Problem lowering your monthly payments
Complaint: This complaint is against Wells Fargo. Student loans came due, I was constantly harassed by phone calls requesting payment. I repeatedly asked for payments to be lowered, asked for detailed payment information which I never received. My parents submitted paperwork to have payments lowered and was never contacted back with an answer. I was hit with late fees for months. I still inquired about a detailed report to see interest accrued and never received.

Problem using a debit or ATM card
Complaint: Good afternoon I have been through so many of your Employees trying to correct the problem with my account. Debit Card # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . The transaction on XXXX / XXXX /2017 was not authorized. I called the Claims Department after receiving a Claim # XXXX . I explained to the Claim Personal that I wanted to stop payment on the transaction for the amount of {$34.00}. Your. Claim Department decide to do what they wanted. Any one may look at my account to see that I never had dealings with that company. According to what I was told when I ordered the Merchandise it was {$14.00} for shipping and Handling only and my card was going to be charged a one time fee of XXXX . When I checked my account I noticed I had been charged the amount of {$34.00} I telephoned the company regarding the transactions I was handled in Non Professional way. I requested the entire Transaction be CANCELLED, THE Customer Service person became angry and said she was not going to issues me my {$34.00} back. I did take the Liberty to record the Conversation regarding the Refund my money. The next day I noticed a Credit to my account for. {$19.00}. I called WELLS Fargo customer service representative to ask what was the {$19.00} about. She stated for the different of the {$34.00} . XXXX amount. I do n't asked for that. I asked for the entire amount of XXXX to be placed back into my account. Now I see today XXXX has Debit my account again for {$14.00} that I have not Authorized. Now I have paid these people a total of {$59.00} because your Employees wanted to be bill collectors. Today I asked XXXX in the Claims Department to put a Stop Payment on the {$14.00} and the XXXX . She refused to do so. Now, I f this is impossible for you to get done then, I will contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I thought I would give you a chance first to resolve this issue. My Remedy,. for my money to be refunded my money and make sure the XXXX XXXX do not debit my account again. I did the transaction in Good Faith, but it seems as though they are not TRUSTWORTHY,. I need not to have any more dealing with that company.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Re : Borrower : XXXX XXXX , DOB- XX/XX/XXXX , SSN # XXXX Property : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX , MA XXXX Lender : Wells Fargo Loan # XXXX To whom it may be concern : I, XXXX XXXX have been fighting for my mother rights with Wells Fargo . My mother XXXX XXXX primary residence at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX , MA XXXX , has been fighting with Wells Fargo regarding her loan. She had a hardship in XXXX , when she was forced to go into XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . During the time she was recuperating she spoke to Wells Fargo regarding her loan and they told her she didnt have to get an attorney to get a loan modification done because Wells Fargo will be able to work with her on her loan modification.
Since XXXX , we have submitted of a total of 11 loan modifications to Wells Fargo and they sent us a letter saying not qualified for loan modification. When I spoke with Wells Fargo about the denial, they told us the reason was an Application Discerptions, never in conversation I had with Wells Fargo, they never stated what type of discerptions the loan modification had. I have spoken representative from Home Preservation Team, Re-Entry team and someone from the executive office of Wells Fargo. My mothers loan is behind 40 payments because of the loan modification process she also wanted to get out of an ARM loan which has an interest rate of 7.8 %.
We have explain to Wells Fargo that we wanted a 30 year fixed loan and so hard to get it through loan modification. In XX/XX/XXXX , they sent in a Foreclosure Letter stating that they will foreclose on the property on XX/XX/XXXX , luckily I called the Division of Banks and delay the foreclosure for XX/XX/XXXX . Meanwhile Wells Fargo executive office is working again on our loan modification. In addition, we have sent a loan modification packet on XX/XX/XXXX and someone from Wells Fargo re-entry team called me on XX/XX/XXXX and said it was denied because they are going by the pervious denial even though the income increase.
My mother doesnt want lose her house. My brother and I was raised in the house and we want to continue to raise our kids there. My mother did a lot of work in the house to sustain the house in good condition. My mom has paid the house for 16 years almost half of the loan term.
Lastly, I have done a HUD counseling and they went over all of our budget and its shows that we are qualified for loan modification which I am enclosing the resolution document from XXXX did with us. Also, including the denial letter for Wells Fargo showing no specific of the indication of denial. I have spoken to them several times, which Wells Fargo indicated to me its was an Application Descriptions and explain them if I could fix the problem and they stated I have to send a whole application to be able to be approval to go to the Re Entry team.

Problem with fees
Complaint: This complaint is in regards to My XXXX Store card. I received a letter in the mail that my XXXX store card was closed due to non-payment of a {$35.00} balance. The card is issued by Wells Fargo Bank. I contacted the bank and spoke with account specialist XXXX in the collection department. I informed the representative that I did not receive a monthly bill as I always do and why did it take 3 months for the bank to notify Me of the past due amount.

I was told that my account was switched to electronic statements and the representative told me that there is no notes in the system to indicate that the customer ( Me ) requested electronic statements. Now Wells Fargo Bank is asking me to pay late fees and interest of {$130.00} for a balance that was {$35.00}. This is very disturbing to me, I have always paid my bill faithfully and this bank wants to rob me of my hard earn dollars.

The representative removed one late fee and I went ahead and paid the {$100.00} because I did not want this to ruin my good credit history because of a {$35.00} dispute. No company should be allowed to deceive any consumers in this way, if the consumer did not request electronic statements then no company should not be allowed to get away with doing these things.

If Wells Fargo bank did not received my payment of {$35.00} and I have always paid on time, perhaps a letter and a phone call would 've been more appropriate to send immediately to the consumer but no they did not do anything until interest and late fees racked up. This is shameful and bad business practice on their part and I would truly appreciate if you could look into this matter further. Thank you for your time.

Complaint: I went online to pay my XX/XX/XXXX WELLS FARGO mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX . The payment posted from my XXXX account on XX/XX/XXXX . On XX/XX/XXXX , XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX WELLS FARGO attempted to take an additional mortgage payment from my XXXX account. This resulted in 3 separate fees of {$29.00} withdrawn from my XXXX account because they made 3 separate attempts to withdraw this additional payment. I called Wells Fargo and spoke with XXXX who was no help at all. She explained that once I made the payment on XX/XX/XXXX it should have reset my pay to the next cycle in XXXX . Which I agreed. But then she started back tracking saying that it is not Wells Fargo fault and I should have called when I made the payment. She essentially tried to blame me for wells fargo system jot doing what she explained that it was supposed to do.This is unacceptable and cheating a loyal customer out of money. I have been with Wells Fargo mortgage since XXXX and have never been late or missed a payment.

Complaint: We have recieved several letters in the mail about our home being sold at foclusure auction. We have now received a letter of unlawful detainer from the court and an eviction notice. We have been trying for serveral months to get a loan modification but to no avail. We have also tried to make numerous payments and each time were told that more money was needed than we had available. My wife suffered a serious accident at work and has been on teporary XXXX and the mortgage company was also told that. We are trying to clear this up and find a resolution so that we dont have to leave our home. Please help us we are stressing out about this and have tried to call the mortgage company which told us they would call us back by XX/XX/XXXX and we have not heard anything back from them yet. Complaint: I deposited {$160.00} to my Wells Fargo account on XXXX XXXX to find out months later that my money was n't found. Also my account was closed. I had an amount of {$4000.00} in my account along with me depositing the {$160.00} on XXXX XXXX XXXX. I went into the back and talk to several customer reps and I was told it was nothing they could do. I watched Wells Fargo take money out of my account put it back in and repeat this method for a few months. I did n't mention anything to them because I did n't want to see crazy but my money was removed from my account, deposited into another account, I showed them the receipt but there was nothing done about it. They took one receipt from me that showed my balance of {$4000.00} but I was once again given nothing back. My account is closed now and it was n't my fault. Also my account had several unauthorized transactions but Wells Fargo reversed them and took the money away from my account. Now I 'm frustrated my phone is off I have no funds to pay any of my bills and I want all my money back and I do n't want to deal with Wells Fargo ever again and please find a way to mail me my funds or a check. to my address associated with the account every single penny.

Problem with personal statement of dispute
Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this letter. I just pulled my credit report, and discovered that a late payment was reported on XXXX 2017 for my account.
In the month of XXXX 2017, my uncle had a XXXX XXXX and was admitted to the hospital due to my uncle being wrongfully laid off from work. As a result of his age, he did not have insurance. My uncle has been a father to me as my father passed away when I was young. In that same month, the car was involved in an accident. In XXXX 2017, It had been brought to my attention that I fell victim to identity theft. I filed a police report for the identity theft to which put a severe hindrance on my finances. I also fell victim to a {$2500.00} IRS scam. In that same month, my CPA of 20 years died from XXXX XXXX which prevented me from filing my taxes correctly and so my company was audited. In XXXX my wife had a XXXX . In that same month, my mother was notified that she had XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX to which I had to leave my work and care for her. I fell on very rough times these past several months, which is why I and was unable to make car payments on time.
I realize I made a mistake in falling behind, but up until that point, my payment history with you had been spotless. I have regained my footing and will pay in full the amount owed on XXXX XXXX , 2017 and set up automatic payments moving forward.
I 'm not proud of this black mark on my record, but it 's the only one I have, and I would be extremely grateful if you could honor this request to remove the lateness from my credit report. It would help me immensely in securing other lines of credit so that I can further improve my credit score.
If the lateness can not be removed entirely, I would still be appreciative if you could make a goodwill adjustment.

Complaint: In XXXX XXXX I was 2 months behind on my mortgage. Well Fargo told me that I need to get into a forbearance plan or foreclosure would start. I was prepared to make my XXXX XXXX payment but was told to pay {$310.00} instead for the next year to see if I could improve my financial situation. I was concerned as to what would happen to the debt that accumulated for this year and was told that it would be put at the end of my loan and that I could get a loan modification. I told my home preservation specialist that I would become a substitute teacher and improve my income. At the end of the 12 months of paying {$310.00} was told that I could not pay my normal {$1100.00} and that I needed to pay the balance of {$15000.00}. I was told to apply for a loan modification. After applying for the loan modification I was told that the {$2200.00} that I made from XXXX XXXX and XXXX was not enough for a loan modification. I was never told how much I needed to make, just that I needed to improve my income. I had a foreclosure case scheduled for XXXX XXXX. I did n't have enough money for a lawyer so I wrote the response to the foreclosure complaint myself. I did n't answer the accusations with I deny, instead writing I disagree ( not knowing law language ) and the judge gave Wells Fargo a default judgement against me and allowed the foreclosure of my home.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo charged a {$50.00} " REWARDS ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE '' on a credit card which they stated had no annual FEE. The fee was charged to a card that had not even been activated in my business account. If it were not due to my diligent inspection of my account I would have also accumulated interest fees. When I called to report card fraud for transactions made to my account without my permission they refused to allow me to either electronically ( disabled in their system ) or over the phone submit a fraud claim. They were willing to " provide a credit for the fee '' stating that this was a " system error '' as if they were doing me a favor. <P/>My primary concern is for other customers who will fall victim to deception intended to result in financial or personal gain by an institution paid for the service of protecting their financial interest.
