Problem using a debit or ATM card
Complaint: Someone walked into a WellsFargo Bank at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , TX on XX/XX/XXXX and changed my debit card pin and withdrew {$900.00} from my account.

My apt was broken into and my debit card was home and they went to the bank and withdrew money. I reached out to the bank and they basically denied my claim and said that it was nothing they could do. They told me I probably allow this person to withdraw money from my acct.

Didn't receive terms that were advertised
Complaint: I signed up with Wells Fargo along with my son to get the {$250.00} incentive when opening an account and use it 10 times. After I signed up and used it 10 times, I noticed they did n't put {$250.00} in my account ( but my son already got his {$250.00} ). I wrote a message and was told " When a promotion has been credited, customers will see them on their accounts. Without a XXXX on file, the incentive can not be applied. '' So I went to the local Wells Fargo branch to submit my XXXX , weeks later they still said never received, until they called the branch to realize the branch did n't submit it XXXX even though they had in their possession. After that they said it would take another 5 business days ( this was XX/XX/XXXX ), on XX/XX/XXXX I wrote another message only to find out they have no idea what is going on and " have escalated and will take another 14 business days to find out in a letter ''. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and Wells Fargo says ( " bonus not posted because I am not " targeted '' ), which is completely false information, and makes no sense if that is true as my son already got the {$250.00}, also the fact they keep asking for more information for no reason. I would like the {$250.00} to be applied to my account or I will have no choice but to take Wells Fargo to small claims court

Cashing a check
Complaint: On Thursday XX/XX/XXXX I visited the local Wells Fargo branch in XXXX , VA with the intent of completing a routine deposit transaction. The teller assisting me stated she was unable to deposit the check because it was made out to an individual and this was a business account. I asked the teller to review the account because the check has been deposited several times she became combative and said NO I dont need to. She proceeded to say " try XXXX where you belong '' I asked for the manager XXXX came over and nonchalantly said we ca n't help you. I asked for his manager, he replied " your wasting your time '' and he will not be available until after XXXX . I insisted to obtain the information, he laughed and walked away. I took a seat in the lobby waiting over 15mins for him to return with the information. Upon returning without the information he asked if I ran " 1 of those home health care businesses '' I replied no and asked for the information again. He did not provide the information and stated they can not assist people like me. I have never felt more disrespected, and discriminated against.

Have the check and transaction reviewed and accepted as it has in the past. The entire branch staff needs training on discrimination and check deposit policies.

Complaint: To Whom it may concern : This complaint is against Wells Fargo for mishandling of my accounts and misguiding me through the setup of a mediation hearing. On XXXX / XXXX /17, I addressed Wells Fargo with concerns about a personal loan I feel was mishandled. I have attached that letter for your review. Since I have sent that letter, I have spoken with a handful of employees to try and correct the matter. I have had four separate Wells Fargo employees apologize and confirm that I should have never been given that APR rate in the first place.
After months of going back and forth, my savings and checking accounts were closed without communication, which resulted in my loan APR increasing because I no longer had a checking and savings account. I was also not informed about this interest rate increase. I was than contacted by the Wells Fargo Mediation department. They reached out to me to assist as they have a new marketing strategy to make things right. I was told that they would research the claim and report back to me. After a few days I was called and offered {$1000.00}. I asked if that was all. The employee stated it was and I would be taking a risk and might not get anything in mediation. I asked to think about it. I was called again and offered {$1500.00}. I asked if they had found out if one of their employees was found to be mishandling my accounts and I was told that I was not allowed to know anything about what Wells Fargo had researched. I asked than what would be sent to the mediator and I was told that a packet of information was already being sent out and I would receive a copy as well. This information was not disclosed to me until after I was offered two small monetary amounts to avoid mediation. I informed the employee that I wanted to review the documents first before I decided how to proceed. The packet arrived late and the initial loan in question was omitted from the packet. I contacted the employee and he stated it must have been an oversight and a new one would be sent immediately to the moderator and me. The packet only contained my initial letter and basic paperwork from my accounts. It did not contain any emails or information I had. I received another call from the employee offering {$2000.00}. I was told that I would have the chance to tell the mediator anything I wanted but that I may not be awarded anything and I should think about the {$2000.00}. I stated that I felt Wells Fargo was not putting my best interests first and I felt I needed a mediator.
Between the time I chose mediation and the mediation appointment, I had another monthly payment to make. I have always paid on time. When I signed into the online account the payment options showed my next payment was due in XXXX . I thought I had forgot I paid and I signed off. I second-guessed and signed back on. The layout of the online account had been altered showing XXXX but when I clicked on it, XXXX payment showed a two month value. I used the additional payment option to pay for XXXX and took a screenshot, which is attached to this complaint. So I chose mediation and the online options were altered which could have resulted in me missing a payment, a late fee and making me look as though I was delinquent before a mediation hearing. That is unethical and unacceptable. I emailed the employee again and informed him of the situation. I was told I should talk to the support center and he only deals with mediation scheduling. I asked if the screenshot could be sent to the mediator. I was told that Wells Fargo doesnt use screenshots as they are not legal documents. I than asked if the Mediator was given any of my emails. I was told no and he had only the packet that was mailed to him. I stated I was uncomfortable that everything was going through Wells Fargo and I had no option to send the mediator more information. Only than was I informed that I could send additional information but the timing was bad as we were going into the weekend and mediation was scheduled for XXXX XXXX XXXX / XXXX /17. Since my communication about the online account changes, the online account has returned back to normal.
Today, XXXX / XXXX /17, I received a call at XXXX XXXX from a Wells Fargo employee just 30 minutes before the mediation call. He had heard I may want to add information and I could postpone the meeting. I elected to postpone the meeting for a few reasons : 1. I was not given all of the information in regards to what could be given to the mediator 2. I felt I was being rushed into mediation without fair opportunity to compile my case based on the withholding of information about the process unless I specifically asked the right question.
3. It is clear that Wells Fargo does not intend to fix the damages their company has inflicted onto trusting customers. They wanted to avoid mediation for a low price. They wanted to go through mediation without providing all necessary information for both parties. They would not submit the online screenshot demonstrating a tactic to set me up so I would be delinquent on a payment just before mediation.
As a responsible, hard working person who has tried to manage my finances I need assistance against a large corporation that has way more resources than I do. This entire process has caused severe damage to my day to day life. Wells Fargo has a known pattern of behavior when it comes to mishandling clients and accounts. The corruption has been proved. They have accepted guilt but are not willing to provide customers with what they are owed.
I am asking for all of the money I have paid to be given back and for the loan to be forgiven as consequence for the unethical actions taken by Wells Fargo against me. There is no way to describe the feeling of distrust I have for Wells Fargo. They have caused much stress and suffering to me and my family. Wells Fargo took back XXXX XXXX dollars from the executives that left the company but they are not willing to do what is right and clear my debt. A debt that would be responsibly paid off by now had I not been lied to about my first interest rate. I have had four different employees apologize and tell me I should have never been given that rate.

Complaint: I opened an Everyday Checking Account with Wells Fargo on XXXX XXXX , 2017 ( with an opening deposit of {$50.00} ). I did so with the promise that were I to meet certain conditions I would receive a bonus of {$250.00} ( see attached documents ). The conditions were that I direct-deposit more than {$500.00} into the account and that I make more than 10 purchases with my WF debit card -- -both actions to be taken within 60 days of account opening. As can be seen from the attached statements, I indeed fulfilled the requirements within 60 days of my application. Given my performance of the terms of the agreement under which I opened the account, I should have received a bonus of {$250.00} well before the date of this complaint ( XXXX - XXXX -2017 ). Lamentably, I have thus far received no bonus.

Complaint: I initiated the bank to bank transfer with Wells Fargo to transfer {$1800.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to Wells Fargo on XXXX XXXX , 2017. On the morning ( XXXX XXXX ) of XXXX XXXX , 2017 I called to cancel the web transfer, and was told by a Wells Fargo customer representative told that the transaction would be cancelled. Later that day, I check my XXXX XXXX account and the funds has been withdrawn. I then called XXXX XXXX , and was told to they would start an investigation. In the meantime, the funds were not appearing in my Wells Fargo account or back in my XXXX XXXX account. On XXXX XXXX , 2017 I received a fax confirming that funds were transferred to Wells Fargo. I then called Wells Fargo because the funds were still not showing in my account, and had to start another investigation. I was told it would take up to 10 days to research my claim. That amount of time is unacceptable, as I do not understand why they are unable to find my funds relating to this transfer.

Complaint: My original mortgage loan was purchased by Wells Fargo in the late XXXX XXXX . After my wife died on XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo scheduled my home for foreclosure in XXXX of the same year. I tried and tried and tried to to work out something ; anything to keep my home and I was turned away. I sent Wells Fargo repeated copies of my wife 's death certificate and they never seemed to be able to keep it. They continue, to this very day, to send correspondence to my deceased wife or to her and I jointly. Though I have made repeated request for them to remove her name as she is DEAD. I have had agents of Wells Fargo say they would review what has happenened to me but they have never disclosed any information concerning any findings. They have now sold my home and have not provided me with anything information whatsoever. They just took my house of 20 years after repeatedly denying me a chance at a loan modification or any remedy at all, like I was nothing. Perhaps, I am nothing. Please help!!

Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Complaint: In the past, WFFNB/ XXXX XXXX has called multiple times a day regarding a debt they claim we owe. We asked multiple times for paperwork that stated the amounts owed which we never received. I have since disputed this debt twice online. Both times my credit report updated that " consumer disputes debt '' and I never received anything verifying the debt by mail or email. Since the disputes were filed the phone calls have ceased all together. I have sent a pay to delete letter to the address listed on my credit report for the company a month ago with no response as of yet. I have also attempted to contact the phone number listed for the company on my credit report but that is an invalid phone number.

I 've contacted these company 's by phone email and mailing certified letters. I have n't received any documents, phone calls nor emails from the banks, credit bureaus and The XXXX . It has been over a period of five years since XXXX /2012 and current. I 've asked the company 's to send verifiable documents of any signatures pertaining to me but i still have n't received any documents back yet. I have not been able to open an account in over 5 years and have n't open any accounts because of this fraudulent error where my identity was used to open the accounts listed above without my consent. Identity theft is one of the biggest crimes and it 's an ongoing crime that i have no control over. During this period i also lost my wallet that had my license, social security card, birth certificate and more. This is been an uncomfortable situation that i had to deal with for a very long time and its affected my life. It 's difficult to work a job and get paid where i can not put my money in the bank because someone used my identity to open several bank accounts under my name.

Complaint: XXXX /2014 I applied for a business line of credit with wells fargo and was told the application was denied! A few days later I get a call from a upset business manager, who told me that the loan notes included racist information about me and me co signer! stating that I was a younger XXXX women and he was a older XXXX nice male that just wanted to help, but maybe getting took advantage of! because of this I know my loan was denied! the business manager also said that we were approved for a credit card which was never offered to us as a option! the business manager wen on to say that she reported it to the branch manager which nothing was said to me or done for me to make this right! the man they say I was taken advantage of is the father of my child and we still to this day have a relationship. It was never none of there business my color, age or relationship to my cosigner. I did contact a lawyer about filing a discrimination suite but was unable to afford it and just out right did n't know what to do! I do know wells fargo is prejudice and a very unfair bank! the loans specialist do not receive any consequences for her actions and I was unable to get my business up and going without the loan!

Complaint: The bank wells fargo is telling me that I can not ( online Transfer ) more then 6 times a mouth and they will charge me a fee. They tell me that it is a federal law. And if a transfer is need, I will half to come in to a branch and do this transfer. sometimes I do more then 6 transfer and they never said nothing about this law, but the last 3 months they have been doing it. On XXXX-XXXX-17 I went in to the branch on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and withdrew XXXX from savings the withdraw receipt was mark savings the teller took the money out of checking. the next day i used my card and I found that me checking was over drafted went to transfer money I could not do because the federal law. It cost me lost of money. The bank Wells Fargo would not help me ( meaning the bank was closed, so I called the 24 hr phone number the lady told me ( XXXX XXXX ) could not do it ) But they did help them selves to my money.
