Complaint: To whom It may concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint against Toyota Financial and XXXX XXXX Dealership. In XXXX 2015 my family and I were the victims of predatory lending. We went to XXXX XXXX to find a family sized vehicle and unfortunately were told we had some negative equity that would make it nearly impossible to finance a vehicle. The salesman and sales manager insisted that if we went through their bank " Toyota Financial '' no matter the amount of negative equity, they would be able to push it through and make the deal work. At the time we were very vulnerable and the salespeople and managers at XXXX XXXX saw that and immediately took advantage of a young family and our situation. Since we leased the vehicle in XXXX 2015 we have been under a severe amount of stress trying to make the XXXX XXXX car payment each month. We have been late a few times but try our hardest not to be since we do want to maintain our decent credit. On XXXX separate occasions I contacted Toyota Financial AND XXXX XXXX to explain to them that I could no longer afford the vehicle. Toyota Financial explained to me that my only option would be to find someone that could take over the lease. This would be impossible to do considering the monthly payment. When I spoke with the dealership directly they were very frank, rude and defensive and told me if I brought the car back it would be marked on our credit as a repossession. I am writing you in one very last desperate attempt to get help as I have exhausted all other options. My family and I are victims of a monster sized companies Toyota Financial and XXXX XXXX preying on vulnerable families. I know for a fact we were victims of the following : Predatory Lending Over Excessive charges and Fees And a violation of the Truth and Lending Act I have gone to both parties and expressed my inability to continue to pay the high car payment each month and they have not given me any reasonable options. As a result of their refusal to help me I have no other choice but to file this formal complaint with you.

Complaint: My Toyota dealer ( XXXX Toyota ) called and offered me a new car if I turned in my leased car early. They said there would be no penalty for doing so. So I agreed and the dealer took care of all the details. I have been in touch with the dealer and they are unwilling to do anything to help me out of this mess. I got the new car and am now paying {$340.00} per month on the new lease. However, the finance company claims that the loan was not satisfied completely because the car did not sell for the amount they needed at auction. What does this have to do with me, I do not know? In the meantime, Toyota Finance has turned this over to a collection agency who harass me and my wife night and day. We are XXXX and XXXX years old and do not need this at this time in our lives. I think we have been taken advantage of by the dealer first, and then by the finance company. It is a good thing that I am not in the market for a house since I 'm sure that this is not looking good on my current credit report. It has been stellar up to this point. How can I get these people off my back? I am not responsible for this money and the dealer says he sent the finance the correct paperwork a long time ago. But I am the one being harassed. He apparently ca n't be bothered to look into it for me. Please help.

Complaint: I purchased XXXX Toyota Truck on XX/XX/XXXX. i finance my vehicle from Toyota Financial services. my regular monthly payment $ {$620.00}. I was paying my monthly payment regularly. I do have documents. I made a future payment with Toyota financial on XX/XX/XXXX. Toyota financial took XX/XX/XXXX payment and future payments until XX/XX/XXXX. They withdraw {$2500.00}. After they withdrew this amount i called customer service. they did not return excess amount of payment. They said they send check to me which they did not. After calling and discuss with my account they send me amount of {$620.00}. i deposit this check and this check returned. My bank charged to my account {$35.00} return deposit fee. Also I got called from Toyota financial service customer service, get humiliated by them. They told me that they will repossess my vehicle. I could not resolve my issues or get any help from them. I asked them please send me ledger of account and checks that they send me. they said they can not provide proof of check they send me. Additional of everything they made my credit rating low. This is a very bad practice. Their system shows wrong amount of mature date payments. For example ; your loan payment due date of XXXX of every month. if you made a payment on XXXX which next day of original payment date ; they will collect from your account future payment ( which not is not due ) together with current month payment without your knowledge. If you have any questions or proof of payment please do not hesitate to contact with me.

Complaint: THIS IS MY SECOND COMPLAINT AGAINST TOYOTA FINANCIAL. The response received on the first complaint DID NOT address the issue, and they are not taking responsibility. Because of this, they have placed my family in a HUGE financial bind. I am due with baby in three months and need this resolved before then so that my husband can get a job. I had/have attached a copy of the backup I have from TFS proving they are at fault. I have XXXX additional letters that are the same. They are stating they have no records of these. ORIGINAL POST : My husband and I had an auto loan with Toyota Financial Services since 2010. It has since been paid in full as of this year. Our credit history with them has been nothing less of perfection up until the last few months of the loan. There were several attempts on our end to make payments electronically as we had been for years. We received letters from Toyota Financial ( XXXX of them ) apologizing for not being able to process our payments, even though funds were available. Due to this technical issue, our account became delinquent and recorded at 90 days late. Toyota Financial was able to remove XXXX, but pointed us to the direction of their credit repair department ( whom you can not speak with and can only submit letters to ) Out of desperation, we wrote to them and apologized for the issue, though not being our fault at all, and requested they remove the negative information as my husband is unable to obtain a qualifying job position due to his credit report ( only negative info is from XXXX ) We have been dealing with this for over 3 months now with no resolve. Now, my family is dealing with the financial burdens of my husband being unable to secure a job due to this issue. We have a 17 month old daughter with another on the way expected in 4 months time.

I went to finance a car from XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Nj and they ran my credit report to approve my financing for the vehicle. They out XXXX hard inquiries on my credit report without my authorization while i have the documented proof that I only allowed them once to run my credit report. They ran it XXXX without authorization and put XXXX hard inquiries on it which led my credit to drop from XXXX to XXXX within a month, first from XXXX to XXXX and then from XXXX to XXXX.

Complaint: - Vehicle lease opened XXXX. Never paid late! - No fault accident XXXX/XXXX/2016 caused a total loss and i contacted Lexus Financial. I was advised that Gap Insurance & Wear & Tear Refund would kick in if insurance did not cover payoff in full. - XXXX/XXXX/16 signed new vehicle lease ( also w/Lexus Financial ). - XXXX week of XXXX, received letter from Lexus Financial, dated XXXX/XXXX/2016, stating that there were {$280.00} due, that XXXX paid XXXX, leaving a balance. - Immediately contacted Lexus Financial ( Toyota Financial Services ). requested explanation of the amount. was advised that progressive paid short. I advised them that the letter was just received and requested time to deal XXXX. - Received explanation of short pay from progressive but, XXXX used to insure this vehicle and for a previous claim, they refused to replace a part and dictated that the part be fixed and repainted. During my conversation with XXXX, I learned that the rason they paid XXXX short was the very fact that the part was not replaced but repainting was obvious. I requested that I be put in touch w/their Regional Mgr. Unfortunate phone tagging resulted. - Within this same time period, less than 10 days after my response to Lexus Financial requesting time to determine what was going on with XXXX, Lexus Financial Charged the entire remaining lease amount of {$9700.00} off as BAD DEBT. Reports that the last payment was in XXXX. That the first delinquency occurred in XXXX. The only reason I know is because i have XXXX monitoring. I immediately opened a dispute with XXXX. Contacted Lexus Financial and paid the shortpaid amount XXXX via check by phone. I requested XXXX 's proof of payment. Lexus Financial was paid {$31000.00} by XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/2016. Gap insurance & wear and tear refund kicked in. The only outstanding balance was the short payment. They sent a letter dated XXXX/XXXX/2016 that was not received until mid XXXX, after which I immediately engaged with XXXX. The entire lease was charged off as bad debt charge in the amount of {$9700.00}. I was hoping it would get corrected, that it was an oversight. Lexus financial, XXXX, advised that a manager would contact me in 24-48 hours - this did not happen. They, a representative by the name of XXXX and apparently a supervisor, advised that someone would contact me with the breakdown of how they arrived at charging the entire lease off as bad debt - this did not happen. The credit dispute with XXXX, confirmation # XXXX, did not get it corrected. The amount was changed from {$9700.00} to zero, but the charge off remains under negative accounts, with an XXXX 2016 delinquency and a last payment received of XXXX 2016. This details me as a person who defaulted on their auto lease starting in XXXX / XXXX of 2016 and it shows a charge off, without any mention that this is an insurance settlement, short payment, settled in full, without any timely notification, and a hasty charge off despite a consumer 's calling in within the 20 days of receipt of the letter and despite the fact that the letter did not get into the mail when it was dated, as it arrived almost 2 weeks later. I have sent a letter to Lexus ' / Toyota 's credit dispute center. It is also attached. This is absolutely misrepresenting me as someone who did not pay an auto lease. it is devastating to my credit. and absolutely incorrect.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I called Toyota Financial Services to discuss my lease end options. At that time, I was told by a manager within the Customer Loyalty Team, that since I had XXXX Toyotas in a row, that my disposition fee at lease-end could be waived. I was told that all I had to do was call in to request this, after I received my final bill. Since that time ( see letter ), I have spoken to XXXX-XXXX people in various departments, had to explain my issue each time as I was blind transferred, have been hung up on, talked over, and interrupted. I have been told that if the fee waiver had been notated on the account then it could easily be adjusted, or that if only this was my XXXX Toyota - than they could waive my fee. I have even had my integrity questioned. Requests to speak to a Manager were denied, manager callbacks were promised and never occurred, and the one person who I spoke with that actually acknowledged themselves as a Manager provided the worst service of them all. I am only seeking Toyota Financial Services stand behind what one of their leaders told me would happen, and they waive my disposition fee. I have asked them to locate and review the call ( outbound call to me in XX/XX/XXXX ) and was told that not all calls are recorded. I was assured the fee could be waived, and now nobody wants to stand up and do the right thing. Had I known this, I may have decided to trade the vehicle in, as opposed to ground it - as a point of reference, the car was a XXXX mi lease with only XXXX miles on it, worth more than the residual.

I was told when i bought my XXXX Rav4 in 2015 from XXXX Toyota in order for them to give me a loan i also had to purchase some other packages. I am a XXXX female and went to the dealership alone.
