Complaint: I had a Toyota Corolla leased with Toyota Motor Credit Corporation. The vehicle was returned on XXXX/XXXX/2015 and I drive a XXXX now, that i have with TMCC employee lease program. I have received several phone calls from a debt collectors named XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX at my job and at my cell phone during work hours after requesting the company to stop harassing me as my vehicle was returned and no debt remained. I have sent several documentation that my husband and I drive a vehicle thru TMCC and pay for it and i was told that if you trade a Toyota car for another one, that any fees would be waived. Once all my information was sent and calls stopped. Months later, I received another call from a different agency. I have never received any responses or letters in months since XX/XX/XXXX - I received a collections call on XX/XX/XXXX about this debt once again after i sent information and gave proof I was a driver of a Lexus, along with a copy of my driver 's license and my husband 's and mine and the new vehicle contract. I should not be receiving phone calls after asking for the calls to stop, and after proving.

Complaint: NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF THIS GREAT NATION THE CONSUMERS HAVE BEEN CHEATED, EXPLOITED AND SWINDLED LIKE THEY ARE BEING DONE TODAY AND THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A GREATER NEED THAN TODAY, FOR NEW CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS. - " VOICE OF AN AVERAGE AMERICAN '' On XXXX XXXX, 2015, I with my nephew went to Texas Toyota of XXXX of XXXX, Texas. After some negotiation with the salesman, my nephew was able to negotiate the price of the car, but the salesman was not willing to go below 2.9 % interest on the pretext that although I have excellent credit, but there is no past history of car loan, so this makes me a first time buyer for car loan, and hence I am not eligible for 0 %. Since I had checked the interest rate with my bank which was offering 3.9 % interest and comparatively the dealership was offering me 2.9 %, so I decided to go ahead with the dealership. The salesman left us for few minutes and returned back and told us that I have been approved but the total interest amount {$1600.00} (@2.9 % X 60 months ) will be rolled into the total price of the vehicle and that amount will be financed by Toyota Financial @ 0 % and this will not change my monthly payment which will still remain {$380.00} per month and the 60 months terms will not change too. I am an average American with no financial background or education and like most average American I understand or have aptitude for basic maths only and based on this I felt it is ok since my monthly payment amount and 60 months terms does not change. Later, I had an acquaintance with financial background to review the documents the sale. The review by this person revealed : 1. It seems very unusual and unheard practice adopted by the finance company and or the car dealership, when a buyer have been approved for 2.9 % interest for 60 months term and then the car dealership prepares the financing contract based on 0 % interest for the Finance Company, and having the total interest amount {$1600.00} (@2.9 % X 60 months ) rolled into sale price of the vehicle and then include this interest amount into the total amount financed, and do not itemized separately, the interest amount in the Purchase Agreement, so apparently it can pass off undetected. 2. In the event I paid off the loan earlier, I will be paying the interest even for the period I will not be in financing and at that point the rate of interest will result into much higher rate of interest and not 2.9 % as it seems today. This will not happen if the the financing contract documents had been prepared based on 2.9 % interest. 3. By rolling the interest amount into the sale price of the car, has resulted into an about additional {$100.00} sales tax overcharged to me, whereas the interest is non-taxable. So to get further clarifications, I contacted Toyota Financial. The CSR of Toyota Financial informed me that based on my credit, I was indeed approved and financed for 0 % interest for 60 months term, and in the event if I was approved for 2.9 % interest then the financing contract documents would have been prepared at 2.9 % interest and not 0 % interest and when I make my monthly payments the interest would be paid first and then the balance amount would be applied to my outstanding principal amount each and every month and in the event I paid off the loan earlier I do not have to pay the interest for the remaining months I am not into financing as I have paid off the outstanding balance and this is the practice followed by Toyota Financial and moreover the CSR informed me that Toyota Financial do not have the practice of having the car dealership to roll into the sale price of the car, the total interest amount for the whole term of financing period and then financing the interest. At this point it was indeed very clear to me that I have been a target of deceptive financing practice by this car dealership during this transaction. Thank you.

Complaint: Hi, I have submitted a complaint previously regarding my issues with Toyota Financial. I was paying a XXXX car payment on a XXXX. I was told I could refinance in few months. Well I did try 6months or so into the loan and lenders told me that 's insane, I had said this in my previous complaints with. Along with they said I can defer a payment, said they did it and I said it does n't show up, and I also explained the women had told my I needed to sign a secure message through her email, well after a few phone calls,, few weeks, months later no deferral, and I 'm argue other issues, double dipping payments on my account. On my daughters birthday, that wasted our time to sign, investigate, and reverse my money. It 's a constant run around Just nasty collection calls, and called me the day a XXXX payment came out and the women called me lier in many words just in my detail with questions, telling me does n't show, and said that 's not possible as I 'm not set up for auto pay. I said XXXX, no reason to lie, I can not talk, I 'm a XXXX and the safety of these kids is priority, she continued to keep asking for a payment, I h a d to han up on her. The latest, I received a bill through mail, that my car payments due XXXX no mention of a repo. From the looks of it, I would never have thought a repo was going to take place, as I been paying on time XXXX a month. They were also I 'm formed on many occasions I I 'm SSD and my pay is every XXXX of month. I also mentioned This up coming payment was going to come out of my previous checking account which is XXXX as I was back banking with them. Well I 'll attach my statement. Tuesday, my car was pulled from my driveway a repossession. After crying, and all that pain, heartache in any situation when your property Is taken and as the communication is there on my end, on Toyotas end it was just a nasty experience. I Call I explain my daughters coats are in trunk I really need my stuff. I said I have a bill. They said I can not pay that amount to get the car back I must pay the entire XXXX plus the guy told me. I said if I had XXXX grand in my back pocket, I would n't be late be on payments. It was just extremely hurtful, stressful and I 'm very tired of being taking advantage of. The repo guy was the most helpful, very comforting to say the least. He had told me he just got the call the night before to come for my car. It just blows my mind that this companies rob individuals everyday, such as myself to keep their accounts up. Well I had enough of doing without because they plot out who they cheat. No so let 's fix this

Complaint: I had a toyota XXXX on lease since XX/XX/XXXX. I was three months behind.I called XXXX to verify a check was being sent out on XXXX for {$670.00} from my church. The guy noted my account. But noted it wrong, said I told him my church was paying pay due amount which would of been {$1000.00}. I never stated that. On XXXX I called to let Toyota know the check was in its way N I wanted to make a payment to being my account current. They said we are only excepting cash through XXXX XXXX or atm ... I said ok I want to pay the XXXX since the check is already in its way. They said no we ca n't except the check you need to call the church to put a stop payment on it. I said excuse me, that 's crazy. She said you should reach out to family and friends for help.So I called my mom got the money its still the XXXX, I call back to make the full payment of XXXX $ the lady said no we are not taking any payments, I said what why not you Told me to call when I had the money, I 'm calling. She then put it in repo status. which is crazy when I was paying with a debit card. I called the next day on XXXX n tried to make the payment thinking I would get someone else nope same person and still would n't take a payment, there was no reason as to why she would n't take the payment. On XX/XX/XXXX my car was repoed I called and asked why they said because you failed to make payments or to bring it up to date with payments. I said excuse need I have been in contact with you since XXXX n before that date ... .. Now they want me to pay the full amount of the vehicle which is XXXX $ Which makes no sense cause I was trying since the XXXX to bring it to a XXXX balance and the customer service reps kept telling me no they not taking a payment ... Now how is this even right too tell someone no if the car want in repo status but then repo the car n ask for the whole purchase price when it 's a lease? I do n't understand as to why I was denied a payment give days straight, I understand I had difficulty paying but it 's not like I totally avoided them I was in contact with them monthly and if not weekly ...

Complaint: I got into a collision with my brand new 2 months XXXX XXXX. My XXXX XXXX insurance called the car being totaled so they were getting information with XXXX XXXX for the payoff amount. Since it was only 2 months old, I understood that the car was upside down, so I would need to come up with some money to settle the whole thing, which was also what XXXX XXXX Claim adjuster said to me as well. I thought since I was getting another Toyota, I could negotiate that part when I get the new car. However, a few days later, my Claim adjuster came back and said good new, Toyota accepted their pay off amount and I was actually going to get a little money back even after XXXX XXXX taking my deductible. I was happy, signed the paper work with XXXX XXXX, got the check and I went and leased another Toyota Prius, because I needed a car. Almost 1 month later, I received a letter from Toyota Finance saying that I owe them money because the settlement was not enough to pay off my lease. And they were going to charge off that amount and report to the credit reporting agencies. I talked to XXXX XXXX, and they gave me the letter that Toyota Finance accepting the settlement. XXXX XXXX said that Toyota should not go after me for the difference, since they already settled the account and released the title. I talked to Toyota Finance, but they still demanded the money or they would report me. I knew about the difference, and was going to negotiate it with Toyota when I was going to get the XXXX Prius. But since they told XXXX XXXX that they accepted it, and XXXX XXXX even thought the whole thing was closed, and wrote me a check, I did not negotiate that part of the difference when I leased a new car. What Toyota did, accepting first and went after me later, took away my chance of negotiating, which was really unfair. Now the fact that they are demanding the difference in full with no opportunity for me to ask for a discount or payment plan is really predatory practice. Please help.
