Complaint: Wells Fargo Financial National Bank keeps putting a negative remark on my credit reports that is incorrect, not authorized and they keep putting this statement on my credit file.
This is copied directly from my credit report : This is on my WF/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ACCOUNT DETAILS Account status Closed Individual Remarks Dispute resolved ; consumer disagrees, account closed by consumer The individual remarks are being put on my credit file by this company when I have NEVER DISPUTED THIS ACCOUNT : The account is closed, the account was late due to sickness and loss of job but account is now handled by a debt management company and is current. I am not disputing this, I do not disagree but this company keeps putting these FALSE remarks on my credit files and I want them to be investigated.
This is not the first time that any entity of Wells Fargo has been caught doing illegal things to consumers. I want this remark to be removed immediately and permanently and I do not want it to keep coming back on my file each month. The only remark should be " Account Closed by consumer '' All other remarks and dispute codes should be removed and stay removed.
I will keep filing CFPB complaints each month that Wells Fargo keeps putting these lies on my credit files. I am sick of dealing with this and if you refuse to remove, if you refuse to initiate contact with me I will escalate this complaint to the FTC and the State Attorney Generals office and if I have to sue you in a court of law over you putting these false remarks on my file I will do so..
I have contacted them at WF/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IA XXXX USA ( XXXX ) XXXX And they refuse to call me back or to comply with my request thus this complaint being filed.

Complaint: I refinanced my home in XXXX of 2018. At the time of closing, my homeowner 's insurance was paid to the insurer listed on my closing documents. This policy was paid in full at closing for the calendar year. In XXXX of 2018, my old insurer, XXXX XXXX XXXX sent a bill to Wells Fargo indicating that my insurance had lapsed and they needed payment. Well this was due to the fact that I changed insurance during my refinance. Wells Fargo decided to pay over {$3500.00} total to XXXX XXXX XXXX out of my escrow account. It should have been researched to determine that I already had insurance paid for at closing, but rather they just sent more funds out of my escrow account. Now Wells Fargo is telling me that I am not due a refund of these additional funds they paid out of my account. This is incorrect. My insurance was paid at closing and the error was made by Wells Fargo. They have now told me to try to go after XXXX myself to obtain a refund. Why would I do that when it was not my mistake that caused this? Why would XXXX XXXX have any reason to refund me when it was a policy that has been in place incorrectly due to Wells Fargo 's mistake. I am asking that this be resolved immediately by refunding the additional insurance funds that were taken out of my account incorrectly. If need be, I can have my lawyer pursue this as well.

Complaint: I was a Wells Fargo member for over 10 years, I had a credit card with them that went to collection. I was in the process to change jobs when I started to running behind with payments and went to collection. After the account was place in collection I reached them to " pay for delete '' and we were able to settled the account. I paid {$510.00} now the account is XXXX balance. I called to send them a Good will letter so see if they are able to remove the account off my credit report, since it has a high impact on my account, hurting my scores badly. They say that I was able to settle for the 40 % and I still have a balance with them. I told them I have my receipt an I have a balance XXXX. This company is not able to negotiate with no one. I believe this in an abuse of power.

Complaint: On XX/XX/19 I was negotiating with a seller on XXXX to purchase tickets to a basketball game. They asked me to send money via XXXX to their account. I logged on my Wells Fargo app, input the sellers information, and sent {$250.00}, which was the agreed upon price. I let the seller know I sent it and then received no further communication, nor did the seller send the tickets to me. I called Wells Fargo, and finally got to their fraud department after half an hour on hold and multiple disconnections. Several bankers transferred me to other departments, etc, and I had to call multiple numbers in order to find someone that could help. It took an additional 20 minutes to file a complaint and I was given a reference number and a 10 business day waiting period.

Banking errors
Complaint: We opened a Wells Fargo Checking Account on XXXX XX/XX/2019. WF Bank had an offer of {$400.00} Bonus credit to the account if direct deposits totaling at least {$3000.00} were deposited into the account in three consecutive months, within 150 days of account opening. The offer said the bonus would be credited within 45 days of meeting the criteria. Account had to be open with at least {$1.00} balance on the crediting day.
We have met all the requirements. In the months of XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, our pensions totaling in excess of {$3000.00} was credited to the account, the last credit being on XXXX XX/XX/2019, This meets the criteria of three consecutive months of direct deposits of XXXX each within 150 days of account opening. So the criteria were met on XXXX XX/XX/2019 and the bank should have credited the bonus within 45 days which was XXXX XX/XX/2019. So far the money ( {$400.00} ) has not been credited.
We have communicated with the bank via their online message portal. They contend that irrespective of when the third consecutive direct deposit is credited, they will count 150 days from account opening as the date the criteria are met, and then will take another 45 days to credit the bonus amount to the account. Their specific response was, " However, the account has not yet met the 150 day opening date timeframe, which is XX/XX/2019. The bonus will be deposited into your new checking account within 45 days of meeting the offer requirement. '' We have responded that the 150 days is the limit within which the 3 direct deposits have to be made, but otherwise has no bearing on when the offer criteria are met. The bank maintains that the bonus is not due until 45 days from 150 days irrespective of when we meet the " 3 consecutive direct deposits of {$3000.00} each '' criteria.

Complaint: This communication is regarding the response Wells Fargo made in the complaint # XXXX. Well Fargo mentioned that they did the release of lien on XX/XX/XXXX. The release of lien did not transfer any title back to me. After doing some research on this issue we found that while the mortgage loan was in Wells Fargo Trust, on XX/XX/2009, XXXX XXXX cleared the title and transferred the title of our property.
Wells Fargo as a loan servicer, does not have a right to fraudulently transfer the title of my property.
XXXX XXXX clears/transfers the title when they receive notification/information from the servicer.
By causing to fraudulently transferring the title, you have completely broken the chain of my title. Your title has never been transferred back to me.
According to Mers, you were not even the mortgage servicer of the mortgage loan on my property since XX/XX/2009.
So here are the facts I have : 1. You caused to transfer my property title on XX/XX/2009.
2. Your right to service existing mortgage loan ended on the XX/XX/2009.
3. You violated the RESPA, by not reporting the change of loan servicing.
4. You released a mortgage lien that did not transfer the title back to me.
5. You released the mortgage lien when you even lacked the right to do so as a mortgage servicer.
So please let me know if you have anything to justify yourself free of any wrongdoing.
Thanks in advance.

Complaint: My loan, currently with Wells Fargo, was originated in XX/XX/XXXX, with my late husband. After his death, I made a large principal paydown, and continued to make biweekly payments as timely as possible despite the decline in income. I never let the payments fall more that 30 days delinquent sine XX/XX/XXXX.
I had to make the decision to move due to my son 's medical condition, in order to move closer to family and create a support system, as of XX/XX/XXXX. The work I had completed to make repairs to the home required me to cash out my XXXX, yet I still kept current.
I left the property to move to Georgia, but still kept current with my payments up to that point. The utilities are still active, a security system is still engaged, and the local police have been contacted to provide a " passing attention ''.
Despite this, my realtor showed up at the property on XX/XX/XXXX to find a vacancy and pending property securing notice on my door, as if I were in default. This was an *MASSIVE ERROR* since my last payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX.
This clarified why I received several cancellation notices for property viewing in the one week that passed since moving. Any prospective buyers would be either scared off or willing to wait out a foreclosure in order to possibly purchase the home at a lower cost.
I worked for XXXX XXXX for 13 years. I am well aware of how damaging a hint of Foreclose action can be for a home sale. When I called Wells Fargo to question why this notice was posted, none of the representatives could explain why.
I would like an investigation into this matter. This error may have cost me the prospect for multiple interested buyers. Instead of having a number of prospects, I am whittled down to very few, and it has prevented a speedy resolution. My son 's illness has required that I resign from my 13 year long position in order to tend to his medical and educational needs. My income is now limited, so I will not be able to afford the mortgage.

Complaint: On Tuesday XX/XX/2019, I purchased tickets to an event on XXXX. Tickets were sent to me via XXXX ticket transfer and verified as real tickets into my account ( I even have a receipt from them ). I then proceeded to transfer XXXX $ into a fraudulent account via Well 's Fargo transferring service XXXX. Around 10 minutes later, I received a message from XXXX saying the original tickets were purchased fraudulently ( using a fraudulent credit card ) and that the tickets in my account were cancelled. I contacted Well 's Fargo immediately, notifying them of the fraud that occurred and to ask them to return the money into my account. I informed them that the account on the other end of the transaction was either fraudulent or that someone stole their identity and that they shuld freeze that account immediately. The gentleman on the phone replied that it was a XXXX XXXX XXXX account that the money was sent into and that he would file a Fraud claim to get this resolved.
That same night, I contacted XXXX to ask why they would send me verified tickets to an event that I purchased and then cancel them. They responded that they can only guarantee tickets that are bought on their website, but can not honor transferred tickets even though the tickets I purchased were legitimate seats that were just purchased from XXXX.
That same night I filed a police report informing them of the scam and giving them any information about the individual who I bought the tickets from.
Well 's Fargo never contacted me back, so tonight XX/XX/2019, I called them requesting an update. Supposedely my claim was never documented as a fraud claim and they never froze the fraudulent account on the other end ( even though I filed a police report, I offerred to show them the report, but they did not want it ). They said the customer care claim had been closed ( even though I was not notified ), and that I would not be getting a refund. They would not tell me anything regarding the fraudulent individual 's account or where my money went. I know Well 's Fargo had many issues in the past with them allowing fraudulent accounts and having millions of individuals ' account information stolen. I asked if this individual was one of those accounts, but they refused to give me any information. I spoke to them for 2 hours on the phone, being bounced around and given the run around. In the end they said nothing could be done and that I was wasting my time because I authorized the transaction. This is furthest from the truth, I did not authorize a transaction into a fraudulent account that should have never been allowed to be made. XXXX is apart of a XXXX XXXX that requires photo ID and social security numbers to open. If the fraudulent account was never opened or never got stolen, the transfer of my funds would have never went through. It is something Well 's Fargo should have prevented. I have a Well 's Fargo claim number if needed ( although it is closed apparently ) I have a police report number if needed
