Complaint: In XXXX 2015 we recieved a call from an agent at XXXX - XXXX California advising that they are calling all existing lessors that are near expriration to participate in their early return and exchange program and to bring the car for inspection to qualify. I had a XXXX month lease and it will be up in about 5 months. That following week after we got the call, we decided to bring the car in and get it inspected to see if it would qualify into their early return and exchange program. We waited in the dealership while the car is being checked and several hours after that the agent came back and advised us that everything is good and the car was inspected and checked and it is qualified for the said program and that we can select another car or a totally different car and they will take care of terminating the existing lease and the remaining lease and terms.
We had chosen to upgrade from a XXXX to an XXXX and they asked us to pay for the additional funds to get to the chosen car and we then went on to sign up for a new lease and this time for more monthly payment. We ere coming from a an almost double the monthly payment from $ XXXX monthly to {$680.00} monthly. We paid the additional required down payment, signed the new lease and we drove out with the XXXX.
Four months later, we received a call from someone at XXXX XXXX advising us that we owe them over {$3000.00} for excess mileage. and we argued to them that we do not believe it so because the dealership did not adrress it then in XXXX 2015 when we exchanged the XXXX to the new XXXX into their so called early return and exchange program and their inspecttion should have addressed that before we even get lured into signing for a new lease. Had we known that then, we should not have gotten into their bait and switch and that they are misleading the consumers and come back to it after the fact and almost to a point of no recourse.
Honestly, our original plan was to keep the XXXX hybrid lease because of low fuel consumption and we would have gotten it re-written to a purchase but because we were misled the other way, they had induced us to sign up for a lease that is from a {$390.00} to a {$680.00} monthly and they are asking us to pay {$3700.00} thru a collection agency - XXXX XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ext XXXX as per letter recived from XXXX XXXX of this outfit.

Complaint: I have repeatedly asked Toyota why my lease payment changed from {$390.00} to {$400.00} and also to waive accumulated late charges on account totalling {$420.00}. Complaint: I would like to file a formal complaint against Toyota Financials for mishandling consumer information and also for illegal business practices.
On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I applied to lease a XXXX Toyota XXXX XXXX at priority toyota of springfield. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, the application was denied by toyota financial services ( Please see attached ). When I received the denial letter, I went to the dealership to return the vehicle. This happened the day after I received the letter. Dealership refused to accept the vehicle and threatened to tow the car at my expense. Dealer printed new temporary vehicle tags that was set to expire a month from XXXX/XXXX/XXXX.
On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I called the bank to see if I could make a payment on the vehicle since the next payment was due on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Toyota financials told me that they did not have account number so I could not make a payment on the car. They told me talk to the dealership. I went to dealership to return the car since there was no financing for the car. Dealership again refused to take the car back. This time the Manager XXXX XXXX told me that he will call the towing company himself to tow the vehicle at my expense.
During this time from XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, both priority toyota and toyota financials kept checking my credit reports. They checked the credit report at least XXXX times on different dates for the same application.
On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I received a call from toyota financials telling me that my account is past due and that I should pay {$610.00} by XXXX/XXXX/XXXX or they will take legal action. I paid the {$610.00} to toyota financials on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to avoid my credit being ruined.
On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, toyota financials reported my account as 30 days past due to the credit bureaus which resulted in a XXXX point drop to my credit scores. Please see attached files.
I am appealing to the XXXX XXXX XXXX to look into this matter to see if anything can be done to help resolve this issue.
Thank you.

Complaint: I bought a XXXX Toyota Prius XX/XX/XXXX. I have tried over 50 times to cancel GAP insurance coverage. It is still not refunded/canceled?
I bought a XXXX Toyota Prius XX/XX/XXXX. I have tried over 50 times to cancel GAP insurance coverage. It is still not refunded/canceled? *This complaint is in now way directed at the dealership XXXX toyota of XXXX. They told me not to complain sternly. I just need GAP insurance canceled. I do n't think at this point they are sincerely trying to help. Toyota does not want to refund the GAP insurance, Tire Warranty and Life XXXX extras. I put in written, verbal, phone, XXXX, attorney general complaints, customer satisfaction case numbers, and most recently the XXXX, Amercians with XXXX act is informed of the discrimination I am receiving on the phone. You all know I have XXXX and are trolling me, stalling the refunds in a attempt to get me to go away. This is discrimination and if continued appropriate civil suites will be filed, as a third party is now documenting this abuse. on all fronts Toyota is " trolling '' me. Furthermore the XXXX complaints do n't always go through. I have also as of today not received my new car purchase survey. It should be mailed to the address on this complaint. All future correspondences should be mailed to this address, by physical mail. This is my request. I should have no extras on the account. GAP, Tire Warranty, and Life XXXX have all been requested dozen of times to be cancelled in writing. I confirmed received. Just refund the extras I didnt want already, as promised over 50 times. They keep claiming phone problems with their telephony. Please look into this and why I have not received my new car customer satisfaction survey. I have a feeling they are withholding the survey to fix their scores. I never wanted the extras, and have tried to cancel of them. Now they are just trolling me, making a joke of how long they can stall. Sincerely. refund all the money, and give me a summary of the dates and amounts. Thank you. I used to work for Toyota, their crimes are egregious to say the least, I sent the DOJ a whole dirty laundry list in XX/XX/XXXX. Please look into this, major stuff going on that needs oversight. Thank you.

Complaint: Account # XXXX. For XXXX Toyota Prius lease turned in on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Leased new car from Toyota on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Overcharged on lease turn in.
Account # XXXX. For XXXX Toyota Prius lease turned in on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I leased a new car from XXXX XXXX of XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. This complaint is not against the dealer, they were great. My complaint is with Toyota financial and the billing on the lease turn in. This was my first time leasing and I confirmed everything step by step by phone with Toyota. Furthermore I have a XXXX which I told Toyota about. They helped me with each step of the process guiding me. However I am still being billed for XXXX damages that were fixed and a disposition fee, even though I was told this should not be since I am currently leasing another Toyota Prius, but a XXXX. I am also being charged for a key fob, when I turned XXXX sets in with the leased vehicle. I had a courtesy inspection done by a nice old feller who came out to my apartment complex. I told him I had the other key upstairs and he said it was not important, do n't XXXX going to get it. I have since got it and turned it in with the XXXX Toyota Prius to XXXX of XXXX, MD. On the bill I received on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I am still being charged " Excessive Ware '' and this is listed in the amount of {$150.00}. The left dinged quarter panel is listed in the amount of {$55.00} which is not disputed. The rear bumper was fixed at XXXX XXXX of XXXX, MD by the dent and touch up guy they use on the lot for the new cars. He was highly recommended and since I paid him cash, I got a receipt. My cell phone and dash cam also show him fixing it throughout the day, as it was accidentally left recording during the fix. He also did a full touch up on the vehicle, fixing it to what I assured would pass the lease turn in inspection. I called Toyota back to do a XXXX courtesy inspection now that the fixes and all keys were together, but Toyota financial said this was not necessary or even possible. I was told several times this information would be noted to my file and a recalculation/re determination would be done on the final lease bill. I called and followed up, I also have the recorded calls and call logs. I spoke for hours regarding this and have a running tally. Last I spoke was a real nice XXXX lady, I called from cell phone : XXXX. She assured me the final bill would be reflected and noted. We talked for over an hour. I do n't know what else I can do. I hope Toyota is n't trolling me because I got a foul tone and cancelled some extras. Please remain professional and correct the bill to reflect the fixes, turned in keys and no disposition fee.
It is still clearly advertised on the Toyota website that this should be waived since I 'm in another Toyota lease, they were simply overlapped while XXXX XXXX of XXXX was finding the new XXXX vehicle, putting the tints, pinstripes on and finalizing the deal. I am also still awaiting my customer satisfaction sales survey. It should go to the address on this complaint and in the file. I have not received the survey or completed it as of today, or any surveys for my new XXXX Toyota Prius Plugin. Please direct all future mailings and correspondences to physical hard copy mail, to the address on file in this complaint. This goes to all parties. The bill should be corrected to show the accurate total of {$55.00}. I ask for courtesy and my times sake that the {$55.00} be waived as well. Thank you. Stay classy and professional Toyota.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX, 2015 Dear Federal Trade Commission, This is the problem that I am having. On XXXX XXXX, 2015, I had a wreck in my 2015 Toyota Corolla. Two weeks later forms were needed to complete the process for payment from XXXX. I had to go get an incident report, the breakdown on how XXXX insurance came up with that amount and the amount that was paid from my insurance. Okay this how it all got started. I went to Tennessee where the accident occurred and got the police report because I had all the other documents already to go. I put the documents in the mail the same day. I mailed the information XXXX. When I mailed it off I made sure that the company gets it in a couple of days. Okay I thought the process had begun until I check my credit report and I showed thirty day delinquent. So I called XXXX and asked them why have n't XXXX Toyota received the remaining balance yet from the 2015 XXXX XXXX. They stated that all the information has not been received to get the ball rolling. So I asked what other information that you are talking about. XXXX stated we are still waiting on the police report. I told them I sent it out already. We went back and forth with the same conversation. I told them I paid XXXX dollars for that incident report. I am glad I made a copy of the XXXX I had. So I sent another report out to them. I kept checking every week to see had the process begin. Still no word on when they will pay the remaining balance. So I asked do I need to pay my regular car payment so it will not go on my credit. The worker stated your case is being processed just waiting on the incident report. By that time another thirty days was approaching on my credit report. I just sit there with tears in my eyes because I knew it was nothing I could do because one thirty days had already smashed my good standing credit. I have worked so hard trying to do the right thing with my credit just for this company to give me the run around on finishing paying for the car. When you add extra coverage on your vehicle to make sure it is paid in full just in case something happen, it really happens. XXXX did n't waste any time receiving their portion of the payment every month. But when push comes to shove, they let you down. This is really upsetting to me because I pay my bills and for this to happen it is heartbreaking after I worked so hard to keep my credit in good standing. I have always paid my bills on time and XXXX acts as if credit does n't matters to them. I did have no problem paying them every month. So when I became in need, they washed me under the table. This is my first time dealing with XXXX. They did n't explain to me how the process works if an accident occur. I would n't have let this gotten to the point where it affect my good standing credit.
I really hope that you carefully look into the matter and contact me with the results.
Thanks and have a Happy Holidays.

Frequent or repeated calls
Complaint: Toyota Financial Services ( TFS ) allows its customers to pay online or by phone. I have repeatedly made payments online since I obtained this account. The website even allows you to set up dates for future payments or payment arrangements. My complaint : once a payment date is selected, TFS continues to repeatedly call my phone -- every day and every hour on the hour! I receive email documentation that the payment arrangement has been made and I can even see online that it is in progress or pending, yet these idiots keep calling me repeatedly -- even when I tell them that a payment has already been set up or arranged online. Then the representative responds -- '' let me check the system to see. '' Duh??? Well, they should be checking BEFORE they dial my number!!!! This is happening EVERY DAY and EVERY SINGLE MONTH and I want it to STOP! The PAYMENT HAS NEVER BEEN 30 DAYS LATE, so technically, TFS is not even in a position to report it to a credit bureau as such, so I do n't know why they can not update their payment and calling systems and stop calling customers to death -- particularly after a payment or payment arrangements have been made!

Complaint: I purchased a XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2015. After signing all the papers, arriving at a monthly fee of {$360.00} for 5 years, I was called back because I was told that there had been a computer " glitch '' that day and they needed to " recalculate '' my numbers. I trusted them and signed new papers which now have me paying {$380.00} monthly.
I am a XXXX yr old woman and in retrospect realize that this was seen as an opportunity to take advantage of a senior citizen.
There is also a discrepancy between what I was originally told the total cost of the car would be at {$28000.00}. With the new calculations the total cost of the car is {$33000.00}. There is a notation on the original paper that the total cost of the car is {$30000.00}. I put down {$5000.00} in cash and {$5000.00} for my XXXX trade-in.
I have XXXX account numbers with XXXX XXXX, XXXX being based on the first bill for the originally agreed monthly payment of {$360.00}. ( Which I have attached with this letter ) .The second being for the new montly fee of {$380.00}.
I am ashamed that I did not take my son with me to negotiate the buying of a car. I did take a friend. When she thought the deal was done she walked away. I was embarrassed to call her back for either of the signings. I still have not told my son.
I am so ashamed.

Complaint: I contacted Lexus Financial Services by phone XXXX prior to returning my leased XXXX XXXX to XXXX dealership in XXXX XXXX. I asked XXXX very specific questions, XXXX ) whether they sell mileage at a discounted price ( like XXXX or XXXX ), and XXXX ) if they would waive my last XXXX payments if I got another XXXX as advertised by dealership and Lexus FS. Both times I was told they did n't sell discounted mileage, and I DID qualify for payment waiver. So, based on what I was told, I leased my second XXXX XXXX before I returned my first XXXX. Today I made a courtesy call to LFS to let them know that I returned my vehicle on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and to give them heads up as far as final billing. Well, here is the surprise catch : I was still required to make the last XXXX payments of my lease contract because I DID NOT purchase my XXXX vehicle at the same time of returning the first XXXX. Did anyone EVER mention this to me as a condition for a waiver? NO, NOT EVEN THE XXXX TIME WHEN I CALLED. I asked them to pull my XXXX previous conversations, and they told me that I did not ask a specific question, therefore they gave a general answer to my general question. I do n't know how could I have possibly been more specific. Moreover, I still have to pay {$350.00} disposition fee even though I have a second XXXX because, once again, I did not obtain it at the same time of the return. I am about to have a XXXX XXXX. This is a cheap shot by LFS for a valued customer like me, who got XXXX XXXX vehicles based on their advertisement and promotion, who has a credit score over XXXX, who never had a late payment. I told them how could a dealership promise something they could n't provide? They told me they were not responsible for what dealerships promised or promoted. I asked them how was that possible, do n't dealerships act on behalf of LFS and they also follow LFS guidelines? They said they did not answer for dealerships. They follow strict guidelines and policies as far as last XXXX payments waiver promotion. This is a total absurd. Should n't they let you know when you call and as a specific question? Should n't they let you know at the dealership? I think they are so eager to sell a car at the dealership that they oversee explaining the details of ongoing promotions. As soon as you are out of the dealership, NO PROMOTIONS APPLY. This i unfair advertising practices. I am at a loss and so angry that I am going to seek legal advise as to how to return my new vehicle and simply NEVER deal with LFS again. This is such a low-balling that I am speechless. I wish I read all the bad reviews at XXXX here before I considered buying a XXXX. HORRIBLE, DISHONEST, MISGUIDING, AND CHEAP SHOTS ... They are very dishonest. They said they sent a certificate explaining the promotion details, but I never got it, that was why I called them XXXX in different times and received the misdirecting answer from them. They simply want me to pay for XXXX cars instead of waiving my last payments of about {$650.00} as PROMISED and ADVERTISED.
