a XXXX dollar item and the transaction is declined. Customer calls the bank and inquires. Banker at Wells Fargo states that their daily limit is XXXX dollars. Customer request a temporary increase. Banker attempts but comes back with an answer " Sorry sir, the computer will not allow me '' customer effectively can not access his money from his account. There are many people in this class that Wells Fargo has barred access from using their debit card even after full verification to make purchase. The debit card is the new electronic check but with restrictions that preclude good people from accessiing their accounts. Please investigate this issue.

Company closed your account
Complaint: Wells Fargo closed a business partnership account without calling me and I had emailed, called and went to the XXXX CA location requesting to close this account and they told me no. Then after I filed 2 police reports that the business partner had stolen from me they continued to allow withdrawals and even allowed the business owner to close the account when the denied me the opportunity. The other business owner was obviously made to send me 1/2 of what little bit was left in the account via a cashiers check. I have yet to cash it because I am not excepting this by no means. I feel like Wells Fargo is fully responsible and they should not only refund me the 1/2 of the cashiers check, but the months of debits made by my business partner because I had reported it to them and they did not allow but allowed her to close it for whatever reason. I have went in and called to complain with numerous emails and not one person has reached back to me with a response.

Complaint: My FHA mortgage loan is currently serviced by Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo claims that the total amount past due is {$40000.00} ( see attached ). The alleged claim is for 51 payments. The original amount financed was {$92000.00} at 4.25 %. Since the current P & I payment is {$450.00}, the amount of interest due per month would average around {$300.00} per month. Therefore the total amount of interest past due should be {$15000.00}. Since the escrow amount is roughly {$150.00} per month, the total past due escrow would equal {$7600.00}. Therefore the total amount due should equal {$22000.00}. Wells Fargo is clearly trying to over collect on the amount due, so they can push the bill to the FHA for payment. I have also applied for a loan modification on numerous occasions and Wells Fargo has refused to submit the modification requests for underwriting to the FHA. Since the FHA is the investor and insures the loan, they would be issuing a partial claim to help fund the loan modification. Since the FHA is unaware of the partial claim, they were clearly in the dark on the loan modification process. Wells Fargo is in clear violation of the False Claims Act ( FCA ), 31 USC 3729 - 3733, since they knowingly withheld information and reported false records to a Federal Government Agency ( see attached ). Wells Fargo also has an obligation to process the loan modification with transparency and clarity per the National Mortgage Settlement of XXXX. Wells Fargo has refused to cooperate and has set a foreclosure sale date ofXX/XX/XXXX. Based on the violations listed herein, I am seeking your assistance on this matter.

Funds not handled or disbursed as instructed
Complaint: I was expecting 2 reimbursement checks to arrive from my employer, I contacted my employer on X/XX/17 because I had not received the checks in the mail. My employer advised me that the checks had been deposited in someones account, and my employer sent me an image of the fronts and backs of the checks, which showed a forgery of my name and the statement to deposit the funds to the account of XXXX XXXX and a signature indicating the name XXXX XXXX. I drove to XXXX XXXX XXXX to inquired since the checks were issued on a XXXX XXXX XXXX account. While at XXXX XXXX XXXX we discovered the checks indicated they were cashed at a Wells Fargo. I went to Wells Fargo and they told me they would not file a claim for the theft and would not be looking into the issue, they would not take any information on the issue eventhough I was offering them the images of both sides showing them the account number the checks were deposited to. So as the victim of theft and forgery I filed a police report and have provided the check images to the police department as Wells Fargo clearly will do nothing. XXXX XXXX XXXX branch, the XXXX XXXX XXXX Fraud Department, and the police department all indicated Wells Fargo is difficult to work with and that they do not respond in a timely fashion.
