Complaint: I leased a XXXX XXXX years ( XX/XX/2013 ) on a lease term of XXXX per month for 36 months or XXXX miles. Since I used up the miles in XX/XX/XXXX this year, I returned the car to the dealership where I leased the car. I asked the dealership " I am not early terminating the lease but I have used up the miles and I do n't need the car anymore ; what should I do? '' The dealership checked the car and let me signed off the mileage, and told me I just keep paying the monthly lease payment until the end of the lease and I will be done with the contract.
So I returned the car to the dealer and I continued to pay my monthly lease payment on my Toyota Financial Services account. Up until I paid my XX/XX/XXXX lease payment, everything was fine. My account showed I have XXXX more payment of XXXX left on my lease and I owed XXXX balance in XX/XX/XXXX.
When I went to pay my last payment of XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, however, my account vanished. The website says I do n't have an account with XXXX.
Next I received a horrifying bill of {$3300.00} from XXXX, claiming that as an Early Termination Statement. They charge XXXX times of what my last month payment because I " voluntarily early terminated '' the lease.
I called the Toyota Financial Services, they refused to either make adjustment or let me contact with whoever responsible to make adjustment except trying to throw me to a collection agent.
I went to the dealership, they are willing to help but they say they can not make adjustment so they need the financial service to tell them what they need to do to help us. So I called XXXX XXXX again asking what they need the dealership to do to prove that I never early terminate the lease and the dealership instructed me to keep paying the lease monthly as usual then I will be done.XXXX Services again refused to provide any information except throw me to a collection agent.
I hope to get in touch with Toyota Financial Services so they could provide me the correct bill that I could pay. I am not responsible for a {$3300.00} early termination bill.

Complaint: In 2009 I bought a new Scion XD from a Toyota dealership in XXXX, CA. I ended up paying cash for this vehicle, but the dealership never remove the financing options from my contract. Thus, when the title was created it was sent to Toyota Motor Credit Corporation. When Toyota Motor Credit Corp. realized they did not have a lean against my car and received my title by mistake, they mailed it back to the same dealership I purchased the car from without notifying me of the mistake or making any corrections with the DMV. In the seven years I owned the car, I never received any letters in the mail or a phone call or e-mails about needing to make any corrections either. Recently my car was involved in a XXXX. I was XXXX. My vehicle was totaled and while trying to settle with XXXX I was informed that I still had a lean against my car by Toyota Motor Credit Corp. I was then told that I would need to correct this issue first before I could receive any money for my totaled car. I am a struggling XXXX who works almost six days a week with XXXX and correcting this mistake took me over four days of driving to the dealership, a visit to the DMV, waiting for a loan release form to come in the mail, and paying shipping XXXX fees which the dealership did not want to pay ( even though this was totally their mistake. ) The dealership is now saying my original contract has disappeared since it has been so long, providing no real proof that I did or did not pay cash in the first place. Yet the Toyota XXXX dealership did call Toyota Motor Credit Corp and confirmed there was no lean on the car. The Toyota dealer/Toyota Motor Credit Corp. had no remorse of any kind for the inconvenience, hassle, and possible damage to my credit over all these years. In fact, I was told at the Toyota XXXX dealership that this happens all the time! I do n't think this is fair and/or right considering all I did was give them over XXXX and be a loyal customer.
Thank you, XXXX XXXX

Complaint: Leased a 2013 Toyota Camry from Toyota/XXXX Toyota XXXX for 3 years, then purchased same vehicle. I was charged a total of {$560.00} for retitle of this vehicle, it was already titled, registered and insured XXXX, but dealership insisted that it be retitled first XXXX, then again XXXX resulting in fees totaled {$280.00}, but {$560.00} was added to my new loan. I have repeated requested a refund of the overcharge of almost {$250.00}, but still want to know if it was legitimate to insist on a whole new title and tag, or could it just have been a transfer of some sort. Toyota still maintains title to the car

Complaint: I had purchased a vehicle with XXXX XXXX Toyota on XXXX XXXX. The sales agent was XXXX XXXX. I purchased the vehicle with a gold level vehicle service agreement where toyota would do a XXXX oil change and fix any engine and transmission problem with the vehicle like an insurance policy. I moved from XXXX to XXXX after doing XXXX oil change and contacted XXXX Toyota that I would need to cancel the service agreement because I no longer lived in XXXX. I was advised that I would need to send a signed letter agreeing to terminate the service. I went to the dealer ( XXXX XXXX Toyota ) and handed over the signed letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX. The sales rep told me that I will not be refunded the balance but any refund amount will be applied to the principle and there would be no changes to the monthly payment amount. The total refund was calculated to be {$2400.00} was told that it will be applied to principle balance on XXXX XXXX.
However, this refund was never applied to the original balance. I contacted Toyota on XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX but this payment was never applied. I contacted XXXX Toyota and the dealer claimed that they never received the letter of cancellation and the policy was already expired and there will be no refund. I did n't pay rest of the balance which at the time was {$1900.00}.
I had no avenue to resolution. I re-contacted Toyota Financial on XXXX XXXX and they advised me that Dealer are independent to Toyota Financial and they are unable to contact the dealer on my behalf. I contacted XXXX Toyota again and they advised me that there is nothing they can do about this.
I ended up doing a settlement on this account because the refund from XXXX Toyota was never processed.

Complaint: Hello, Last year around XXXX I requested a due date change. The first attempt was unsuccessful, and prior to the second attempt Toyota asked that I bring my account current, so I did. A Toyota representative said the due date was completed, so I started making my payments accordingly. It was n't until mid 2016 I saw that I had 3 late payment markers. I immediately called Toyota and their resolution specialist walked me through every payment from the beginning. We found out that Toyota failed to mention that the due date change did n't take effect. So I wrote Toyota twice. They denied me twice. Toyota does n't have a number to call to talk about your claim. I 've tried explaining what happen in a letter and again they denied me twice. And because they did n't tell me the due date change did n't take effect, I do n't have access to their personal information.

Complaint: i leased a car a year and a half ago as i heard they have amazing cars, someone ran a stop sign and hit my car declaring it a total loss- all the money i got from that accident went straight to toyota to pay off my lease - when i went in to get a new car i was denied because of how low my credit was .... i was surprised i always checked on my credit regularly and last time i checked i had a score of over XXXX which is considered fair, i have NEVER PAYED ANYTHING LATE. I ask why my credit was that low and they tell me its because toyota put on my credit report that i made XXXX late payments -- - i was aware of this mistake in their system but i spoke with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX and i was told the problem was fixed and wouldnt cause any issues. Two days ago I go into toyota explaining the issue and telling them that i need a car and due to a mistake their system made i am unable to get one anywhere else so although i am disgusted with their company i am back for another car, they did not care. I was told i would need XXXX XXXX dollars down When i tried to further contact toyota we were hung up on multiple times resulting in a four hour phone call.
