Complaint: I financed a car through a bank but the car has engine issues so I tried to fix it with the dealer but he failed to. I have to take Them to court and I won the case. Since the bank was aware of the circumstances they assigned my account to a special team to follow up and take payments for the loan. I have been making the payments as planned. However, the communication with this department changed all of a sudden and I kept calling leaving voice messages to make the payment. The scenario went on and on for almost a year. I know I have the car and the loan is not complete. So I insisted on contacting them and spoke to various people at the bank until finally someone figured it out. As soon as they realized the car loan has not been paid they took the car without offering me ways to remedy the problem. I called them because I wanted to solve the issue and avoid this type of scenario. So I am with no car and it was not my fault. They want me to pay off the whole loan $ XXXX.

Complaint: Im gon na do my best w/dates. Memory issues. I complained through your company and received a refund somewhere in the area of {$3000.00}. Thank You. But after more investigation I found one year that TCF charged me in the area of {$13000.00}!!!!! In overdraft fees that not only did I not authorize I actually went into the XXXX XXXX branch where Im sure they have copies of the exact date and times I was inside which is only a hand full.That day inside the he I was speaking with a rep from your company on this and even sent original Tcf statements showing the dates ( approx ) a year, the massive amount of TCF unlawful charges they charged my account in 12 month period. I specially went there that day to specifically to demand if there is no money in my account I do not want you to be nice and let it slide along with {$37.00}, $ XXXX. If the money aint in the account DO NOT LET IT GO THROUGH, PERIOD!!! XXXX XXXX XXXX. I know There is settlement in place for victims of this greedy with willful and won ton evil intent took our hard earned money! And the CEO OF TCF Yacht has the name OVERDRAFT on it??? The arrogance of this man. Basically said to me XXXX I got your money .Thank you keep banking with me and Ill keep treating you just like everyone else, my word Anyway about the settlement. Im in one of the 5 states Illinios. And mine is a rather large amount. Please let me know what to do to get involved in that settlement over XXXX? Complaint: We filed a complaint with you in the past and you threw us under the bus. Now I see you have sued TCF bank and won. You helped numerous people with similar experiences with Tcf bank. This is our newest complaint as we are victims of a predatory loan and have been charged over XXXX in late fees. We alerted you many years ago when the housing crisis first broke. Tcf uses late fees to their advantage when we Apply for a new long with another institution try to move our loan to another institution. Tcf call the bank BMO only to say we were 30 day late which was a lie it stopped us from getting refinanced and we were told they sent our payment to the wrong department and only to remove it later They report it to the creditors to stop us from getting a loan then remove it once our loan don't go through with the other institutions. Our loan is not serviceable and tcf is holding us hostage by adding on late fees that cant be proven.we never heard back please update us on what you found out and what action you took XXXX and XXXX XXXX filed against TCFBank never heard back. We do believe that we have been distriminate against Because of our race please help us.
