Complaint: Around XX/XX/XXXX I leased a vehicle with Lexus Financial Services ( " LFS '' ). I had several issues with LFS - which I 'm currently going to address the last ( I may file a complaint at a later problems due to other issue with LFS ).
Around XX/XX/XXXX, I traded the Lexus in on an Audi ( XXXX XXXX in Ohio ). At the time a payment to LFS was pending being credited to my account ; therefore, I was unsure of the exact pay off amount. I signed the paperwork with XXXX to payoff the Lexus for {$17000.00}.
I later received voicemail ( s ) from XXXX including LFS would n't provide XXXX the payoff information for the Lexus, and XXXX requested I contact LFS to get the information. ( There 's more than one voice mail which I still have them. ) I did called LFS, received my updated payoff amount which was {$16000.00} ( much less than the {$17000.00} I signed the paperwork for ) ; and I emailed the information to XXXX. ( There are several emails involved which I also kept the emails ).
My understanding from XXXX XXXX is LFS released information which is privacy protected ( which LFS had told me they are n't allowed to release due to privacy ; and LFS later denied they said such though I 've XXXX XXXX on voicemail saying such. I 'd need to read the emails to see if its in email as well ).
It was n't until around XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from LFS that the Lexus had been paid off.
By XX/XX/XXXX, I still had n't received a credit from LFS or XXXX XXXX for the difference of the overpayment of the trade-in ( {$17000.00} on the paperwork versus the {$16000.00} LFS showed as due ). So XX/XX/XXXX I sent a letter to each LFS and XXXX XXXX ( as being provided with this complaint ).
XXXX XXXX called me : again claiming LFS would n't provide them the payoff information ( though I 'd also emailed it to XXXX XXXX a few time myself which I have the emails ), that XXXX XXXX issued a check to LFS dated XX/XX/XXXX for the {$17000.00} which the check had cleared ( please keep in mind I traded in the Lexus on the Audi around XX/XX/XXXX - so XXXX XXXX did n't even issue the payment to LFS for nearly a MONTH, and they did n't provide the date the check cleared ).
I never made a late payment to LFS nor did I have a late payment on my credit report ( I do n't know now whether I do due to the delay of XXXX issuing payment to LFS. However, the payoff issue was between LFS and XXXX ; and I firmly believe my credit should not be negatively affected due to such ).
Based upon what XXXX XXXX shared, XXXX paid LFS the {$17000.00} ; thus, LFS owes me the refund. Even though my letter to LFS provided until XX/XX/XXXX, I received NO response form LFS ( which does n't surprise me as I had numerous problems with them ).
There is more detail available in the letters dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX - one to LFS and one to XXXX XXXX ( which also provide the mailing address ). If the emails and/or recordings are necessary I 'm willing to forward them.
I am hopeful I wo n't be forced to waste more of my time dealing with this nonsense and once I file this complaint that LFS will issue the appropriate refund in a timely manner, and make sure my credit report is not nor will be negatively effected.

Complaint: I came to the dealership to purchase a new vehicle. I was greeted by XXXX XXXX XXXX, the sales consultant, there. After we sat down and discussed the terms to the new car purchase, he and the sales manager, XXXX XXXX, told me the price for the new XXXX Toyota Camry SE was {$19000.00}. With that price being agreed upon, I went in the room to discuss the finance with the financial manager, XXXX XXXX.
XXXX told me that because I did not qualify for a low interest loan, they would have to take away the {$2500.00} cash back offer by Toyota manufacturer so I can be qualified for the loan. That brought the total up to {$22000.00}. On top of that, he said because Toyota financial service will only guarantee me the loan if I purchase all of their warranties. At the end, the total came up to be {$31000.00} including tax and title fees. When finally drove the car home, I realized that the paperwork stated the car was a XXXX Toyota Camry SE but the car they did the paperwork on was a LE model, which cost less than the purchase price on the paperwork.
I contacted the dealership later trying to resolve my problem but XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX refused to work with me to resolve the situation. Even though they provided me with misleading information on the purchase price and the actual model of the car. XXXX also falsely told me that I need to purchase all of their warranties in order to qualify for the loan.

Complaint: I recently returned a lease to Lexus, which was financed through Lexus Financial Services. As part of the negotiation to return the lease and enter into a new lease, Lexus agreed to settle the remaining balance on my account. The account had a balance of {$1800.00}. Lexus applied a waiver for that amount to my account, which I can see is posted on XXXX/XXXX/2016 when reviewing the online account history. However, I recently received a notice from Lexus Financial Services indicating that I owed a balance of {$1800.00}. The notice was dated XXXX/XXXX/2016 and indicated that I needed to pay that balance in full on XXXX/XXXX/2016. I contacted Lexus Financial Services on XXXX/XXXX/2016 and was informed that my account had been placed with the XXXX. I spoke with a representative ( XXXX, ID # XXXX ) and he informed me that he did not see the transaction in that amount in the notes he was reviewing on the account ( which is separate from the accounting system ), and that my account still has a balance of {$1800.00}. He informed me that the waiver was not a payment on the account, and rather that the balance was moved to a closed XXXX number account. None of this had ever been explained to me when returning the lease, and when talking with the dealer they informed me that the balance would be settled in full. No one had ever explained that I would have a " closed account '' established for this balance and that the balance would be due immediately. I am concerned that this was a deceptive act on behalf of the dealer and Lexus Financial Services, and that they led me to believe that I had closed my account in full when in fact the balance was moved to a separate account without my knowledge.

Complaint: Car XXXX XXXX/XXXX/16 in which the other driver was at fault. Toyota Financial Services representatives ( more than XXXX reps ) and also in writing ( several ) stated to the driver at fault 's insurance company, XXXX, a payoff amount that was incorrect. The amount was incorrect by {$500.00}. Toyota Financial Services representative, XXXX XXXX, promised on XXXX/XXXX/16 to issue the {$500.00} to my husband and I. XXXX XXXX does not return calls and when I can actually speak with him, he promises to call back to let me know the status and as of today I have still not received the {$500.00}. Complaint: Lexus/Toyota mistakenly sent my account to collection for {$400.00} ( for a missing key ). I returned all keys when I turned in my vehicle to Lexus dealer at end of lease on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Lexus then confirmed from paperwork that was sent from Lexus dealer on the day I returned the vehicle that it shows XXXX keys were returned to Lexus dealer by me so Lexus waived {$400.00} from my account. Lexus then issued a letter on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX ( as attached ) that shows XXXX balance per my request.
I contacted Lexus the day I received a collection letter ( please see attachment ) and asked them to remove the collection since it 's invalid debt ; I have XXXX balance per last letter that Lexus sent me, and they refused to make correction of their own mistake.

Complaint: I financed the purchase of my Toyota Corolla XXXX in XXXX XXXX through Toyota Financial Services. I paid off the loan at the end of XXXX XXXX and took delivery of the Certificate of Title from Toyota Financial Services on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I was however, shocked to read their attached letter which clearly stated that " We encourage you to re-title the vehicle immediately upon receipt of the title/lien release document since all records maintained by your state of residence will continue to reflect our lien on the vehicle until you do so. '' I called Toyota Financial Services to complain that they should re-title the vehicle and not pass the cost to me. The representative who took my call ignored and was informed that I would lodging a complaint with the CPFB. In fact, I even finished paying for the vehicle over four ( 4 ) months before its original maturity date and deserved not to be treated rudely.

Complaint: I experienced identity theft and notified XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and Toyota. They have reported to the credit reporting services that upon investigation, they had decided that I was in serious delinquency even though they knew about the identity theft. After notifying them of the theft, the thief was able to open a credit card at XXXX XXXX under my name and rack up additional debt. I immediately informed them that I did not open this card and had they looked at my account, they would 've been able to identify the continued identity theft. Instead, they took more than {$6000.00} out of my checking account to pay the balance on this fraudulent credit card. And now XXXX XXXX is claiming, I owe them {$3800.00} which is destroying my credit. They also never repaid a penny of the theft which was laundered through my bank account. They only saw the problem when I went into the branch to make an inquiry about my account. XXXX XXXX claimed it was my problem. XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX claimed I owed an amount that was also part of the identity theft. I provided them with XXXX police reports about the identity theft and a notarized FTC proclamation about the theft. This too continues to destroy my credit. I 've employed many credit repair service to no avail. In fact, they take the debts off my credit report and then put them back on. And Toyota was paid in full and apparently that payment went to a different payment address and it took Toyota three months to get the payment credited to my account. They have put this on my credit report as late payments. XXXX Bank Line of Credit put late payments as " seriously delinquent '' even though I was in a modification of the loan which XXXX XXXX said I did not have to pay until the modification was complete. During the modification progress, XXXX XXXX continued to ask for more and more paperwork which I did provide but nothing happened with the modification until I got a refinance loan and paid them off. No matter what I do, I can not get my credit score to what it was prior to the identity theft.

Complaint: BACKGROUND INFORMATION : I took over a 3-year lease on a XXXX Toyota Corolla from my brother-in-law, who no longer needed the car due to his relocation for a PhD program. I agreed to carry out the remaining 10 months of the lease agreement. After paying Toyota the lease transfer fees, I noticed problems in my credit. My FICO credit score is good ( XXXX-XXXX ) -- this has remained generally constant. Nevertheless, I did notice irregularities in my credit report that are disconcerting to me. For instance, my place of employment lists his employer from XXXX state ( I live in XXXX ) and his date of birth appears on MY credit score. This scared me ; therefore, I wrote a letter to Toyota Financial Services requesting they fix the issue and explain how it could have happened and encouraging them to look into others ' lease transfers for such errors. I sent this letter XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and have not received any response in return. I was able to dispute the errors with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, and successfully ( I hope? ) have the errors corrected. Nevertheless, I am mostly infuriated that I NEVER received a response from Toyota in response to my problem. I even called Toyota expecting a call back, and they have ignored me at every step.
Please see copy of letter I sent out last month requesting an explanation and relief by rectifying errors with the major credit reporting agencies.

Complaint: Went to lease a new Toyota Prius. The dealership made a deal without checking my credit report. They advertise XXXX+ FICO credit rating. My credit cards free FICO report showed XXXX+ on my statements, so I was n't worried. After transferring insurance and making the down payment, a person from the finance department showed up and said, we have a problem, my credit rating is less than XXXX. I asked ; which credit FICO or Vantage? His answer was ; Your XXXX. That is your credit, if you want the car the payment will be {$65.00} more.Being my insurance already transferred at that time, I decided I can pay for the new amount, but I still do n't think that is the right amount or that was the right way to make the deal. Also, I have a feeling they use, Instead of FICO, the Vintage credit score wich in most cases much lower, again Toyota advertises FICO!!!
