Complaint: Toyota Financial needs to update their dialer before contacting customers - I was inadvertently late on a car payment due to being out of town - I immediately paid upon return and still getting calls after making an online payment - I even rechecked the website to ensure it was processed, and it 's showing up Paid and Approved as of yesterday. I just registered my number on the DONOTCALL.gov website to stop the harassing calls - this is upsetting and unnecessary.

Complaint: In a recent review of my credit report ( XXXX XXXX ) I noticed Toyota Motor Credit Corporation added inaccurate information to a trade line on my credit report that had previously been listed as paid and closed for the past five years. During my annual review of my credit report back in XXXX XXXX, I inquired about the TMCC account still remaining on my credit report after ten years and requested information be provided to validate the accuracy of the trade line and/or have it removed. Upon my request from the credit bureaus for information regarding the validity of the trade line, I was prompted to start and open an investigation per the credit bureau protocol re : the TMCC trade line. After providing the necessary information to the credit bureaus to assist with the TMCC investigation, I was given a file confirmation number as well as a tentative date when I could expect the investigation to be completed. XX/XX/XXXX I received documentation from XXXX credit bureau ( XXXX ) that the TMCC investigation had been completed and new information had been provided to update my credit report. Upon reviewing the updated information I received in the mail from XXXX re : the TMCC investigation, I became aware of the inaccurate information that TMCC had provided to the credit bureau. In the updated information TMCC provided to the credit bureau ( XXXX ) TMCC changed the {$0.00} balance paid/closed trade line that had been listed on my credit report since XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to now stating that in XXXX XXXX I owe a balance of {$9400.00} which was conflicting information previously stated on my credit report for the past five years. From XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX the TMCC trade line listed a {$0.00} balance paid/closed. The new information that TMCC provided to the credit bureau was completely conflicting and contradictory from the previous information TMCC had listed on the trade line for the past five years. After reviewing the new information TMCC had provided to the credit bureau in response to the investigation, I immediately contacted the credit bureau ( XXXX ) informing them of the discrepancy and inquiring about what action I can take to have this TMCC trade line discrepancy rectified. During my conversation with the credit bureau rep, I inquired as to what information TMCC provided to validate the new information? The credit bureau rep replied that no hard copies of any sort with my signature or any tangible documentation was provided for validation. The only response from TMCC for the new information TMCC provided to the credit bureau was that was the information TMCC had on file in their computer system regarding my account. I questioned the legality of the investigation and how it was possible for TMCC to suddenly have information in their computer system in XX/XX/XXXX stating that I owe a balance of {$9400.00} when from XXXX/XXXX/XXXX ( listed on my XXXX XXXX XXXX report and on my XXXX XXXX XXXX report ) to my inquiry in XXXX XXXX the account had shown {$0.00} balance and current/paid/closed. I also informed the credit bureau rep that I had requested a payment account history from TMCC back in XXXX XXXX and I was told by TMCC that no information was on file in their computer system for my past account and there was no information TMCC could provide me at the time of my request in XXXX XXXX. After further discussing the outcome of the TMCC investigation with the credit bureau rep, and being informed by the credit bureau rep that the credit bureau was unable to assist me further ; I felt the only other recourse I had was to reach out to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for assistance with this TMCC matter.

Complaint: We received a loan to purchase a car through Toyota Financial Services. - First payment was received by Toyota on XX/XX/XXXX - Shortly thereafter I called to have the payment date extended to the XXXX of each month. The gentleman I was speaking to said we had to sign a form. I told him we were leaving on XX/XX/XXXX and wold not be back until XX/XX/XXXX. He said he would either email it or fax it ( I do not remember which ). - The required form did not arrive so several days later I called Toyota and a woman helped me said I did not need to sign a form and that she could change the date. - XX/XX/XXXX we received a collection call from Toyota. when I spoke to the person told me not only did we have to sign a form must now pay Toyota {$28.00} or {$29.00} for Toyota to do their job and change our payment date ( first we have been told about this ). Basically I was told " too bad so sad you are now past due and we are not going to the right, ethical or moral thing and change the payment date retroactively. - I then made several calls - all of which my phone dropped due to the bad reception. - Finally I got through to someone who put me in touch with someone who said they could help - then my phone dropped the call again. - When we returned home there was a form from Toyota for us to sign that was mailed after our departure date - of which they had been made aware.. - Long story short - I have made repeated calls but still can not get this straight. Each call the holding times have been from 8 to 20 min hold time and when I am put through to a supposed " Resolution Specialist '' one waits another 15 to 30 minutes to speak with them.

Complaint: We purchased a Lexus in XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX miles allowed on a 2 year lease. XX/XX/XXXX, my family encountered a hardship which we realized that we would need to use the car more than anticipated. We walked into the Lexus dealership and spoke with a financial rep. We explained our situation and asked if it would be possible to purchase extra miles or negotiate the contract. The rep told us that it will be possible to purchase more milage and to continue driving the car. So we drove the car and are now at XXXX miles. I called Lexus financial and was advised that buying milage was not possible and that there is nothing they can do to help. I attempted to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on 3 times attempting to be transferred. The last rep stated that they have been having trouble with their phone lines and the last rep XXXX had notated that the line had hung up. I am still waiting for a supervisor to call back. I understand we had a contract but we would have never gone over our miles if we had known that buying milage was not an option. I keep telling Lexus that I want to buy another Lexus and would like them to work with us with the overage on the milage. All they say is that we do n't have the capability to negotiate anything. I cant believe how they treat their loyal customers. I really want to purchase another Lexus since my lease is up in XX/XX/XXXX but if were being lied to about our options and playing the he said she said game then i will never step foot into another Lexus dealership. This is fraud and misrepresentation. Please help us negotiate our overage, I am a XXXX and do not have the money to afford what has happened. I am willing to pay half and get this nightmare over with. Please help me.

Complaint: I had a lease with Toyota, for a Toyota Camry XXXX, starting in XXXX XXXX thru XXXX XXXX. My wife is the primary driver and soon after getting the Camry, we wanted to trade the Camry back in and get something that sat a little higher up and would be better in the winter time. Between XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, my wife or I went back to try to work a deal out with Toyota for getting another vehicle, and each time Toyota wanted {$75.00} - XXXX/month more for a vehicle, which was out of my budget. I finally went to XXXX and worked a deal for a XXXX Rogue in XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX agreed to pay the Camry off in full and return the car to Toyota, the XXXX salesperson called Toyota financial for a vehicle payoff amount and Camry was paid off. In XXXX XXXX, Toyota sent me a bill for a month 's payment, which was XXXX and a Disposition fee of {$350.00}, which Toyota claimed to be paid by XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I did not pay it, and am filing this claim because Toyota will end up sending the bill to collections.

Complaint: In 2014 I entered into a lease with XXXX and over my time with the lease I have spoken with many peers and individuals who have pointed out the exorbitant rate I am paying for my car lease relative to others with comparable means. My credit score was " good '' at the time of purchase and I traded in a car as down payment. The only remaining conclusion is that I am the victim of their predatory lending practices, as I am sure many others from the neighboring working class community have been. Despite bringing this to the attention of XXXX and Toyota Financial and offering opportunities to rectify the problem with a new, more appropriate lease based on my history with their financial institution they continue to offer no resolution.

Complaint: I leased a car from Toyota with Toyota Financial Services providing the funding. At the end of the lease I turned in the car, confirmed all XXXX payments had been made and was told via their customer service line that, despite the webpage showing another payment was due in one month, I would not be charged as I had complete all of my obligations. However, one month later the payment was taken from my checking account. I called the customer service line again, they agreed to refund the money via a check ( meaning I 'd have to wait a week or more to have my money back ), but that the error was mine not theirs. The customer service representative said that it was my fault this occurred because I did not login to the website and direct them to not take any further payments. The customer service representative told me I should have been provided a prompt when I accessed the webpage, but I did not and the previous customer service representative did not say I needed to perform any such action. In my opinion this is stealing and Toyota Financial Services profits off of people who may not manage their checking account as closely as I do. Once the obligation of the consumer is completed I believe the lender also has an obligation to ensure the consumer is protected.

Complaint: Hi, I " Bought Out '' My lease from Toyota Finance about 2 months ago. Toyota then sent me a copy of my title, which had a section on the back filled out incorrectly ( The Agent that was filling this out, stamped the " tax '' section with an incorrect number, and then wrote over the number with the correct number ) When I took this to the NJ DMV, they rejected it because they claimed that no numbers can be scratched out or altered. They however stated that the Tax Stamp could be correctly reapplied to the front of the document and that a new Title was not required in this situation. I figured, " no worries, mistakes happen '' and sent this back to Toyota Financing informing them of what the DMV Manager stated, and specifically stated that Toyota Need Not send a new Title, but correct the mistake. Toyota however, completely ignored my message and shredded my title, ordering a new one from the DMV. This process has taken over 5 weeks and no communication has been made from Toyota as to when I can expect this new Title to get mailed to me or what the status is. When I call, they can not give me an update. XXXX XXXX ( The New Lender Who Bought the Loan ) is stating now that I am in violation of the terms of the loan agreement since the Title information has not been updated to reflect them as the new accountholder, and to update this ASAP. Toyota really dropped the ball on this one, and I am now requesting the CFPB step in and ensure that a new title was actually ordered by Toyota, and get an exact delivery date for this new Title.

Complaint: Funding at Toyota Financial Services in XXXX, XXXX. We are in charge of reviewing the lease agreements and contracts that come in from XXXX customers who buy or lease a vehicle. Within the State of XXXX, consumers are given a trade in sales tax credit for their prior owned or leased trades. XX/XX/2015 Toyota got word that the WI tax rules had changed but did not update their systems. When calculating the taxes, myself and a few others noticed that XXXX dealerships, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX of XXXX and XXXX of XXXX had their customer 's taxes coming in at lower amounts. Upon further review, we discovered that it was because those dealers had updated their systems to reflect the new tax laws. This means that a new tax calculation worksheet needs to be created. It was, however was only used for those XXXX dealers. The rest of the dealers use the old one. This did not sit well with me and I provided examples to management who admitted that there was disparate treatment due to the fact that if you purchase or lease from any other dealer, you would be paying more per month in monthly sales taxes than if you were to pay at XXXX of these XXXX dealers. It is now a year and a half later and the dealers have not been instructed to update their systems and I have constantly been told that more information is coming. I am told we will be discussing this soon. In the meantime deals are being booked everyday under management 's eye knowing that there is disparate treatment being done in the State of XXXX. You have tax XXXX worksheets being done and if you are unlucky enough to buy from another dealer, you may be paying more per month in sales taxes. I am no longer employed by the company however, just as I did when I was employed, I knew this was wrong and I brought it to their attention. Now that I am free from speaking out against them per policy, this is to help all the people in WI know that us other small people are on their side and we do try. Corporate America just does not care.

Complaint: Toyota sent me a letter XXXX XXXX stating that they would remove negative credit reporting that occurred on my account in XXXX XXXX. I co signed on a car loan with someone and through no fault of my own the payments were late and I was never notified of this serious delinquency, until after the negative credit reporting already occured. Despite Toyota having my phone number and home address, they chose to send me a letter more than 2 months after the account went delinquent, thus not allowing me to speak to the cosigner, or if necessary make the payments myself to get the account current. Toyota gives me this letter, advising that they were removing the marker, but the marker is never removed and on top of that, they then report me XXXX 60 days, despite the letter saying that they were taking off the 30 day and that I had no other negative reporting. I have attempted to resolve this with them to no avail for almost 6 months, and they refuse to do what I have in writing that they said they were going to do. This have severly impacted my credit and I want them to honor what they said they would do in writing. This car loan is almost paid off, and it 's unacceptable that they send me a letter that says this, then refuse to do it.
