Complaint: I bought a REO property through an XXXX auction. The bank selling the property gave me a XXXX page contract stating what they would and would not pay for in the transaction. I consulted my lawyer and had a good understanding of the contract. The bank 's lawyer then told me and my Lawyer " do n't care what the contract says, our client is not paying any of these expenses. " I argued with the bank and they agree their lawyer was wrong about some items and offered to pay a fraction of the charges. I have not heard from them since.

Complaint: My parents opened an IRA with Wells Fargo for me for the tax year XX/XX/XXXX in XXXX. It was opened with my Social Security # but since I was in college at the time, moving frequently, my parents had the statements mailed to their house. A few years later my parents moved to XXXX and continued to have the statements mailed to them. A few months ago I was looking through documents my parents had given me years ago and found a statement from XX/XX/XXXX and wondered what the value of it was. I called Wells Fargo - they have no record of that account number and know nothing about it. I 've called their general XXXX # ; their South Dakota headquarters, several depts and even the branch in XXXX, XXXX where it was opened. Wells suggests that because there was no activity ( e.g. contributions ) on the account that they would have sent a notice asking for contact from the customer and if they did n't receive a reply they would have escheated it to the state where it was first opened. They also note that since it 's been more than 7 years they are not required to keep records and is why they are n't able to find the account number or any activity on it.
I have called the XXXX State Treasury 's Unclaimed Property - they do not have any record of it. The XXXX State Treasury indicates that they believe that unclaimed property will follow the individual 's Social Security # and since I now live in XXXX, WA it may be here. I called the WA State Treasury. Their unclaimed property dept has no record of it. WA State Treasury believes that unclaimed property would have been sent to the state that the bank last had record of for the customer. In this case that would be XXXX. I called the XXXX State Treasury, and again - they have no record of it either.
My mother is meticulous about keeping records - she does not ever recall receiving a notification from Wells Fargo that there was no activity on the account and it was going to be escheated. Both my parents and myself had assumed that an IRA is not something that needed to be kept " active '' - we were under the assumption that it is a retirement account, meant to be left alone until ready to draw on the funds in retirement. I am far from retirement. Your help with this matter is greatly appreciated.

Complaint: I contacted my bank ( Wells Fargo ) regarding a debit from my account from XXXX that I did not authorize. I filed a claim for {$220.00} then {$90.00}. I was issued a temporary credit while they investigated. On XXXX, I received a letter stating the investigation was closed and I authorized the transaction. The letter stated I could call the number and receive documentation that made my bank reach that judgement. The letter also stated that the temporary credit will be reversed " 5 business days after XXXX/XXXX/15 ''. I called customer service to get information about my claim. I was told that it was closed but they still are in arbitration with XXXX and I may in fact get my money back. They told me that XXXX has until XXXX XXXX to respond again. I asked if they are still working to get the money back, why are they needing to reverse the credit. I was told that at that point they had to. No real answers. On XXXX/XXXX/2015 after XXXX, the credit was reversed. I had outstanding debits because I was expecting them to reverse the credit when they said they would. I called and requested to speak with a manager. I was told they will have a manager call me back within 24-48hrs. No call back. I received a bill from XXXX, showing where they reversed the payment of {$220.00} and put it back on my bill. I contacted customer service on XXXX, letting them know that XXXX reversed that. I wanted to know why if XXXX reversed it, why is my bank stating that the money was with XXXX. I also let them know I never received a call from manager. The representative stated no one was available to assist me since it was escalated to manager, so I must wait for a call. She put in a XXXX request. This is XXXX and I still have n't heard anything.

Complaint: Back in XX/XX/XXXX we had to claim chapter XXXX bankruptcy. I had a loan on my car with Wells Fargo I made my payments, then paid the car off in XX/XX/XXXX. When I looked at my credit report I noticed I did n't get any kind of credit for doing this. Wells Fargo stated it was discharged in Bankruptcy. I called them and they said it was there right to not show I made my payments and that I had paid this account in full because we filed chapter XXXX and did n't reaffirm the loan so this is why we do n't get any credit for the payoff or my monthly payments made. I do n't understand how they can do this and how can I rebuild my credit when things like this happen.

Complaint: WellsFargo Bank N.A. Credit Card Limit Increased I obtained a credit card through Wellsfargo at age XXXX, upon beginning my university career. From age XXXX to the present, over XXXX seeing through my responsibility my credit card payments has been a priority. Upon losing my full time employment position in XXXX due to the recession, I was provided with a severance pay equal to a little over {$8000.00}. At the time I owed Wellsfargo Bank 's Credit Card company about {$8000.00}. I paid the balance in full.
After I lost my middle class job in XXXX. So I worked XXXX jobs ( XXXX ) as a XXXX and ( XXXX ) for the XXXX, my income was below the poverty line. I took the XXXX and made it into XXXX School. In XXXX, a period in which I made an income lower than the poverty line and later as a XXXX student Wellsfargo continued to raise the credit limit on the credit card issued to me until it reached about {$20000.00}. In addition, while having no stable source of income and as a student they provided me with a personal line of credit in the amount of {$9000.00}. They did so, without my requesting them to do so, and without taking into consideration whether or not I was employed, nor taking into consideration my income.
Customer Service Upon graduating from XXXX School, I was extended the great privilege of accessing a incredible job offer where my income would have been above {$90000.00} per year. The XXXX exam, however, has been a barrier. I did not pass the exam the XXXX time ( XXXX XXXX exam ). I had to take the exam a XXXX time, with no income and while unemployed, I was forced to look to my Credit Card and my Personal Line of Credit to take on that XXXX exam endeavor XXXX more time.
Forbearance Denied Before taking the XXXX exam a XXXX time I called Wellsfargo 's Credit Card company. I explained I was unemployed, a student, and that I could foresee a struggle with payments. They informed me they could do nothing to help me and was asked to pay an even greater amount of money than my original required amount that month.
I was unemployed at the time and knew I would fall behind if I did n't get help. So I began to live off my personal line of credit, and to use it to pay my Credit Card to keep up with the payments, I simultaneously worked to find a employment and was unsuccessful. Because I had this a life changing job offer still accessible if I passed the XXXX, I felt the reasonable thing to do was to try to get the XXXX Exam again. If I passed, I 'd pay off all my debt in no time and I could provide for me and a better quality of life for my family. Sadly, I did not pass the exam the XXXX time ( XXXX XXXX ). After take the exam in XXXX I looked for work vehemently. I was unable to secure stable income until XXXX XXXX. My paychecks average {$1000.00} to {$1200.00} a month. Once I secured employment and knew I 'd be paid in the upcoming month or so I called WellsFargo to see if we could coordinate a more manageable payment plan. The interest rates were lowered. I believed I would be able to make monthly payments of about {$350.00}. So I borrowed a significant sum from a friend and got the account caught up in the Fall of XXXX. Once I had an income {$460.00} went to rent, {$200.00} went to food, {$250.00} to gas. I was unable to to keep up. Excessive late fees have accrued, closing canceling of accounts too. To pay the entire sum of the credit card debt over the course of ( XXXX ) three years at {$630.00} per month or ( XXXX ) one year at a rate of {$1100.00} per month. A sale of account is planned. Help.

Complaint: I was approved for Federal Mortgage assistance through Keep Your Home California. My loan servicer offered a loan modification but refused to accept the federal assistance funds. By declining the federal funds Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is rolling my delinquent balance back into principal and resetting my repayment at 360 months which ultimately makes a greater profit for the investor over the long term at my expense, in this case about {$80000.00} in additional interest. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage accepted a XXXX dollar bailout package from taxpayers, I find it completely unbelievable that they can decline accepting funds from a federal program that was created to help individuals in distress ... Especially those of use who are XXXX XXXX veterans from recent XXXX!
