Complaint: This dispute is in regards to the account number ending in XXXX. The account is assigned to XXXX and XXXX XXXX. When we created the online account to setup automatic payments on XX/XX/2017, we spoke to the Toyota customer service representative about setting automatic payments. As the account was being setup, what was overlooked is the fact that the start date of the payment is different from cycle date. They setup the payment cycle system after the due date on the account and made my payment late. From there Toyota financial reported it to the credit bureaus. They reported a late payment and that affected my credit report and score. Im sending this letter so that your department can look into our inquiry and remove the late payment on our credit report. Complaint: XXXX has been allowing Toyota financial to report false information on my report without a proper investigation for years. Toyota financial illegally repossessed my vehicle XX/XX/XXXX. I stopped paying XX/XX/XXXX after requesting verification of my balance. Which they would not supply to me. Toyota has falsely and knowingly reported information on my credit report for years. When I dispute Toyota will change a number ex XX/XX/XXXX 120 days late to 160 days late and XXXX says its valid. Toyota has opened and closed the account many time. Most recently changing it to closed XX/XX/XXXX dropping my score 40 pts. XXXX has always stated this a valid and verified according to the fair credit reporting act. This account has been closed for years. Toyota once reported to XXXX that I owed {$2300.00}, changed the date opened and that was validated by experian for months until I spoke to the attorney general in ma. I just want valid and verified information reported on my reported. I have tried to get answers about how my disputed information was verified without answers. This should be illegal but it seems as long as Toyota or whoever else just changes a number when info is disputed the credit agencies state its valid without any type of actual verification. This has been happening to me with Toyota and the CRAs for years. Do I really need to get a lawyer because these companies can report whatever they like while the CRAs verify whatever is reported without any type of information. This needs to stop and it needs to stop now. Im tired of being told false information about me is valid and theres nothing I can do about it. Now I cant dispute that my 10 year old account was closed 2 weeks ago because I already disputed and it was deemed valid.

Complaint: Toyota XXXX Toyota financial services has reported incorrectly a 30 day late pay for XX/XX/XXXX. I advised the company that my credit report shows a 30 day late for both XXXX and XXXX and I was initially advised that the XXXX late payment was incorrect as the payment posted on XX/XX/XXXX and that It would be researched. Research was completed and I was advised the credit reporting is correct and it reports 30 days behind meaning that my XXXX and XXXX payment were past due. I was always under the impression that credit reporting reflects current date and not 30 days behind. my XXXX payment was deducted from my account on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX payment on XX/XX/XXXX.. XXXX payment was indeed past due with XXXX payment postin XX/XX/XXXX ... my payments are due on the XXXX of each month. I was then advised my the rep that it was difficult to see when the payments actually posted because of the late payments. this is the second time I have had an issue with the Toyota reflecting on my credit report incorrectly and that time they also initially indicated there was no error. please help.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX orXX/XX/XXXX my car was repossessed. In order to obtain my car, I had to pay all the late fees and bring my account current. Now I am finally able to come to my last payment and Toyota has added {$1500.00} in late fees. After I had my car repossessed, I never missed any payments. I feel that Toyota is attempting to recover late fees that have already been collected. Each time that I would call, they would tell me that there was no late fees and not to worry as they would drop at the end of the loan. This is my first car purchase and I feel they are trying to take advantage of me.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX IL XXXX I have cosigned one XXXX for my brother under account number XXXX I got shocked to receive default notice from TMCC in XXXX second week, that there is no payment has been submitted on this account. Upon investigation, I found out account number on this account was entered incorrectly, that why payments were not being made and bouncing back. It was fixed when found out. My credit has been reported for 2 late payments. How come lender never communicated with the person for 90 days. There was NO communication till XXXX first week, when we found out and cured. I think reporting adverse late payment history to credit bureau without even approaching borrower is not right practice. When the accounts get delinquent, Borrower/guarantee should have gotten a communication right away.

Complaint: I respectfully request an Investigation on the automobile manufacture Toyota, CEO XXXX XXXX, CEO XXXX XXXX, and CFO XXXX XXXX as I have been complaining to Toyota in reference to their possible deceit with their vehicles reported Miles Per Gallon ( mpg ) and fuel efficiency. I am stating that Toyota is possibly falsely marketing and advertising that their cars are getting a higher miles per gallon than they are actually getting, possibly conspiring to commit fraud against me, and the United States Consumers, possible Wire Fraud and Violations against the Clean Air Act, possible collusion, possible Obstruction of Justice and Importation of goods through false statements, also possible Predatory, Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices, to include fraud, forgery, and perjury. In their letter to me, dated XXXX ( attached Exhibit 1 ), through the statements of the Toyota Attorneys XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, they affirm that the Toyota on-board computer was reading ( XXXX mpg ), which is almost 16 miles per gallon more than what the vehicle was actually getting and the marketing of the miles per gallon in this vehicle. In this letter, they showed pictures of what the on-board computer was displaying, then copies of what the actual miles per gallon received, which was XXXX mpg ( Exhibits 2, 3 4 Gas Receipts dated XXXX ). That is almost a 16 miles per gallon difference, proving the possible felonies above. I sent Toyota 2 letters ( attached Exhibits 5 and 6 ) complaining about my low gas mileage that I was getting in the new Toyota XXXX XXXX XXXX I bought from Toyota above. I have been complaining to Toyota since I first received the XXXX car in XXXX about the low miles per gallon, which I was receiving about 50 % less mpg ( about 37 mpg ) than what was told to me by the Sales Manager and General Manager from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( 65-69 mpg ). I had called the Sales Manager over 10 times requesting advice on how to get the gas mileage that he and the General Manager had promised me, along with the XXXX XXXX ( attached Exhibit 7 Window Sticker ) which was the only reason why I bought the car. The XXXX Label was at least 10 miles per gallon higher than the actual miles per gallon received. This in itself may be predatory trade practices. I took my Toyota to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX dealership on 3 occasions speaking with the service manager XXXX XXXX for the service department to check the electric motor and batteries to determine if there was a problem. At each inspection, the result was the same : The vehicle is in perfect working condition as it was meant to work and operate.

Complaint: I am a customer of Toyota Financial and currently have a loan opened in XX/XX/XXXX. I work for XXXX XXXX and the company is going under payroll changes to accommodate an integration between the XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and those current changes are directly affecting my financial situation. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from XXXX XXXX advising that due to the transition process, the XX/XX/XXXX paycheck would be affected and not paid to it's employees and the company offered an optional " bridge loan '', which would cover 25 hours of pay and repayment would start on our paycheck for XX/XX/XXXX for every pay cycle in ten installments, which on my case, I am paid on the XXXX and XXXX of each month and those twice a month repayments affected me directly for five months. That impacted my entire household financial responsibilities, including my car payments with Toyota Financial, and I started to accrue high late fees. On XXXX XXXX I received a second letter from XXXX informing that due to more changes on their payroll system, I will receive one less paycheck in XX/XX/XXXX, a total of 23 instead of 24 paychecks. As of today ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I have accrued {$190.00} in late fees with XXXX XXXX due to the changes on my payroll and current financial situation directly affected by my employment. I am also 3-days behind on my payments since XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted Toyota Financial Services on XX/XX/XXXX and requested an payment extension on my loan to help me to catch up with my payments while I am still dealing with my company 's payroll changes and gaps on pay, and spoke with XXXX, who introduced herself as a supervisor. I explained my unique situation and asked if I could get an extension on my loan and she simply told me that extension was not possible due to a past extension. I am sending this request to the CFPB to request some assistance on dealing with Toyota Financial Services to ask for a review on my current payment situation and a possible loan extension, since Toyota Financial Services is not reviewing my account and request based on my individual situation. I am including copies of all documentation for review.

Complaint: I purchased a vehicle 3 years ago. As of recently I've made every payment on time. About a year ago I went through a separation from my children 's mother. For custody reasons she has gone out of her way to destroy my credit and career, in order to win custody of our children. She has cost me 2 jobs, by showing up and harassing me. I have evidence of this. She has opened 3 accounts in my name. If have no problem paying these if I could maintain a job. My vehicle was intentionally damaged. Sugar was poured into the gas tank. It caused over {$2000.00} in damage. She disputed 3 payments made through an account that she had used to pay with. She was listed as on the vehicle account as a driver, and on the auto insurance, which she also disputed 2 payments. After which she reported to the auto finance company the location of my vehicle and said to repo it. Then bragged about lying and what she had done one social media. I've since made the repairs using what saved money I have. I'm having troubles catching the vehicle up in order to use it as transportation to an from work. I'm a XXXX XXXX, and can make money with or with out a job. It's just she to the personal attacks from this individual I'm currently in a circle of dept that has locked my ability to grasp how and what to do to overcome it. I need advise or help. Recently I made {$800.00} in payments to get the vehicle under 90 days past due. Toyota told me they would give me options after I did that, and vehicle would be taken out of repo status. They denyed my request to move the past due amount to the back of the dept like they agreed. Then sent a repo agent to claim the vehicle. I denyed then the vehicle. And will continue to do so. I've worked hard to buy, keep, maintain, and repair my vehicle. I'm still behind exactly what was disputed. I'm only weeks from fully financially collapsing and losing my home and everything. Complaint: Toyota Financial has threatened me with collections despite my disputing their billing at the end of a lease. The car was turned in, the account was closed, and I was told I had fulfilled all contractual obligations. Then they sent me US Mail with additional bills and began calling my cell phone. I am XXXX and do not use voice telephones. A caretaker answered several times to tell them to send me email or a fax and they refused. She told them to stop calling and they refused. She asked for accessible contact information for them, and they refused. She requested they send their recording of the phone call to their general counsel for redress, and they refused. Additionally, I contacted them on XXXX chat and on XXXX and they refused to provide any documentation for their billing whatsoever, and also refused to give me accessible contact information. I was able to log into my old account and send an email once again disputing the amount and once again asking for accessible contact information. I received no response, and my ability to email them or read email on the portal was disabled. Toyota Financial is in violation of Title II of the ADA, the FCRP, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and my civil rights. They refuse to provide any access to legally required dispute processes, or even contact information. I can interact with them via fax, email, online chat, secure email via login portal, etc., but still they refuse to provide any contact information whatsoever. Their threat to turn me over to collections and cause me financial damages with no ability for me to even use my legally mandated remedies is ridiculous.

Complaint: I have been leasing cars from Toyota Financial for the last ten years. I have never had any plate payments. Last XX/XX/2018, Toyota Financial inaccurately placed a 30 days late payment on my account when I had autopay, as well as I never received a notification, or a call that the payment was late! When I found out around 25 days later as I was checking online to get a payoff information as my lease was coming to an end, I called Toyota financial to ask why there is a late payment and why there is a late fee on my account, when I have auto pay and I never received notification from them regarding late payment as they are obligated to do so per my online registration agreement, he replied from me not to worry as the payment is not more then 30 days late, and credited back my account the late fee. I advised him that I will make a double payment to take care of the late payment, witch I paid online right away. I mailed a letter to Toyota Financial explaining what happened and that I don't have time to always check my online account as I am an XXXX XXXX, they refused to remove it witch is effecting my credit score by more then 50 points. Had they called my Phone number on file, or email me to inform me of a late payment as they are obligated to do so, this would have never happened. They also have inaccurate information on my online account. When I sign in, they have a different first name witch doesn't belong to me. I advised them on many occasions and still they never corrected the issue, even as of this date, when I sign in to my online account, it shows a different name. This could be related to why the autopay was stopped. Thank you for your time and assistance!
